24 | feeling safe

So after having breakfast, I pulled Klaus out of the house to the beautiful backyard where everyone was settled in a sitting area with Bonnie and Kol sitting on the picnic mat with a book in the center.

Oh! It's Witchyology episode 2.

Klaus and I settled down beside Kol. I was between these two boys.

Kol whispered, "We need to talk," he said seriously. "Why?" I asked him. "I want to know how sex with Klaus is," he whispered and I rolled my eyes at him.

"You're disgusting you know that?" I scrunched up my nose at him. He shrugged. Bonnie was busy flipping the pages of the book. Klaus and Elijah were having a conversation of their own. Katherine and Rebekah were arguing about something.

"Okay, I've got one, how about litting this paper on fire," Bonnie said and looked at Kol.

"Ofcourse honey, whatever you want," he winked at her. Bonnie rolled her eyes. I think something is happening between this two and I intend to find out.

Did I mention that Bonnie is actually staying in this house? Kol made her.

"Me and Elijah are leaving," Katherine said suddenly and added, "We'll be back soon,".

Soon, they left.

I noticed Rebekah look at her phone and smile after a while. Hmm, wonder who is making Lil' original devil smile...

Time to be Sherlock!

"I am going to grab something to eat," I said and stood up.

"Rebekah, come along," I added. Rebekah looked up, breaking from her trance before following me.

Gee, I am starting to behave like Klaus, ordering people around. It's kind of thrilling. Klaus gave me a lopsided grin before continuing to watch the show.

I led us to the kitchen and sat on the stool there.

"Aren't you going to grab anything?" She asked her eyes still fixated on her phone.

"Okay, time to play twenty questions," I quickly said and grabbed her phone and shoved it in my pant pocket, while giving her a innocent smile.

"Caroline, give me back my phone," she demanded her fists banging on the table.

"No, you're not getting it until you answer my questions, sunshine," I said and winked at her. She rolled her eyes.

"I am not answering any of your lame questions," she said and eyed my pant pocket. I felt vibration on my thigh and smirked up at her. She widened her eyes.

Oh god, I am really starting to act like Klaus.

"Caroline, please give me back my phone, I will buy you a nursery book," she pleaded. She knows about it? How does she know?

"How do you know about the nursery rhyme thingamajig?" I asked her while I flashbacked to the part where I sang Ol' McDonalds.

I don't think I should be classified under the title 'Vampire'. Maybe, under the title of 'Age 5'.

"Kol," she simply replied. I felt another vibration on my thigh.

"Caroline, please give me back my phone," her tone now demanding, her eyes pleading.

"Nope,"

"Please,"

"Nah,"

"I will buy you anything,"

"I don't need anything,"

"Caroline, stop being stubborn,"

"Then, answer my questions,"

"Caroline!"

"Rebekah!"

"Ok, that's it, I am calling Kol,"

Okay, I didn't expect that. I have to stop this. He would definitely support her. She gave me a wicked smile before walking away. I flashed in front of her in the intentions of stopping her. She gently pushed me away.

"IhadsexwithKlaus," I abruptly said and she paused.

Welcome to another episode of 'Adventures of Me and My Bloody Mouth'.

She turned around her eyes widened. "What?" She asked and turned around fully facing me. I shrugged slowly. Awkward~

She quickly grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the kitchen table. We settled down facing each other in opposite directions.

"Tell me," she said and I shrugged, "I already did," I said.

"Tell me more," she stated and I felt vibration on my thigh.

Woah, someone's eager. Too eager.

"I mean, I know things were getting hot and heavy between you two and I was expecting it but I still want to know about it, Kol also told me some rumours," and she added, "Please don't talk about how and what positions you did it with him, I don't want to vomit on your beautiful." I let out a small giggle.

"Well, we were talking Stefan and mine's relationship then I was teasing him about how he is jealous and it kind of leaded to 'hanky panky'," I finished shortly. "Now, your turn sunshine," I added.

"Didn't you notice that I was missing this morning?" She paused to let me think about it. Yeah, she was. How can I not notice? I am the Queen of Noticing. Maybe I didn't because I was in a sleepy state. I am vulnerable in the morning.

"Yeah," she paused, "Well, someone called me for a walk and I agreed, well, we talked out things and things became weird for a moment, then Voila! We are kissing," she finished. I was going to ask something before she added, "It didn't lead to anything more than that," she stated.

I let out a sigh of relief.

Suddenly I had another question popping in my mind. I was going to ask that when she interrupted me again, "and he's not a stranger," she stated again.

I think she is a mind reader. In training.

"Who is he?" I demanded and just then I felt vibration on my thigh and Rebekah eyed my pocket again, her eyes widening. I gave her a wicked smile before I dashed off to the art room. It's the safest place.

I took out my phone quickly and read the four short Messages from...

Stefan. Stefan Salvatore. Stefan Salvatore as in Damon's brother. Damon Salvatore's brother. The brother of Damon Salvatore. The brother who is currently dating Elena. Elena Gilbert. Elena Gilbert who is my bestfriend. As in Me. Caroline Forbes. Caroline Forbes as in the Sheriff's dau---Okay, when did Stefan Salvatore turn into me?

Nvm.

I felt someone grab the phone in my hands. I turned around to look at Rebekah.

"Stefan?" I asked surprised. "Yeah..." she said sheepishly, finding her feet attractive suddenly.

"Okay," I said and gave her a nod, "good luck with handling him," I bid farewell to her and went to join the party downstairs.

"Caroline," she called me cautiously and I turned around, giving her a curious look.

"You rock, woman," she said and I laughed. She giggled and sat down on the window seat and continued texting.

After I joined Klaus watching the show of Witchyology, we sat there for the rest of the day while I calm down Bonnie while Klaus encourages Kol.

The rest of the day went like this while we bring food from the kitchen and eat whenever we feel like eating.

At the end of the day, Kol learned 11 spells for defense and simple everyday-use spells. Bonnie was worn out at the end of the day and immediately went up to bed. Kol did the same.

Klaus and I were stargazing lying on the picnic mat. I did star gazing once before, when I was young, with my father. I quickly felt something pang my heart at the thought of my father. I miss him.

I suddenly remembered the ways he used to torture me in the cell when he realised that I was a vampire. I shuddered at that thought and snuggled closer to Klaus for safety. He wrapped his arm around me while I rested my head on his chest.

I can't believe that the one person who used to scare the living crap out of me is now the only person I feel safe with. I feel safer in his arms than my parents. Maybe, its because he is the strongest creature on earth. But, it can't be. Its just something more. Something that I cannot define with words. I feel like it's just me and him against the world. Although we are not a typical highschool couple like I was with Tyler, it's mature and uncomplicated. We have a mutual understanding that I didn't have with Tyler.

Life is so weird with its twists and turns. Atleast, I survived it. I have survived a lot of things.

My mum says, "In life, you have to run before you start walking," . It's true. So true. I love my mom.

The night is beautiful. I glance up at the moon. It's a full moon tommorow. I take a closer look at the moon with my sharp vampire eyes. I can see dark grey patterns on it. It's beautiful just like Klaus.

Maybe, there is a God.
