Here are the main characters of the story:

Gemma Goldstein

A young girl who served the Empire as an imperial officer at an early age, with no recollection of her memories other than her name, she was born with the gift of magic. Found in the caves of Gelid under the control of the Slave Crown.

Keylla Robberts

A snarky yet free spirited trail-worn traveller, admirer of ancient relics and a knack for pickpocketing valuable items wherever she goes or whenever deemed necessary. She was sent to find the Magitech-riding witch and bring her to the resistance before the Empire could get to her first.

Roni Vigoreaux

A charming king with a passion for machinery and a weakness for the ladies. He is allied with the Empire, though aids the resistance in secret. After purveying protection and shelter for Gemma in his fortified castle, it gets set ablaze by the Empire's court jester and most unpredictable imperial general, Fload Coulrod Stalin. The king signals his men to activate the castle's defenses as the automated vessel itself goes underground.

Rene Vigoreaux

Roni's younger, taller and muscular twin brother who chose his freedom instead of taking over the kingdom. He wandered off to Southwest Vigoreaux to pursue his dream of living a humble life as a monk under his mentor's wing and to hone his skills in martial arts and other techniques in his arsenal. Without a doubt, he would use his strength and mastery over the blitz technique to protect his loved ones from the danger that lies ahead.

Cirrus Hale

An erstwhile imperial officer of the Erthilean Empire who was detained in Southwest Vigoreaux for treason, stripped of his title as a high ranking general, remains under surveillance of the imperial soldiers. That is until a certain treasure huntress aids him in his escape by using a secret route.  He wields the art of rune casting and swordfighting that would deem a valuable asset against the Empire.

Umbra

A mysterious assassin known to blend in with the night. Her origin is unknown though one thing is certain, with her expertise in firearms, elemental scrolls, martial arts and weapons, she can kill her target at any distance. The client must pay a hefty price in order for the assassin to find the intended target and eliminate them. She does not go alone for she also has two hounds; Interceptor and Destroyer.

Azure Serif

A brave and noble samurai from the kingdom of Amod with mastery in the arts of bushido, he protected his people as his sworn duty. However, the river has been contaminated with cyanide poison throughout the kingdom and everyone perished, including his wife and children because of this. As he headed to the throne room to warn the king, it was already too late, only he became the sole survivor in the kingdom.

Fur

A girl who grew up with wild beasts and imitating them she learned to survive in the woods. Despite her small stature, she took down large monsters, she could be found among these creatures draped in monster hide with a warm light in her eyes.

Chaine Robberts

The renegade of the resistance and Keylla's estranged brother. Despite that he is Keylla's twin brother, they have nothing in common other than the ability to pickpocket. His ambition led to bringing an imperial spy to the resistance's hideout and turned his back on Keylla. No one had seen him since, rumor has it that he is on the lam from the Empire.

General Fload Coulrod Stalin

Known to being the Erthilian Empire's court jester and a high ranking general, he is also infamously known for being the most ambitious, spontaneous and blood-thirsty of them all amidst Erthil's reign. He won't stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if it means to throw the world off its axis.
