Manal, Though unconscious could feel how much pain she was in. She knew that a time like this would come where she would go back to her creator. Maybe this was better for her, since No one cared for her in this world. It was better for her to die, she wasn't going to fight to be alive. It didn't matter, her existence is of no importance to anyone. So she thought, she was ready to give up but the Almighty creator had his own plans. Indeed, she wasn't fighting to remain alive but it was very much known to her that Allah didn't want her to die just yet. She felt an injection pierce through her skin. It was painful, she could feel it. She saw herself in a dark land and the only light there was her. She wore white and she looked very sad. "Manal!" A very familiar voice was heard from afar. She immediately stood up, her light glowing even more as she stood.

"Go back, The world needs you Manal" It was the voice of Cairo's late mother. The woman was the only support Manal had ever since she was married but the poor woman had to die. The day she died marked the Anniversary of Manal's suffering.

"No, I want to join you. I
Miss you" She said calmly. A little train of tears cascading down.

"No Manal, it's not your time, Go back" the voice seemed very distant and all of a sudden. In the real world, She opened her eyes to see Doctor Emeka before her. She immediately hissed, which didn't go unheard by Doctor Emeka, he wondered what was wrong with his patient. Well, what was his business. All he knew was that she had woken up. His job here, was done. He walked outside and requested that Cairo follow him to his office, they both sat facing each other with the doctor speaking first. "She's out of danger for now, but I can't assure you that this will not happen again. Cairo what's wrong with her?, Did she lose anyone in her family?, Did you say something hurtful to her?. Because I don't understand why a young lady like herself would suffer this at a young age, you said she's just 21 right?" He asked and Cairo Nodded. "Cairo, I'm advising you as a friend and not as a doctor. Take it easy on her, I don't know what situation you both are in but I'm no fool. I understand you both aren't happily married, it's no secret" He said.

"Thank you Doctor Emeka, I'll take it easy on her" Cairo said.

"The faster, the better. That girl could suffer a major heart attack next and trust me, I swear she'll die if God does not intervene" Doctor Emeka said.

"Can I see her now?" He asked and Doctor Emeka nodded.

"Be gentle when you speak to her please" Doctor Emeka reminded and Cairo nodded while standing on his feet. He exited the doctors office and made his way into the room where Manal was kept. He stared at her from the entrance, her eyes were shut but there was a train of tears cascading down. He knew she wasn't asleep because her lips were moving and he could hear her making Dua's (She was praying). He took gentle steps towards her and sat on the chair before her "Are you Okay?" He asked calmly. She didn't reply nor open her eyes. "I can see you are good now, Alhamdudilah (Glory be to God) that you are not dead, or else I don't know what will happen to my reputation" He said. Those words hurt her, but what was she expecting. He didn't care about her after all. "Don't worry, your reputation is intact" She opened her eyes to say. He stared deep into her eyes and he couldn't fail to see the pain in Them. He knew he was hurting her but this was the only way to make her leave his life, his mother made him promise not to divorce her except she wants it. He has been torturing her ever since they got married just to make her ask for one. But this girl was stubborn, instead she once told him she loved him. Which he laughed at her for uttering, he could never love her and he knew it.

"Why don't you just leave my life. I'm evil, I'll keep hurting you Manal. Just leave!" He said. She looked at him in the eyes and shook her head pitifully. "I'm your wife Cairo, wether you like it or not" she uttered.

"You are punishing yourself, you know I'll never stop hurting you because I hate you" He said.

"And I love you, And it's still hard to understand why Allah put your love in my heart. It's very hard to understand why I can't stop loving and caring for you" She wiped the drop of tears that flowed out of her eyes as she spoke.

"Oh please, you do not know what love is. What you feel is your stupidity kicking in, you do not love me. It's foolishness, it'd be better for you to forget about me, because I hate you and I'll Never love you back Manal, That's the truth" He said while holding onto her arm calmly.

"I know, but I love you for The Sake Of Allah" She said. He tightened his grip on her arm and said "YOU ARE A BIG FOOL" He said sternly. She yanked her arm away from his grip and closed her eyes back. He looked at her irritatingly. "You'll die if you continue to love me" He said before turning around and leaving. Another round of tears began making its way down her eyes. Though they were closed, it was better to cry that way because she felt as though her heart would lighten if she cries like this. She wanted to die but not by her hands, but by Allahs wish. Why doesn't he just take her soul, she was tired of life and all she wanted was to just face her lord and take blame for her sins for all humans are sinners. She knew that this world had nothing for a poor orphan like her. Ever since the day she was born, she hasn't known happiness but tremendous tribulations and Danger. Her life began the day her mother died, she knew the world was cruel from then on.
