A dark room is shown where things are scattered all over the place.. A strong smell of alcohol surrounded the whole place.. It seems as if it was abandoned for a long time.. A drunken laksh is seen on the floor with alcohol bottles lying around him..

He slowly opened his eyes to look up the ceiling but was greeted by an angelic face with a beautiful smile on it.. It's none other than his ragini.

He slowly tried to get up but then falls down weak due to alcohol effect
He felt a severe pain in his arm and when he gets up he finds an broken piece of alcohol bottle sticking to his skin and blood oozing from it..
He gets reminded of the time when ragini treated his wound .. Remembering it only brought more tears to his eyes..

He with a great difficulty crawled towards to the wall and stood up caressing her pic.. The whole room was surrounded by only raginis pics.. For others it may seem as an abandoned room but for him it's the heaven as it contains all his memories with ragini..
He heard someone knocking ob the door and looks up to see his mother standing there teary eyed with food plate in her hand..

Laksh drops down his head in guilt as he failed in all ways.. First he failed as a husband and then now as a son.. He felt as if he was the most worst person in the whole world..

Ap just then noticed the wound in his arm. She rushed to the cupboard and took the first aid box to treat him but laksh stopped her by holding her hand..
L: I deserve all this pain.. Infact I'm alive only to experience all this pain as death is an easy solution for problems and I don't even deserve death.. I'm waiting only for ragini not because I expect her to forgive me but just I want her to give me some punishment no matter what it is..
Ap couldn't control her tears anymore.. She hugged laksh and cried seeing his condition.. Unable to bear it anymore she left the room and ran downstairs to her room and kept crying..
All these were witnessed by swasan who are in tears themselves..
Swa : as promised we can only bring laksh home but not his happiness..
San : Haan swara the moment ragini left the home the light has left from our lives too..
Hearing ragini name swara burst out crying while sanskar hugged her to console her..
Few days passes :
Mishka was adopted by swasan as nowadays laksh doesn't come out of his room and he never talks with anyone not even with mishka.. Seeing mishka he only grew more angry as she's one of the reason for his separation with ragini.. He felt if he hasn't chosen mishka over ragini then he wouldn't have to experience all this pain.. But mishka is heartbroken as there's no one for her now and everyone hated her.. Seeing her condition swasan provided her with love and adopted her too.
One day laksh was seen coming out of the room after many days all fresh and like the old laksh..

Everyone was surprised seeing him like that.. Ap was the most happiest person to see him back in this condition..
Ap: beta, finally I'm so happy to see you like this.. I was waiting for this day..
Saying so she cupped his face but laksh held her hand and said
L: nahi Maa.. Nothing has changed.. Neither my condition nor my love for ragini.. Maa.. Today is ragini birthday.. I know you all would have forgotten it. After all ragini was always like a door mat to you all including me.. We never gave  any importance either for her or her feelings.. I know you all love swara bhabi more and that's the reason you all forgot this day. But I won't.. Hereafter my only reason for living is my ragini no matter if she's with me or not.. I'm going to temple.. It's the place which my ragini loves the most..
Saying so he left for temple while everyone stood dumbfounded.. They didn't utter a word as whatever he said is cent percent true and they are ashamed of themselves for the way they treated ragini.
At temple :
Laksh was seen praying in the temple. When suddenly he felt as if his heart started to race.. He felt like really breathing after a long time.. Unknown pleasure took place all over his heart.. He looked here and there when his eyes spotted the reason for his happiness.. Infact the reason for his living. His ragini.. He couldn't believe his own eyes.. It felt as if he has took a new birth..
But his happiness is short lived when he found mangalsutra on her neck and sindoor on her forehead..

He very well know that it's not for him as he was having it in his hands (the only thing that made him feel connected to her)
Soon ragini also meets his eyes but she doesn't show any reaction.. She simply walked past him followed by a person behind her..
Laksh felt as if the whole world around him started spinning.. He runs towards her and holds her wrist while ragini remained unmoved..
L : Ragini what's this? How are you? Where were you all this time?
He cupped her face and looked with all the love in the world
L: what happened to you.. I missed you a lot bachcha. Where did you go?
Suddenly he felt some strong push and the next moment he was on the floor.. When he looked up at the person who pushed him. It was the same one who was following ragini from behind..

That person : excuse me.. How dare you to touch my wife?
Laksh felt as if the thunder strikd him with full force.. All he could mutter was a painful "what"
That person : yes she's my wife.. Her name is not ragini but diya.. She's dita ratan Maan Singh..
Laksh couldn't believe what he heard..
He looked straight at ragini with a questioning look asking if it's true for which she simply nodded..
Laksh finally retrieving from his shock thought of something and then he looked once again at ragini..

L: Ragini.. I know you are doing this for what I did to you.. But please don't do this.. Please punish me with whatever way you want but not this way it kills me.. Please
He folded his hands in front of her hands and begged to not do this
Then ratan finally spoke
R : enough is enough.. You seem to have mistaken.. Just let us go
Saying so he pushed laksh and took hold of raginis hand and started leaving but laksh eyes are fixed on only his raginis eyes. He knows her eyes can never betray him..

As expected a tiny drop of tear escaped her eyes which is enough to prove that it's his ragini..
Laksh as finally found his Last Hope for his living.. He's determined to win back his ragini at any cost..
