Chapter Seven

"Go Hope! Go Hope! Go Hope!"

Henry jumped up and down in the stands before the quidditch pitch until he looked over and saw Hope looking over in his direction.

"What?"

"Henry, I'm not even out on the pitch yet and this is just practice."

"I know, I'm practicing myself. GO HOPE!" He yelled in her face.

"Henry! Knock it off!"

"Weasley, get down here!" they heard Fergus call up to the stands.

Hope made a face before making a threatening lunge at Henry causing him to flinch before she headed towards the pitch.

Henry sat down patiently wearing his knitted jumper that Hope's mother had made for him last Christmas. He watched as the Gryffindor quidditch team took to air from their brooms for some practice.

Benjamin McGregor hadn't been exaggerating when he said that Hope was a good Beater. In fact, she was a brilliant Beater taking after her father and uncle. However, she hadn't been born with natural talent for the sport, it took days and weeks, not to mention years of practicing with her family, including her Aunt Ginny. There was no other family to learn the sport of quidditch better with than the Weasley family.

Henry never had much desire to play the sport, but he enjoyed watching Hope play. It was always fun to see her inner badger come out on the pitch, as long as she didn't unleash her badger side on him.

He would continue to yell out continuously every time her bat connected with a bludger to the point where the entire quidditch team was glancing over in his direction.

"Keep it down!" Fergus yelled to him.

"You can't tell me what to do, Woody!" He yelled back.

Hope smiled in Henry's direction who winked at her with a playful smirk.

"You know, one of these days, Wood is just going to attack you during a practice, which wouldn't seem so far fetch but you're not even on the team." Hope said to Henry that evening as she walked alongside of him to the Great Hall for dinner.

"Well you know, I'm in the Gryffindor House, I'm allowed to cheer on my fellow Gryffindor." Henry said nudging her arm with his elbow.

"I certainly appreciate the personal fan base, GuppyPuppy, but you're going to get me in trouble with Fergie."

"Fergie needs to calm down, it's just quidditch."

"Go ahead and tell him that. Do you forget who his father is?"

"Which one?" Henry teased causing Hope to smack his arm.

"You know which one I'm talking about." Hope said to him.

"Of course I do. But you guys are looking great out there! Hopefully, you guys  take the cup home this year."

"Haaaa..." the two said together at Henry's pun as they pointed at one another.

They entered the Great Hall and before they could sit down at the Gryffindor Table, Hope was grabbed by Teddy and used as a shield as he tried to dodge an incoming attack from Stella who seemed out on the war path to kill him.

"Wait, wait!" Hope blocked her face with her arms as Stella came at them.

Henry stood in front of  Hope to protect her but as soon as he saw the dragon that was Stella coming right for them, he grabbed Hope and pulled her out of harms way allowing Stella to attack Teddy directly.

"Traitors!" Teddy said dodging Stella last second and running out of Great Hall.

Henry and Hope turned to where Eliza and Elliot were looking  in their direction.

"Do we even want to know?" Henry asked.

"No." the two shook their heads at him.

"Good enough for me."

Henry was balancing his quill on his nose during class when it was smacked off. He looked up to see his mother looking down at him.

"Hi Mummy." he grinned at her, causing other students in the classroom to snicker.

"Mr. Black," Nixie said to him, ' Why is your teapot not a tortoise?"

The woman tapped her foot on the floor as she looked at her son.

"Because the tortoise likes being a tortoise?"

She hit him in the face with the quill. "Focus." she smirked at him before walking off.

"Good going." Hope snorted under her breath at him.

Henry glanced down at the teapot that had a shell on it still. "I can say the same for you."

Hope looked down to her creation.

"Hey, I think I'm doing pretty good. This calls for a shellabration!" Hope clapped her hands together.

"Oh Merlin." Henry chuckled. "That was shellarious."

"Turtlely."

The two giggled until Nixie gave them both a look as they disrupted the class again.

When class was over, Nixie approached the two where they were sitting and sat down on the desk across from them.

"You two are going to be the death of me in this class..."

"Sorry Mum I-"

"I'm just in shell shock." Nixie said with a grin.

"Aww Mum!" Henry clapped his hands over his face.

"Ten points to Nixie." Nixie said going to leave the classroom.

Hope looked over at Henry who was still shaking his head. "Your mum is awesome."

"Yeah I know, but I can't let her know that. It's like the rules of being a teenager, I'm supposed to be embarrassed by her."

"That's a load of rubbish, Henry. I'm not embarrassed by my parents. I acknowledge their greatness. "

"That's because if you didn't you would be attacked by a badger."

"You forget that your mother's favorite threat was dragging people to the bottom of the Black Lake...and she actually did it." Hope pointed out.

"Right, but it really wouldn't work much with me." Henry said lifting his legs up together and flapping them around.

"Oh right."

'Still, her mermaid face still scares me." Henry admitted.

"I wonder what yours looks like."

"I dunno." he shrugged. "I've never been angry enough to see it for myself."

"Well, here let's start making you angry." Hope said pinching his leg.

"OW!"

'Come on, get angry!"

"WAIT STOP IT!" Henry screamed before running  out of the room. "It's not making me angry-"

"Yet!"
