Chapter Forty One
"Please! Please! Please!" Hope had her arms wrapped around her cousin's leg as she begged the girl to join their team when they entered their names in the tournament.
Stella Weasley had her arms crossed over her chest as she stared down at Hope who was still begging at her feet, after thirty minutes of persistent "pleases."
"Hope, I already said-"
Henry dropped down to his knees and followed Hope's actions, wrapping his arms around the other leg, preventing Stella from moving forward completely.
"Henry!" Stella growled. "Hope! You two knock it off!"
"Please, Stella. I'll stop begging if you agree." Hope looked up at her, flashing a smile and batting her eyelashes. "Please."
"No." Stella said. "You two are out of your minds if you think I'm going to join something like that. It's a waste of time and for what? This whole eternal glory nonsense? No thanks."
"We don't want in for that stuff." Henry told her.
"Then why are you two bothering with it to begin with?"
"For fun." Hope shrugged.
Stella rolled her eyes before they settled on Hope. "You realize that everyone in the family is going to kill you. And Henry, your mother is going to...well you'll be as good as dead too."
"It'll all be worth it!" Hope said. "I bet it's going to be a lot of fun."
Eliza and Elliot watched as the two fourth years held onto Stella, wanting her to join their team.
"I don't think they're going to have to worry about anyone else killing them, because I'm pretty sure Stella is going to do it." Elliot whispered to her.
"You have to give it to them, they are very persistent."
"It's Henry and Hope, of course they're persistent. Do you remember those two growing up when they didn't get what they wanted?" Elliot chuckled bringing a smile to Eliza's face.
"I'm surprised that they asked Stella, what about Fergie?"
"I heard he said no." Elliot said. "Wise decision, right?"
"I SAID NO!" Stella yelled at the two as she shook her legs free of them and ran down the corridor from them.
"Aww man!" Henry and Hope looked at each other as they sat on the floor with looks of disappointment clear on their faces.
"Well, who else do you have in mind?" Henry asked Hope, but the girl only shrugged.
"I was counting on Stella, after all, she's the rebel of the family. I thought it would also be interesting to have a dragon on the team."
Elliot and Eliza helped Henry and Hope back onto their feet.
"Hey don't look so disappointed, you two." Eliza said patting them on the back. "I think I know someone who will join your team."
"Really?" Hope looked at her excitedly. "Who? It's not Teddy, right? Because I already thought about asking him, but I'm sure Grandpa Rem Rem and Nana Tonks would skin him alive if he decided to enter."
"Uh no, I wasn't suggesting him." Eliza smiled. "I was going to say I'll join you."
"WHAT?!" Hope, Henry and Elliot shouted together.
The red head smiled at the group.
"Hey, I may not be the dragon of the family, but I know how to handle them, that's got to count for something, right?"
"You mean it?" Her little cousin looked up at her, their eyes meeting. "You're going to join us? You're not just saying it to say it, right?"
"No, I'm committed." Eliza said. "If you guys get into the tournament, I will join you. "
"Yes!" Henry and Hope exchanged a high five before hugging Eliza tightly and running off to somewhere that Eliza wasn't even going to question.
Elliot stared at his dear friend with a frown. 'You can't...You weren't serious about doing that, were you? Please tell me you were joking."
Eliza shook her head. "Come on, Elliot," she said throwing her arm around the fellow Ravenclaw student," what are the odds of Henry and Hope getting into the tournament compared to all those that are going to be entering? I highly doubt I have anything to worry about. The only thing we have to concern ourselves with, is helping Hope and Henry recover from their disappointment of not being chosen. That's all."
"I'd really like to think that you're right, but these aren't just regular students we're discussing, Eliza. This is Henry and Hope, you know some of things that they're capable of. Especially when they want something and they really want this."
"It'll be fine, Elliot."
"I really really hope you're right."
Henry was sitting on the sofa in the Common Room in amusement as Hope was standing on the back of the sofa, walking along as if she was walking a tight rope.
"You're going to end up falling." He called out to her as he tried to focus on the Herbology assignment that they were supposed to be working on.
"No, I'm not!" Hope protested.
"Okay, you're not going to end up falling."
Suddenly, he turned his head to catch Hope fall off the back and land onto the floor.
"You jinxed me!"
"I did not!"
"You did too! I was happily walking along before you said that."
"You're supposed to be doing homework."
He remained sitting until Hope's head popped up, her eyes glaring at him.
"Fine, I'll do the homework." She said before snatching up his things along with hers including their wands.
"Hope, wait that was-"
He saw her run over to the entrance of the girl's dorm entrance.
"Wait..Hope...don't you dare-"
She let out a wicked laugh before running up the stairs knowing that Henry couldn't follow. Sitting at the top of the stairs, she listened with a content smile as Henry kept calling up the stairs, ordering her to bring down the homework.
"Sorry, I can't hear you!" She called down with a triumphant grin on her face.
"You can't hide up there forever!" Henry shouted.
"Watch me!"
