CHAPTER THREE
Jin wakes up to cold water being splashed on him. He sits up and shivers as the cold was beginning to ghost on his skin. Seokjin looks around, his vision is still blurry. His eyes landed to a figure in front of him and Seokjin squint his eyes to focus on the blurry figure. He rubbed them making his eyesight now more evident. The guy in front of him smirked at Seokjin's intimidated expression.
"Wakey wakey sleeping beauty, had a good rest," the guy said in a sarcastic tone. Seokjin didn't answer and the guy was getting impatient, he crouched down to Jin's eye level with a irritated look. The guy took Seokjin by the hair and glared at him," Listen here princess, when I ask you a question I expect you to answer me," the guy tugged on the pink locks tighter,"immediately," he gritted his teeth. Seokjin winced and the guy made a satisfied look on Jin's pained expression.
There was a moment of silence before he let go of Seokjin's hair and stood up. He pointed at a basket, full of what seems to be dirty clothes, as he told Seokjin to do laundry. "When you're done washing the clothes make sure you cook dinner before 6pm. Otherwise, no food by then...you'll surely be dead meat," the guy said smirking at Jin who only got more terrified. Seokjin felt his heart beating a little fast and it was getting hard to breathe. Luckily, the guy left Seokjin with the basket full of dirty clothes.
Jin took sometime to calm down his breathing before standing up and trying to keep his balance. He looked at the laundry for a moment and sigh. 'Please someone send help...Ken, Sanduel,' Seokjin thought, a tear escaping from the corner of his eye. He wiped it away and took the basket. He looked to the corner of the room where an old washing machine along with a dryer stood. He thanked the heavens that at least the machines were close so he won't have to go outside and look for them.
He made his way to the old appliances figuring out how to use it. 3 minutes past and he managed to turn on the washing machine. He put half of the dirty clothes in before looking around for detergent. He found a gallon under a beaten up table. There was no measuring cup to see how much of the liquid he was putting so he just had to eyeball it. He could smell the detergent that had the fragrance of mint which wasn't so bad.
The time flew by and fortunately Seokjin was able to finish up washing the clothes. They're all dried up and folded now what's left is to make dinner. Jin took the basket that was now filled with freshly cleaned clothes and made his way out of the shack. He cautiously observed the outside, he saw a bunch of small wrecked houses on one side and on the other were big plantations with varieties of plants. He walked around the shack and behind it was a huge mansion. For some reason Seokjin feels like his been here before, the mansion just looked so familiar but Seokjin couldn't put a finger on why it was so familiar.
Seokjin shrugged his thoughts off and continued to walk until he approached of what seems to be the back door of the huge building. Jin thought of it for awhile if he should just go in there or not, well how else is he going to make dinner if he doesn't find a kitchen. Seokjin took in a deep breath before walking up the steps to the door. He slowly turned the knob carefully pushing it open as if it was going to break. He went inside and quietly closed the door behind him. Seokjin observe the spacious interior from the fancy chandeliers hanging below the tall ceiling, down the white concrete walls and to the shiny marbled flooring. There was a curve stairway at the end of the long hallway, doors on each side that leads to who knows where.
Seokjin gulped as he had to look around the huge place for the kitchen. It took quite awhile but he was able to find the living room and settled the laundry there. He continued his ongoing search for the goddamn kitchen and was getting anxiety because he was wasting a lot of time just from looking for a certain area. Finally after about 40 minutes, he opened a random door and bwalah, just like this huge place, inside was also a huge kitchen that includes the dining room. There was a bar at one corner, next to it was a three seat couch along with a matching furniture chair. A dining table that would fit eight people situated at the center, and finally to the far right corner was the actual kitchen with an island bar.
Seokjin awed at the mesmerizing layout of this area, it really does suits his taste. Jin proceeded to walk towards the kitchen till he stood in front of the refrigerator that's probably worth one grand. He had many ideas for meals he could cook but once he opened the door, Seokjin eyes widened as he was met with nothing except for a pack of beer inside the fridge. He closed the fridge door and checked the freezer this time but unlike the fridge, the freezer stored nothing at all. Seokjin mentally faced palmed,'how am I suppose to cook anything if the people in this damn place can't even go grocery shopping?!,' he thought. The ticking of the clock on the wall isn't helping as well to the poor boy's growing stress mixed with fear. His head was starting to hurt and Seokjin did all that he could to calm himself down by taking deep breaths. 'Calm down Jin, you don't want to trigger a panic attack do we now,' he said to himself.
He breathed evenly as the pain in his head had subsided. Seokjin had to think fast now, that's when he remembered about the large plantations outside. He also thought that maybe this place also stores animal meat somewhere in the area. He wasted no time and hurried out of the mansion and into the one of the many large gardens. He instantly saw all of the ingredients he needed as he began to harvest them. He looked to his side when something caught his attention, two men carrying a dead cow and pig into one of the broken shacks. Jin then saw an empty basket lying on the dirt, he grabbed it filling the basket up with the vegetables he just harvest and made his way to the shack where the two guys went in.

After convincing the two men to give him some of the meats of the two dead animals, Seokjin quickly made his way back to kitchen while one arm is carrying the basket filled with vegetables, and the other carrying two buckets of fresh meat. Luckily Jin turned his back when the two men were slicing the animals apart so Seokjin didn't have to watch all that mess. He placed the needed ingredients on one of the counters, starting off with the cow meat that was still covered in blood. He washed it thoroughly before proceeding on to the pig meat, and so on to the individuals vegetables.
He hurriedly cutting the beef into thin slices. Seokjin look to his left and thanked the gods there was stand that held different bottles of spices and seasonings. Seokjin took some of the needed bottles and began to mix them together in a bowl. He took the now slices of beef and placed it in the bowl. He walked over to the stove grabbing a pan and poured a bit of sesame oil, he took the bowl making sure to cover the beef completely before placing the slices into the pan.
Seokjin then takes the pork slicing it into thin pieces as well. He grabbed another bowl another bowl mixing some spices and seasoning along with the chili paste to make it spicy. He dumped the slices of pork into the bowl and mixed it thoroughly. The student takes another pan pouring a little of canola oil and then placing bits of the marinated pork onto the sizzling surface. All that is left is cut the vegetables and mix it with the two meals. Before Jin could move on to the greens he took the rice pot filling it up with rice along with cups of water, setting it in the rice cooker and leave it there to cook.
Once Seokjin was done with cooking everything and cleaning up his mess, he set the table by placing a plate on each seat since he doesn't know how many people will he be feeding. Seokjin places all the needed eating utensils before relaxing a bit. Now he just waits for the people who threw him inside this hellhole.
