*The Killer Couple (2.0)
A one shot where Louis and Harry are murders

I pull the older man closer to my face. I could clearly make out the wrinkles on his face. He was older than most of my victims, but age has always been a number to me. That part that I cared about was the act of the cheating.
"Johnny tell me about your wife." I hum as I drag a finger along his cheek. He rolls his eyes and tries to move a hand to my ass, but I grab him. I didn't want him touching me.
"Come on, she means nothing to me. I'm here with you baby, let me take care of ya," Johnny sighs. I knew the only thing he wanted was a quickie and at the rate this was going he was never going to get it.
"Tell me about her. I want to know what I have to beat!" I complain. Johnny moves closer to me smirking. God did I want to pull the smirk off his face.
"Her name is Suzy, we've been married 17 years and we met at a cafe," He spits out. I knew he didn't care about her. I knew he would be one of them. Sometimes the men were lucky and realized that cheating on their wife for a whore like me was stupid. Those ones got to live.
"Do you have a daughter?"
"Yea, her name is Becca, she's 16," He tells me. I knew by the way he talked he didn't want to discuss the matter longer. He wanted his release and I certainly wasn't going to give it to him anytime soon.
"What do you want me to do to you?" I ask him. Standing up and stepping away from the bed that I was laying on. I pull up a chair and sit in it. Slowly unbuttoning my shirt.
"Tie me up," He says. I nod. He was making this so easy on me. He stands and sits in the chair as I stand. I take out my rope and tie his arms tightly against the chair. He thought I liked BDSM, but really I liked when my victims didn't move.
"If you say a word I'm going to make things a lot...harder for you," I sigh as I take a piece of cloth and tie it around his mouth so he couldn't speak. I didn't know why people got off at things like this, but I couldn't really say much since I was about to kill someone.
I pull out my knife and show it to him. His eyes widen and he tries to get free from his chair. I silence him by plunging the knife into his chest; making sure to miss the heart. I quickly step back and peel my outer clothes off.
When the deed is done I put my clothes back on. I couldn't have the clothes getting blood on them or it would be easier to find me and sadly not everyone understood why I did the things I did. They wanted to throw me in jail for murder and I couldn't have that happening.
I take his tie and hang it around my neck as I exit the hotel room. I was always giddy after a murder. One last cheating scumbag in the world was something to be happy over I thought. I give the people working at the desk a wave as I exit.
When I get to the car I take the tie from around my neck and place it on the hook of my rear-view mirror with the others. I was starting to have quite the collection on my hands. I turn the radio up as I start the car.
"Another woman was found dead today. The FBI are being brought in on the case to help find the murder. If you have any leads call us at..."
I roll my eyes. I knew that there was another murder on the loose. Unlike me, he didn't kill to better the world, he did it because he had Mommy issues. It bothered me a little, taking an art form and turning it into a cruel way to get back at someone that's probably already dead. Stupid if you ask me.
I knew the other murder. Well I had seen his face a couple of times and damn he was a cutie. He was smart enough to keep his name from me, but that didn't stop me from trying to figure out who he was. I had thought about going to the police and telling them what I knew, but I had decided against it when I remembered the boy also knew about me and there was no chance I was being turned in.
The other boy was a little older than me with these cool blue eyes. I knew how he managed to lure the girls he killed to him. A simple prearranged date leading to a kidnapping or even something simpler like a can-you-help-me-with-my-car kinda deal, either way he was good at what he did.
My phone beeps. I pick it up and see a restricted number. I was used to them at this point. I accept the call and put the phone to my ear.
"You murdered again," A familiar voice hums. Speaking of the devil. I hate to admit it, but I was glad he called. I found it nice to hear him talking to me; to acknowledge the work I do. The boy liked what I did.
"How do you get your information so fast?" I tease, smiling as I pull off the street. The last thing I needed was to get into a wreck and have them run a background test.
"I have my sources...not really, I counted an extra tie. I like your hair by the way," He says. I start looking around trying to find out where he was. The boy was like a ninja and knew where I was at even before I knew sometimes. I catch him leaning against the side of the store, a disposable phone held to his ear.
"Looks like I've been caught. Mind if I join you?" The boy hums. I shrug, knowing he can see me. I secretly wanted to be near him. I silently beg that this isn't what falling for someone is like.
"I don't know. Depends, are you wearing a tie? If you are than I wouldn't recommend it, for your sake." I sigh, knowing he liked it when we played like this. I hear him chuckle on the other line as he steps into the light like in one of those dramatic movies. He throws the phone to the side and steps on it before walking to my car and tapping on the window.
"Excuse me ma'am, I've seen to have lost my way. Do you mind giving me directions?" Louis says, as I roll down the window. He puts his hand to his head as if he was looking around. I laugh at him.
"Why don't I just drive you there!" I suggest, raising my voice an octave, trying to impersonate one of his victims. He smiles at me as he steps into my car. He shuts the door and turns to me.
"So, my mysterious tie robber has come out of hiding." He says. I smile at him, pointing out the latest tie. He looks at it for a moment before letting it go.
"What about you? You killed again, heard it on the radio." I tell him as I pull out of the parking lot and head back into the street. I didn't know where I was going to go now. I had intended on going home, but I no matter how much I thought I knew the guy, he was still a murder like me, and I was pretty sure my mom told me never to show murders where you lived or something like that.
"Yep, a brunette, her name was Becca or something. Only 16, they keep getting younger. I don't mind their age all that much. The younger they are the easier it is to capture them," He says. I nod, keeping my eyes on the road, "Enough about me. I wanna know about yours. How was it?"
"It was good. He was easy to be quite honest. I mean he even asked to be tied up, stupid," I mutter. Louis laughs. I liked making him laugh. I see a police car zoom by me heading back towards the hotel. I check the time, they probably found the body at this point.
"Can't blame him for wanting you to tie him up. I always wondered what being tied up by you would be like." He says, tapping his chin and looking at me. I roll my eyes. He always teased me. Since I always saw this giddy, joyful side of him I wondered what he looked like when he killed someone.
"It ends with me tearing your heart out and I'm pretty sure you like your heart where it's at," I remind him. He shrugs.
We sit in silence for a while, neither of us knowing what to talk about it. It wasn't like we knew the other well. We only knew that we were both killers. We knew why and who we killed, hell I even knew the secondary location he took the ladies too, but when it came to normal...human things. We were both lost.
"Why don't you tell me your first name or at least a nickname. I want to call you something other than my murder pal to my friends you know?" I ask, wanting to keep the conversation light, but wanting to know more about him.
"You have friends? Thought you would've killed them all." He laughs, "I'm Louis." Louis. It did fit him well. Although I always thought of him as a James kinda guy.
"I'm Harry, in case you wanted to know," I tell him. He smiles at me.
"Harry and Louis. We could be the next Bonnie and Clyde. A murderous couple," Louis suggests. I blush at the thought of him calling us a couple. He couldn't have been serious. I knew that I found the boy charming and rather adorable, but did he find me the same way?
"A team? But we both have different rituals, it wouldn't work. I like killing married men that cheat and you like kidnapping, torturing, and killing random girls you find on the street. We would have to like agree on a way to kill." I huff, seeing like a brat. I turn to him and pucker my bottom lip. I pull the car over, wanting to interact with him more and besides it wasn't like there were many other people here anyway.
"With a cutie like you at my side I would kill anyone and anything. I could torture the men and you can rip their hearts out. You could even be romantic and give me their hearts or even a tie as a birthday gift." Louis suggests, tucking my bottom lip back in. I grab his hand before he can pull it away.
"Do you trust me?" I ask. Louis instantly becomes frightened. His pulse starts to become rapid under his tanned complexion. I didn't mean to startle him, but I understood why he was startled.
"If you promise you aren't going to rip my heart out."
"Are you married?"
"No."
"Then you have nothing to worry about." I reassure him. He seems to calm down a little, but I could sense that he was still a little on edge. I release his wrist only so I was more loosely holding on to it. I unbuckle my seat belt and move towards him more.
"What are you doing?" Louis asks, his voice shaky.
"Well I wanted to kiss you," I admit. He lets out a deep breath and nearly falls into himself with relief.
"Yea, I would like that," He says. I start leaning again, before we touch lips he opens his mouth to talk again.
"Do me a favor and don't tear my heart out yea?" Louis whispers before pressing his lips to mine. I sigh at the feeling of being this close to him. I knew that his victims were this close to him at some point in their torture, hell I was this close to my victims. Both of us have leaned over another person's body and had done terrible things, but those were out of pure hate and loathing. This was...love, I would hope to think.
When we pull back I smile at him, "So Louis, wanna maybe go for some ice cream and maybe talk about killing people?" I ask.
"I like the way you think."

This idea is going to be expanded in my new short book called 'Larry One Shots 2.0'. Check it out and leave some suggestions as to what other one shots you'd like to see expanded into longer short stories! ~B
