Third Person P.O.V.

(Y/n) was never sure when he was regaining his conscience but for the first time he was. He could feel his braining turning on and allowing him to gain control of his stiff muscles. He was warm and well rested and the scent of the ocean flooded his nose like hours before. His memories of last night were fresh. He could feel another warm and shuffling body trapped in his arms beneath the smooth, soft sheets. Lapis's movements weren't fully energized but very lazy which told him that she was still asleep. (Y/n) remembered that Lapis said that she doesn't sleep or rather she can sleep but chooses not too because she doesn't see what good it does her but after what they shared, such a thing was exhausting so how could Lapis not rest.

(Y/n) had gently placed a kiss on Lapis's forehead, not wanting to wake her as she stirred. He took the time to feel her again only this time with a clearer mind. Her skin was as soft as he remembered it, her hair like silk and her body was beautifully slim and fragile. How (Y/n) longed to see her, her thought as he lightly stroked her stomach. That was when although came into his mind. (Y/n) still did not understand Lapis's species. What exactly would happen if Lapis had gotten pregnant. Could she get pregnant. If she did what would they make. Would their child be a gem or hum or both? Exactly how did Steven come to be if he was  a half gem half human being. Were did his mom go (Y/n) had never anted to bring it up but could Rose have died because of child birth issues? If that was the case he didn't want to put something as serious as this onto Lapis, he could never forgive himself. He should have used protection but then again his mind wasn't focused and he really wanted to be with Lapis but that is no excuse. Protection should always come first, his mother stressed that enough regardless if he and Lapis only "did it" once....well multiple times in a night.

Now (Y/n) was very worried. (Y/n) had never expected to be a father someday in the future and he had studied genetics in biology. (Y/n) knew that if he was born blind, the chances of his offspring being bind was 100% because his blindness was hereditary. He'd never wish to give sightlessness to any of his children and more than anything he wanted Lapis around forever, even if they could have kids or not. He would definitely marry her before ay of that. It was the right thing to do and he loved her no doubt. Though (Y/n) didn't realize, Lapis would ease his worries when she awoke.

Lapis's P.O.V.

I had a my first dream and it was a wonderful thing to experience, even if it was weird. I remember (Y/n) and I standing over a bridge of rushing water. We began to float into the sky, higher and higher until we were in space. Bubbles of water circulated around us. I looked towards (Y/n) who had whispered something I couldn't understand before he kissed me and burst into a rainbow. The ending of the dream ultimately made me wake up into reality which was less stupid.

I felt tired, which wasn't often and my body ached a bit but not in an unbearable way. I felt (Y/n)'s arms firmly wrapped around me like before and the memories of that night made me blush.  looked up at (Y/n) upon remembering he couldn't necessarily see me like this but I knew that he knew I was awake. I expected for him to greet me with a "good morning" but what he said to me was unexpected.

(Y/n): I think I may have gotten you pregnant.

He said flatly.

Lapis: What?

I said a bit confused.

(Y/n): But it's fine, having a baby is totally fine-

Lapis: What are you talking about? A baby? You mean like Steven?

(Y/n): Yeah.

Lapis: I can't make another gem. Where would it even come from?

(Y/n): From you....

Lapis: Whatever I need to have in order to carry a human child, I don't have it. If you were to x-ray my body, there isn't anything inside.

(Y/n): Really. Not even organs? How do you even breathe?

(Y/n) said even more confused.

Lapis: Gems don't need to breathe unless we shapeshift lungs or anything else we want to experience having.

(Y/n): That's.....cool.

(Y/n) said as he let out a breathe of air.

Lapis: What's wrong?

I asked him worriedly.

(Y/n): I just didn't want anything to happen to you because of me being careless.

I snorted with laughter.

Lapis: I'm fine.

I told him assuring and his face was happy to here this before turning mischievous.

(Y/n): So...you wanna experience a shower with me.

Lapis: Hmmmm....

I say, teasing him with the long wait of my answer.

Lapis: Can I make you food?

(Y/n): I didn't know you knew how to cook but ok.

Lapis: It's the perfect idea for a meepmorp. My first time making something for you.

(Y/n): Just don't burn the house down.

(Y/n) said before he slid out of bed and into the bathroom. Looking at the edge of the bed, I saw that (Y/n)'s clothes from before were shrew across the bed. I want over to neatly fold them before picking mine off of the floor. I had been wearing this outfit for a long time and the other gems often changed their outfits for current events so I wanted to try it as well. My gem began to glow and my current clothing disappeared as new once formed on my body. I had put on something that reflected off of the way (Y/n) dressed. A puffy blue dress with long sleeves and an apron. A bow was tied neatly behind the backless dress and I also had a bow in my hair. For the third time, I had worn shoes. they weren't particularly a favorite of mine but I actually liked these. I'm sure (Y/n) would like my new look.
