Not knowing how to put it together
To match the situation's delicacy like a feather
And not knowing how to say it to you
Here's a poem, that my feelings drew

And yet again I'm looking for a start
Trying to pull forward a piece of my heart
For what I'm doing is a new to me
You're my sunshine, and always will be

I look back at the times I missed
Shamelessly when your questions- my silence kissed
So while I'm at it, let me correct
To speak it out and resurrect

And you'll never be the right one for me
Because when I broke down, you didn't flee
Held me tight, burned against the sun
So let me just say- You're the one

And why I didn't react when you joked to the leave
Because this horrendous picture my imagination did weave
And I was too shaken to know what to say
Dreading the loss of my rainbow- my life ray

It's surprising how you read me so well
Like an open book, knowing before I tell
And it's your charm that gets me every time
Driving me to search, trying to make this poem rhyme

Let me just say, how blessed I feel
And how beautiful it would be if we could seal
The love that we share, and for the world to see
My Dear Angel, Will You Marry Me?
