Radioactive
After A LOT of begging/threatening his boss that he need sometime off America waltz out of the Oval Office a look of victory clearly present on his handsome face.
America reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone quickly dialing Canada's number.
"Hey Canada you and Mexico at my place now?" The American asked in his usual cheerful voice smiling.
"Yeah, did your boss let you go?" Canada questioned an unusually eager tone in his voice replacing his calm and quiet one.
"Yeah totally dude! Is Mex with you?"
"Yeah he is, by the way what did you tell him to make him let you have a few days off?" The Canadian asked curiously.
"I threatened to graffiti the Oval Office" America said patting his pocket were he had the spray paint in case his boss didn't comply.
Canada just down right burst into a fit of laughter after hearing that. Sometimes he forgot just how crazy his brother is.
"Anyway I'll be there in a gif, m'kay" America said his blond hair blowing in the winds that seemed to be picking up.
"See you then Al, Bye" Canada hung up after that statement leaving America to walking on his own.
TIME SKIP
Alfred finally made it home after that mile long walk. If he was human he would be tired and out of breath, but since he was a nation and a strong one at that he was perfectly fine.
Alfred entered the house and locked the door knowing Matthew and Diego were already inside.
He walked into the living room and saw Canada and Mexico had already pushed the furniture out of the way and set up the equipment. Yeah equipment. He, Matt, and Diego got together when ever they could to play together. Like a band except they didn't play in front of people. It was what their thing and they wanted it to stay that way.
"So you guys ready to do this?!" Alfred exclaimed excitedly.
"Only if your ready to sing hermano (brother)"Diego chuckled giving a small smile towards his older brother. That was how it went America was the singer, Canada was the drummer, and Mexico was the guitarist.
Canada took his seat at the drums and grabbed his sticks. Mexico wrapped the guitar strap around his torso. America slipped off his bomber jacket throwing it on the couch and grabbed the microphone standing with his brothers.
Nodding at the others Alfred started to sing.
"Woah-oh
Woah-oh
Woah-oh
Woah"
Canada started playing the drums and Mexico strummed his guitar. Canada nodded at his brother to continue.
"I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing the chemicals"
America took a deep breath before he continued to sing his heart out.
"I'm breaking in, shaping up then
Checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse - whoa"
There're a lot of things America was good at he could sing, draw, cook and more, but since the other nations Matthew and Diego made it their mission to spend as much time with him as possible to remind him that he was talented and had friends he could count on.
"I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the age"
America was thankful his brothers that his brothers spent time with him despite political differences. He didn't dwell on the thought and just continued to sing.
"Whoa, whoa- I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa whoa- I'm radioactive, radioactive~"
Canada smiled at his little brother. He can be so cute sometimes or more like all the time.
"I raise my flags, dye my clothes
It's a revolution, I suppose
We're painted red to fit right in, whoa~"
If there was one thing Alfred treasured most as a nation was his freedom. He loved being free. It was what made him.. well him. He loved being called the land of the free because it meant his people could be who ever they wanted to be. That was what he loved most about his country.
"I'm breaking in, shaping up then
Checking out of the prison
This is it, the apocalypse-whoa~"
Mexico loved do this with his brothers. They were the only the nations that he could get along with besides Spain. These are the moments he loved and cherished.
"I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age"
For most music is like a hobby or away to express ones creativity. For them it was like therapy almost. It helped them build trust between each other and it meant they could the thing they loved with the people they loved.
"Whoa, whoa- I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, whoa- I'm radioactive, radioactive"
Alfred suddenly went quiet then he sang once more. It was almost like a revolutionary preaching their views. Because that was what it was.
"All systems go, sun hasn't died
Deep in my bones, straight from inside~"
America continued to sing giving it his all.
"I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age~"
After that course the song ended leaving the smiling brothers in its wake. America, Canada, and Mexico all did a three way high-five.
"That was awesome dudes, lets do it again" Alfred said bouncing up and down in Excitement.
And with that the North American brother continued rock out until the sun went down. After that they all passed out on the couch Enjoying each other's company.
Because.
No matter what anyone did no one and I mean no one can separate family.
