Marry You
America had been having a good day. He managed to skip the world meeting and avoid the nations that were most likely looking for him to drag his happy ass back to that hell they call a meeting.
Not today!
Right now he was at the recording studio he frequented and the girl who ran the place had just given him some new lyrics she wanted to he him try out.
The women's name was Tyler; Ty for short. She had long black hair that had red highlights, she had blue eyes like his own, but much lighter that reminded him of Germany's eyes. She was about 5'1 and Alfred towered over her immensely. She had pale skin in contrast to his own sun-kissed. Tyler was in her mid to late twenties and a had opened this recording studio herself.
"Um...Ty don't you think these lyrics are a little..ya know...romantic?" Alfred asked, but his tone was of embarrassment and flushed.
"That's the point Al, I want here you sing something out of your comfort zone with that beauty of a voice you have there~" Tyler said pushing America towards the recording booth a big grin spread across her face.
"Buuuttt, I don't waaaaaaannnnnnaaaaaa" Alfred whined trying to struggle out of the women's grip. Key word; trying. God this women was strong!
After a few more minutes of pointless arguing Alfred finally caved in when Tyler used his own move against him. The PUPPY EYES!
'Done in by my own secret weapon...unbelievable' Alfred thought to himself as Tyler's employees set up the mic and left.
Finally Tyler gave him a thumbs up signaling him to begin to sing.
Doing a few vocal exercises before looking at the lyrics and starting to sing.
"It's a beautiful night
We're looking for something dumb to do
Hey baby, I think I wanna marry you
Is it the look in your eyes, or is it this dancing juice?
Who cares baby, I think I want to marry you~"
Tyler had been working with Alfred for over six months now, and his presence and voice never failed to stun and amaze her whole being.
"Well, I know this little chapel on the boulevard we can go
No one will know
Oh, come on, girl~
Who cares if we're trashed
Got a pocket full of cash we can blow
Shots of Parton
And it's on girl~"
Alfred sang the lyrics with grace and a suggestive tone that completely replaced the nervous one from before.
"Don't say no, no, no, no
Just say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
And we'll go, go, go, go, go
If you're ready like I'm ready.."
Alfred paused taking a moment to clear his throat, before continuing to sing.
"...Cause it's a beautiful night
We're looking for something dumb to do
Hey baby, I think I want to marry you
Is it the look in your eyes, or is it this dancing juice?
Who cares baby I think I want to marry you, oh~"
Tyler truthfully, didn't know much about Alfred F. Jones. The only things she knew were that he loved to sing and that he loved McDonalds. That's about it.
"I'll go get a ring, let the choir bells sing, like ooh~
So what do you want to do?
Let's just run girl
If we wake up and you want to break up, that's cool
No, I won't blame you
It was fun, girl~"
Alfred was starting to get into it even closing his eyes to concentrate more on the song and it's rhythm.
"Don't say no, no, no, no, no
Just say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
And we'll go, go, go, go, go
If you're ready, like I'm ready"
Alfred never even told Tyler where he was from he just said "I'm from everywhere and nowhere, that's all I can say" Cryptic bastard.
"Cause it's a beautiful night
We're look for something dumb to do
Hey baby, I think want to marry you~
Is it the look in your eyes, or is it this dancing juice?
Who cares baby, I think I want to marry you"
Alfred, who was figuring that the climax of the song was near decided to deepen his tone a little more for effect.
"Just say, "I do..."
Tell me right now baby
Tell me right now baby, baby
Just say "I do..."
Tell me right now baby
Tell me right now baby, baby~"
America, noticing the last bit of lyrics lowered his voice for more effect. Tyler didn't know how he did that. Answer; Hollywood.
"Oh, it's a beautiful night
We're looking for something dumb to do
Hey baby, I think I want to marry you
Is it the look in your eyes, or is it this dancing juice?
Who cares baby, I think I want to marry you~"
With that the song ended and Tyler and her employees clapped for Alfred, who blushed at the praise. Not like he was used to receiving any. Cough*Nations*Cough.
After that Al talked with Ty for awhile before Alfred decided to head back to the hotel the nations where staying at thank god the meeting was in New York.
Then he avoided anyone he knew cared enough to ask questions before passing out on his bed clothes be damned.
