Good bye
Lances pov
The first thing I feel is...well ironically it's nothing. I don't feel anything. My torso is numb, there is slight feeling in my hands and face, but other then that I feel blindingly hot burning numbness.
The only thing not numb was my heart which I could feel moving rapidly in my chest along with my laboured breathing.
I open my eyes and see blurs, I blink a few times and slowly the blurs become a person.
"Lance thank god your awake."he says kneeling over me. Why would I not be awake. I go to say 'what's going on'
But my laboured breathing made it come out like
"Wh-what..." the words erupt from my throat breathily and weak sounding.
"Almost there"I hear pidge in my helmet, to which Keith responds.
"Good. Hang on lance."he says. I don't understand what's going on, where are we, why am I on the ground, why can I not feel anything.
I feel a new weight add onto my eyelids, like a child trying its hardest to tug at a mothers shirt for attention so too dose the child tug on my eyelids but instead to close them. The weight from my eyelids spread to my skull and closing them just for a few seconds didn't seem to terrible. Slowly I start to close them before a frantic noise makes Them stop.
"No lance! Stay awake, come on!"Keith's frantic voice shouts as he shakes me, I could only tell by the quivering movement of my eyesight for I can't feel anything.
And now, a ringing enters my ears, it keeps all other noises at a distance making them muffled, the noise is so loud it's almost painful.
"I'm....tired..."I manage to to murmur out and feel my eyelids close even more.
3rd persons POV
Soon his eyes closed as Keith tried everything in his willpower to keep the blue boy awake, but his attempts were futile.
Little did lance know, that the next time he opened his eyes he would be looking over them all, watching from a distance.
He never knew he was dying.
And he never got to say good bye.
