I haven't given up on these books ok so here's the next chapter :)

Previous Chapter- I met Dick halfway in the living room where he had his flashlight on a symbol that was carved under her coffee table but also it was on a piece of mail that had a different envelope. "Look familiar to you" I looked at it confused before opening the letter fully "maybe...". He looks at it is eyes widening "you mean" I turn to him "This is their doing...his doing".

He sighed walking closer to me "we should tell the other about him and your journey away from here" I look away keeping silent he softly grabbed my chin making me look at him "It might be for the best Y/N" I grabbed his arm "it's bad enough you know about him and have had an encounter with him he knows our faces now, I don't wanna get everyone else involved...but if I keep this to myself and they find out miss bitch will never let me live it down". He chuckled at my nickname for barbara then wrapped his arms around my waist "then how bout-" he cut got off my his communicator going off so I chuckled and he groaned while answering "yes".

I looked at him he sighed before hanging up "we're needed somewhere else" I nod and we both go down to the ground floor again and get ready to leave. We were both walking down the alleyway where we parked his bike when I saw something strange on the wall I went for a closer look "what's wrong" I turned to Dick before turning my sights back to what I was seeing. It looked like a symbol. "Dick.. it's their symbol, and it looks newly put here like a few minutes put here" he came behind me "you mean they were just here" I nod he sighed and pulled me to the bike "come on let's get out of here before they decide to show up" I nod getting on behind him.

Time Skip

We both came to a building making me look at DIck confused "I thought you said the bats called us somewhere" he chuckled before getting off and helping me off "yes he did, here" He started walking in I followed behind him till I caught up "when you said somewhere else I thought he meant ya know like loud and guns ya know dangerous. He shook his head but kept walking until he got deep into the halls of this building, we started to hear some different rough voices so I looked at him he nodded and we peeked into the room then got a sight of Jason and the others hiding throughout the room some and Dick stayed out the door and I watched his back incase other goons showed up. 

"So what should we do about this group moving in on our territory" some groaned "we can't just let this slide if he thinks he can just come in this city and act like the king he's got another thing coming." I roll my eyes 'whoever he is he will take over you goons easy'.

Their conversation continued but was cut off by a voice "pathetic" Dick turned to me so put my head down but then I heard screaming and gunfire so we took cover until it ceased "I know you there" I froze I felt Dick's arm slip around me so I looked at him he kept listening "are u sure you can keep acting like a hero, what happens when these people find out who u really are". I look around "reveal yourself".

 I heard a deep chuckle followed by some footsteps so I ran to the center of the building we were in seeing all of the goons knocked out cold "Siren don't" I stopped in the center after hearing Dick call for me then looked into the shadows "come out already might as well make it equal for us both" I heard some more footsteps then show him appear my eyes widen when he looked at me "..V/N" (This is his real name he doesn't go by a code name but I don't wanna give him a name like jeff so lol just put an enemy here or something).

"So you go by siren now" I felt Dick come up behind me "very protective of little Y/N aren't you" I put an arm in front of Dick "don't" be backed up a bit "I have a good assumption of why you've come looking for me but what do you plan to do". I saw him let out a small smirk "good at least you know what you did, I have come to do that same thing to you" I glared at him "like hell I would let you do that" he shrugged "I guess we will find out" I glared at him " it won't be happening so I suggest you go home" he chuckled and turned around walking back into the shadows "I don't think I will take my leave just yet".

After that he was gone so I turned to Dick he looked at me worried I sighed "It will be fine" crates started moving as they all came out "what exactly is happening" I looked away from them "I think it's time we told them" I nodded as we all started to head back to the cave.

Time Skip

"So let me get this straight, you used to work for this dudes organization until you got his dad locked up and now he's out to get you" I shake my head at Jay sighing "yes pretty much he's not gonna stop until he ruins me by fear...it's ironic actually" I felt Dicks arm slide around me. I leaned on him a little more "we will get him don't worry". Finally, Bruce speaks up "do you think scarecrow might have anything to do with him now that he's in town" I gasp and turn to him "my father would never team up with someone he doesn't know, he's not like that" Dick tightens his grip on me "you still care about him he used you all those years".

 I turn to glare at Barbra "Barbra knock it off" I pull away from Dicks grasp "well excuse me but we all can't have caring biological parents but he never used me.. He treated me like his own and made sure I was safe until I learned to protect myself...but I wouldn't expect you to understand that" I head to the stairs to go and calm myself down upstairs.

Dick's P.O.V

I turn my gaze away from Y/N's retreating form and back to Barbra "how could u say that to her" she rolls her eyes "she was raised by villains Dick and she misses that life she missed a criminal" I shake my head "Y/N has never had her parents they abandoned her she's never had anyone to care for her like that scarecrow might be a villain but he's never hurt her, he's the closest thing to a dad she's got think about that next time you wanna yell at her".

I start to head upstairs to find her before Tim speaks up "Maybe we can see if scarecrow could be of use he might help us find future targets and help them before this guy gets them, he should keep files on the people of Gotham's fears" I nod and continue upstairs till I head to my room and open the door so see he cuddled on my bed "are u ok". 

She looks up at me and opens her arms making me chuckle. I crawl over and pull her to my chest and she snuggles into me making me sigh "so?" she looks up at me "I'm fine I just..I miss him" I run my hands through her hair "u might be seeing him again very soon" she jumps up "really?" I nod with a small smile "Time made a good point that he might have files that will help us catch this guy" she nods "he keeps files on people's fears..why didn't I think of that" I shake my head while wrapping my arms around her waist from behind "so what do ya say, family reunion?" she nods leaning back into me "that would be perfect".

Time Skip

Y/N's P.O.V

We all talked and figured we should all go and Barbra just agreeing to go to see if I'll betray them. We all are standing on a building looking out "do you have any idea where he might be" I look back at Bruce and sigh "it's been years...I don't know if he's moved all his things or.. If only I could reach Riddler he would probably have an idea" It goes silent "scarecrow hasn't been active for a few years just so you know".

 I look back at them in shock "he hasn't" I look at Dick he nods "it's been 5 years since we heard anything from him or seen him". I process that thinking back before something clicks " I think I might know where he is" I turn to them and they look at each other before we all begin to the destination.

We end up at a very familiar warehouse making me smile, Dick comes behind me placing a hand on my waist "good memories" I nod "this is where I grew up after he took me and before I went to live with the Joker" I look down and look to see there's a keypad on the door I tilt my head before laughing and crying in the numbers. It unlocks so I chuckle and push the door open looking back at the rest of them "how did you know the code" I look at Tim before looking back down "its my birthday.. He always said 'no one will ever guess, your the perfect secret'".

 I go in and they follow behind me until the lights come on I look around 'it still looks the same "it looks very homey in here for a warehouse" I laugh at Jason's comment before going further "who's there" I freeze and we all turn to see him there will a needle so I shake my head walking closer "I don't' know what you're doing but I haven't done anything wrong you have no right" I grab the needle but he holds onto it tighter "Siren" I don't' look back at Dick when he calls "Nightmare serum" he looks at me.

"Yes to protect myself" I chuckle "but I thought you said only sweet dreams for me" his grip loosens before dropping the syringe and pulling me into a hug I laugh and hold on tighter "I missed you.. I'm sorry I left with only a call" he rubs my back "it's alright child" we both pull away and I felt DIck wrap his arms around me from behind "are you ok" I nod and nuzzle against him before pulling back giving him a smile "perfectly fine" I look back over to see him giving me a small smile "so what did you need my sweet child" I look back at DIck before looking back at him "Sorta need a look at your files, old times sake"
