It was like the worst nightmare for the twins. They were surrounded by gigantic spiders. It has eight eyes and eight hairy limbs. They can see their own reflection on its multiple eyes. Its sticky saliva sticking out of its fangs eager to eat the prey they've cornered. The other spiders started forming web from its abdomen. The twins knew there was no escaping from it. Just when they thought it couldn't get any worse, dark smoke started clouding their vision. Inhaling it made the twins felt like their energy was being drained. "Are we going to die now?" Conner asked while trying to keep his balance. "I.. am so tired, I feel so.... sleepy." The last thing he said before he collapsed to the ground. "Conner.." Alex called who also started feeling drowsy. "It's the smoke... It's making..us... sleepy." Before she could finish saying her last word she quickly followed her brother in his exhaustion.

When they were finally laying on the ground, motionless but still conscious, the smoke started withdrawing. Unfortunately, the spiders didn't seem affected at all by the smoke. For the second time, they were again laying on earth, but instead of looking at the sky they were looking at the spiders ready to devour them. They can't move a muscle but their eyes were still open and aware of what's happening. And when they thought it'll be their final moments in life, to be consumed alive by huge spiders, a black hooded man suddenly came in front of them and started slashing the spiders. The man was agile and skilled, it didn't took him much effort and time killing all the spiders. It was so swift that right after killing all the spiders, he quickly glanced at the twins before running away. Though it was a bit fuzzy, Alex saw everything. She saw the man looking at her before her eyes finally went shut.

Alex didn't know where she was. It was a clear night. The moon and stars were the only source of light. She was standing in the middle of the forest somewhere along the shore of a lake. It was glimmering as the moon reflects its light on the water. At not so distant she saw the black hooded man walking away from her.

"Who are you?" She asked the black hooded man. "...and why did you save us?" Alex intrigued the man who was calmly walking away into the forest.

"You'll know very soon enough." he replied with a deep voice.

"But wait! I haven't had the chance to see your face" She tried to call him, but he just continued walking. "I would just like to thank you for saving our lives." she said before the man completely disappeared from her vision.

"Alex! Wake Up!" She heard her brother's voice.

And the world started fading in front of her eyes. When it was just completely nothing, Alex finally woke up. "Hey Alex! Are you okay?" her twin was trying to wake her up. "Yes, I am fine." She gently sat up from the ground. She realized it was just a dream and decided to set aside her thoughts about the hooded man. She looked around and they were still in the forest. The trees were so huge and thick that little light passes through its leaves. "What happened?" She asked. "I think we fell asleep out of exhaustion, you wouldn't believe what I dreamed of." Conner explained and continued. "I dreamed of spiders, not ordinary, but giant spiders! and we were cornered by... I think six giant spiders and they were about to attack us when whoop! I woke up from that nightmare. I swear I thought it was real and that we're gonna die. I am so glad it was just a dream." he was panting while telling her that horrible dream of his. Alex calmly listened at his brother but she knew it wasn't just a dream.

"Then, how would you explain.. that?" and she pointed at the dead spiders laying on the ground not far from them. Upon seeing the dead arachnids, Conner froze for a moment before he grabbed her sister and ran as fast as he can. "Somebody! Help us!" He screamed. He was so scared he let go of his hold on his sister and left her behind.

"Conner wait! The spiders are already dead. Stop running!" Alex tried catching up on him.

He abruptly stopped running, but not because of his sister, it was because of the group of people approaching them.

"Alex look, there are people." he said while panting. "Maybe they can help us." The twins started waving at the group but their action made the strangers stop at their tracks.

"Daro!" The auburn haired woman called out at the twins.

"What? Sorry, I don't think I understood that!" Conner replied, slowly walking towards them.

"She said stop! And do not move!" The one with white golden hair said and the twins did stop. The group of strangers started walking slowly, spreading out towards them. When they were near enough, the twins realized the people were pointing their bows loaded with arrows at them. They completely froze and raised their hands.

"We mean no harm, we're lost and we're only looking for help" Alex quickly explained.

"You are fools! How dare you enter our forest!" The other guy bawled at them. There were five men and one woman, all wearing the same type of garments. All of the men except for one have long black hair. The woman has a natural auburn wavy hair and was the shortest in height. The last man who was different has white golden hair. It was by then the twins realized the people they were talking to were not completely humans. Though they looked a lot like a normal person, these people have pointy ears. The twins assumed those were only mutations.

"Tell us, what have brought you here?" The guy whose aside from being armed with bows and arrows, a long white knife also hanged by his side. He is a strange handsome man with long golden hair and has crystal blue eyes. You can tell he is different just by his physical appearance.

"I know this sounds ridiculous but we really just woke up here and decided to get help in this forest." Alex explained. "We are telling the truth. Please don't eat us." Conner added starting to feel scared. The men looked at them puzzled, still aiming their bows. "Search the forest, they couldn't possibly have traveled alone." said the strange guy. The woman went on the search and two men followed her. "Why can't you believe us?" Conner asked the remaining men. "Because you couldn't possibly, in all places, have ended lost here in this cursed forest. Your story doesn't make any sense." The strange man answered him. "Cursed forest?" Conner asked and the men just gave him confused looks.

"None of this makes any sense to us. Could you just tell us where we are, so maybe me and my brother can have the slightest idea how to get home?" Alex asked. The strange handsome guy looked baffled at first before he answered in a serious tone. "You are in Mirkwood of Woodland Realm, home of the wood elves ruled by the King Thranduil."

"Did you just say elves? You are elves?" Conner asked and then laughed. He couldn't believe what he just heard. "Yes and what is so funny with that?" The other elf replied while glaring at him.

"No, nothing" he said, smiling slightly before he faced his sister.

"Alex, now I'm convinced we are really dreaming. I can't wait to tell this to grandma when we wake up" In an instant, his fear was replaced with excitement. However, his sister wasn't listening to him. She was gently taking in the information. Something lighted within her upon hearing the King's name. It's as if she knows something about the place.

"I appreciate your answer to our question, but where are we generally? Somewhere in Pacific? Asia? America? Europe?" she asked.

"I have never heard any of it before." the strange elf replied.

"Told you. We are not on Earth." Conner said to his sister with a grin on his face still believing everything was just a dream. "Now that's very away from home." she replied.

The auburn haired elf came running back with the other two elves. "Legolas, we found several dead giant spiders nearby, all killed by an unknown weapon." She reported to the strange elf before locking her eyes at the twins.

Legolas faced and aimed his bow at them. "Seize them!" he ordered.
