~~Ash POV~~

After getting back to the house, we quickly went to bed to get some sleep. The next morning, everyone was eating some breakfast and talking about what to do for the day when a strong gust of wind nearly blew everything off the table. Looking outside the Manor we see a big Pokemon landing, these Pokemon was definitely just as large as Gracia. It landed on the ground and leaned down until someone got down, the Pokemon yawned before laying down in the grass. It was huge, a large tiger-like Pokemon. 

"Yo Nix, been a while," Doc stood up and walked outside to greet the tall man covered in black. 

"Yes, it's been a while. I found two Pokemon. Could you take a look at them to make sure they're okay?" Nix asked Doc, Doc smiled and walked over to the big Pokemon without any fear. Nix was greeted by an excited Kat, who lept on his back. Bring him to the ground, they both were giggling in happiness to seeing each other. "I missed you, Katty."

"I miss you too, Nixy." They hugged each other and much to Brock's face, he was so sad that Kat was already taken. 

"Nix, you found them! Where?!" Doc shouted as he continued to look at the Pokemon.

"In a trap high the Calicos Mountains, hunters weren't far behind. If it wasn't for Thundis then I wouldn't have been able to get the female out." Nix stood up with Kat still clinging him, purring like a cat. Doc frowned and slowly took out a small creature that had its back legs bandaged. When Doc took one out another one came out and leaped on Doc's shoulder. Doc came inside and headed to the infirmary. 

"This is another Guardian, Nix. He and Thundis go out to find endangered Pokemon of rare species. The creatures Doc is carrying are Ursus Lilium's or known as Lily Bears. Endangered and were said to already be gone but these two might as well be the last mating pair in the world." Kat said as she followed Doc with us all. He placed the injured one on a bed to check her out. 

"The wounds are slightly deep but I can fix her up where she'll be walking in no time." When he went to touch her leg, she cried out and that caused the male to swap at him. The male was growling as he protected his mate. "I can't help her if he doesn't move." 

No one could get him to move, even Pikachu tried to talk to him but he wasn't listening. That's when something opened the door, looking back I see the same woman from last night. This time she looks slightly scarier in the daylight. She didn't say a word, all she did was walk over to the male. He wasn't growling, in fact, he was calm and just watching her. Reaching out her hand, she touched his head and he began to purr. She reached out and picked him up, moving aside Doc slowly moved towards the female. Quickly he started working on her legs until her legs were cast and she was resting on the bed. The lady set the male down and he went over to her, curling around to lay with her.

"Thanks a lot," Doc said as he started cleaning up. "He wouldn't have move if it wasn't for you. Been awhile since we've seen you too. Seems like everyone is coming home." The lady looked towards the pair and sighed.

"I'm only here to check up on things, something seems to have upset some of the water Pokemon that guard the island." Her voice was calmer this time, she seemed more concerned about the Pokemon than anything else.

"I could be a ship that passed by the island a few nights ago, Thundis brother Ligis seemed to be on his toes when we arrived this morning. He said that a ship got to close so he and some of the other Pokemon had to scare them off."

"So that means that it was some Pokemon that we saw. We were on the ship heading to another country when the ship was attacked." Dawn spoke for the first time today.

"They are quite friendly but they were just protecting their home. Sorry guys, they really meant no harm. They only wanted the ship away." Kat was right, a Pokemon saved me and Pikachu that night so I know that they weren't trying to hurt us.

"Wait, where is the ship?" Brock asked Kat shrugged.

"Probably at the place they were heading too. The Pokemon only pushed them into an ocean current. We didn't know that people had been pushed off the side and into the water. But from what you've all said, the Pokemon saw you were in trouble and helped you to the island." Kat was right, the Pokemon saw us and helped save us. The lady closed her eyes and walked towards the door. "Hey, wait please." She stopped and looked back. "Ash, when we met you had asked who Nova is, well," she pulled the lady back. "This is she, Ash, Dawn, and Brock. This is Nova Star, the leader of the Guardians and the one who has been guarding this island longer than anyone else." My jaw dropped in shock, this lady is their leader?!

"Kat, don't tell people our personal information," she sighed in annoyance. 

"I'm not, don't worry Nova. These kids are not a threat to the Pokemon or the island. Even Gracia likes Ash." 

"Doesn't matter Kat, we need to protect the Pokemon on this island with our lives." She walked towards the door then stopped. "There's someone else on the island and the Pokemon are moving towards it. Thundis, go and capture whoever it is." Thundis gave out a call before running towards the forest. "Was there anyone else that fell off the ship?" She glared at us like we knew who else it could be.

"We don't know Ms. Nova, honest." Dawn was getting scared. Nova sighed and looked outside as Thundis came back holding someone by their clothes, they were hanging from his mouth. Everyone walked outside as Thundis stopped walking and dropped the person, the hit the ground with a thud. Nova walked over with scarier face than before. The dust cleared as someone is coughing trying to fix his jacket. 

"Who are you?" Nix asked as he grabbed the guy by his dress shirt.

"My name is Xavier North, I'm a Pokemon researcher that looks for new species around the world." He said as he was finally able to stand up, he was slightly taller then Nix, he had short white hair with a single black mark on the side of his head. Nix released him to be replaced by Nova. She stepped into Xavier's view, he saw her and was completely captured by her. He looks into her eyes and I see something, his eyes glow a blue color before returning to normal. He came up to her and bowed his head. "I'm sorry for intruding on your land but I'm afraid that I couldn't stay on that raft forever." he kept his head low until Nova touched his shoulder.

"No need to apologize Mr. North. You weren't the only one that was forced onto the island," he looked up at me and my friends, he nodded his head. 

"Still, I am an intruder on your land. But I must ask, what kind of Pokemon is this one behind me?" He was talking about Thundis.

"He is a Tigris Tonitrua or Thunder Tiger, he is the last male of his kind and we've been searching for a female." Nova actually answered his question, everyone was shocked.

"Interesting. He is young but strong for his age. Have you tried searching in thunderclouds?" 

"Yes, many storms we've gone through to find any sign of a female but still nothing." Xavier nodded his head and grabbed his sketchbook. He started flipping through it until he came to a stop. He notion Nova to come over and see, she was shocked. "You found another Thunder Tiger?" 

"Yes, I was on the coast looking for some new water Pokemon when out of nowhere something came falling down from the clouds, the impact caused me to go flying into the water. When I came back out, the Pokemon was hurt from a battle so I carefully patched it up while it was unconscious. Good thing it was too because when it did wake up, I was blasted back into the water." He stood close to Nova and she let him, the lady that scared me so much that I couldn't stand. She was letting him close and it was strange behavior for her friends to see. 

"Do you know if it was male or female?" 

"I can only assume what gender because I've never seen the two close together but no seeing a male, I can tell you, it was a female." Nova actually smiled in joy.

"Could you tell us the location and we can see if we can't find her, you might have been able to patch her up but her wounds would still be serious." He nodded his head and wrote down a location, Nix took it. 

"I can get there in two days, it'll take me a few more days depending on the weather." Nix started to get ready for his trip, this time Kat said she would be going with Gracia. Nix didn't refuse, in fact, he smiled.

"Leave as soon as you can, how long ago did you see her?"

"About a few days ago, she might still be there. I didn't see another male so I don't think she's mated yet." Nix nodded and mounted Thundis as Kat got onto Gracia's back. They left soon after, running through the forest before hitting the water, we saw them leaping into the sky as they were flying. 

Everyone went inside, Xavier was given a room for the moment so he could see the other Pokemon on the island. We couldn't leave because the ship was gone and we wouldn't know which direction to go in. Looking at Nova and Xavier talk was kinda weird, she wasn't talking let alone smiling earlier. Something about him makes her happy as if she wants him around. When night time comes everyone is eating dinner, all but Nova. She had vanished out of nowhere, no one knew where she was. Not even Doc, though he didn't seem worried. Like she had done this kind of thing often. Everyone was eating dinner when a sound was heard from outside, Dawn opening the window and gasped. Everyone walked over to see a whole bunch of water Pokemon was walking/dragging their bodies towards the Manor. 

"They normally come every week for a check-up but since the sun dries them out too quickly. They normally will come here at night." Doc walked outside with some bags as he began to inspect the Pokemon. 

Everyone went outside to see the other new types of water Pokemon. Once most of the Pokemon were waiting, we walked around seeing the Pokemon. One Pokemon moved past the others, it was bigger and wider. Doc smiled at this one. "This is Mo, he is a Maris Equi or Sea Horse. He is one of the protectors for the island by water, he and Avi." He started his check-up by having Mo opening his BIG mouth. He started checking Mo's teeth, everyone just watched.
