Chapter 3
~~Unknown~~
Watching Kat speak to the young boy was uninteresting to me so I walked away, going through the crowds of Pokemon in the field. Some licked my hands, I walked through the forest where some young Light Flys were learning how to dive. I walked past them and headed deep into the forest until I was at the place to find her, she came out and sat on the rocks and waited for me to start. So I took out my violin and began to play. The Song of the Night.
~~Ash POV~~
When we reached the house, I saw a familiar Pokemon. It was Piplup. Pikachu went running towards. Dawn and Brock were here and they were okay. They said that they washed up on shore and were found by Calveris, also known as Doc who was checking on some water Pokemon. Doc came over and checked on Pikachu and me, he said there was nothing wrong with us so we were going to live. While eating a small Pokemon came over and took some of my food, it hopped down from the table and ran out the door. Kat and Doc laughed.
"That was a Mus Lignum," I looked at her in confusion. "A Tree Mouse." I smiled, everyone started laughing so I looked down to find a whole bunch of Tree Mice standing by the table waiting for food. Everyone started laughing and handed them some food, they ran off all happy.
A few hours later, we were in our room. Pikachu sat on the window looking out, I walked over to him. He was looking up at something and when I looked up and saw nothing but I did hear something. It was low but I could still hear it. Pikachu and I went out to find it and whatever was making it.
Play song here, you can listen first instead of reading. I wanted the readers to feel and envision the scene as I did. Power and soul are coming from this melody.
Pikachu was leading as we walked through the forest, following the sound of something. As we got closer it became more clear, it was an instrument. Maybe a violin. We got closer to hear it become stronger, we felt so much power and emotion coming from the sound. Whoever was playing was playing with force and strength. We got closer to we noticed that there were Pokemon standing still, listening to the melody. Like it was something to worship. We found some vines, slowly pushing them aside. There was a woman standing in the field of flowers, playing the violin in the moonlight. We watched her, seeing the wind blow her long black hair. When it flowed, her hair looked like it sparkled, like stars were in her hair. When she stopped playing the wind stopped moving, time seemed to freeze. Until she looked up taking in the light, she opened her eyes and looked over at us. She started to glare at us.
"This is sacred grounds and you thought you can just walk onto it?" My legs shook from her intense look. I couldn't even talk, I couldn't look away from her eyes. Pikachu seemed to sense my fear and stood in front of me. She looked down at him and sighed. "Fine. Leave, go back to your room." She turned around and walked into the forest, once she was gone I was finally able breath. I fell to the ground, Pikachu came over and touched my hand.
"That lady was really scary, buddy," I sighed standing up I looked around, scared grounds? I wonder what these grounds are to this island? And I'm wondering where she's going? I shook my head and started walking back to the manor.
~~Unknown~~
While playing for her, everything was silent and in peace. When I was done, I lowered my violin and let the moonlight shine down upon me. That's when I sensed someone watching me, it wasn't a Pokemon either. I looked over and saw the same boy from earlier today, the one with Kat. He stood there in shock as anyone else would, I spoke to him and he got scared of me. Makes sense, most people are afraid of me when they first meet me. I do have a power aura around me, I just it as a defense against people who may want to become my enemy. They always cower away once feeing my power. This boy was no different, his Pokemon, on the other hand, wasn't afraid. In fact, he tried to stand up against me. I sighed as I heard his voice speak to me, I turned around and walked into the forest. Wanting to make sure that the boy wasn't going to touch anything or cause the sacred ground to become tainted. I climbed into a tree and watched the boy, he fell to the ground. He said something about me being scary, I grinned. Watching him I felt something come down from a tree branch and sit on my shoulder, pushing her head through my hair. She stroked her head against my cheek, I scratched her head. The boy left and I continued to watch the grounds, Stella stuck her head up before flapping her wings. She blew my hair in front of my face, I gave her a look which only made her smile. We climbed down and walked to the Shrine, I was hoping that the boy nor his friends come anywhere near the shrine.
