Episode Five: Watch Me.

(A/N I apologize immensely, this was written on my IPod! Sorry!!)
POV Dream

My hearing was muffled, and hazed, but a lot seemed to be happening. There were a lot of voices that I didn't recognize. They all seemed to be flecked with different accents. Two Mexican, one Asian, and one southern. Where am I?

"Oh shit, I think she's up," The southern voice sounded like butter in my ears. It was really soft, and gentle, but she sounded quite scared like I was going to hurt her.

"Faster she gets up, the faster she can get out of here," One of the Mexican ones said. Nice people.

"Carlos, you have no reason to talk like that after what you tried to pull this morning." The soft, quit Asian lady smiled.

Then everyone went silence, as my eyes slowly peeled open, to face where ever the hell I was just brought to.

Everyone drew silent as soon as I looked. There was one with burning red hair, one Mexican, and a daughter, one teenage boy, one quite And one quite Asian lady.

"How are you feeling darling?" The red haired one asked.
I remained silent
"Not much of a talker, are you?" She asked.
"No, I just don't know what to say," I spoke up, getting ready to burst up, but there was a pain radiating through my entire body, mainly in my legs.
"Ow!! What the fuck?!" I screamed, hunching down, and wrapping my long fingers around my thigh, that was Claud in a thick, handmade cast.

"Do you not remember anything that happened to you?" The Mexican asked.

"Is there a reason I should be worried?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Maybe. You don't know who we are!" He said defensibly.

"You also don't know who I am, yet here I am." I said, trying to let the tears sink into my head, and not Coke sliding down my face.

"You aren't staying, get this through your head right now." The teenager shook while he spoke. He's not going to be hard to pry open.

"Who ever said I wanted to stay?! I want to leave as soon as possible! My sister needs my help, but I'm suck in a fucking camp with people I don't even know!" I yelled, as I heard some leaves crunching. I put my hand on my thigh, where I usually keep my 22, but I didn't feel it there. But it's always good to be prepared.
Although I didn't see my gun, what I saw was the worlds most handsome man ever. He had one eye that was ocean blue, while the other was covered with something. He was strongly built, with muscles bulging in every direction, and teeth more white than heaven itself. He didn't not seem too happy though.

"Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you." He said, in a calm, but stern voice. I instantly lowered my hand, and just looked at him. I noticed that the Mexican man started to get very fidgety.

"Do we know who this girl is yet?" The little girl standing by who I'm assuming her dad asked, looking up to the man. He slightly smiled down to her.

"No. And I don't  really care either. But we are going to treat her as one of our own for now. We need to start supper, and we'll discuss what needs to happen. Get going." He seemed to be in great pain, as he hobbled back to his little tent. I felt really bad for him, but I'm really concerned about Scar right now, I can't imagine what is going through her little head right now, she's my baby. All of the people who were surrounding me, all went off to do their designated duties, while leaving me in a table, to sit, and wonder what the hell happened to me. I looked around, watching everyone slave like worker bees, I figured I had some time to myself.

I clasped my bloody hands together, closed my eyes tightly, and started to talk no my head.

"Um, hello God. As you know, I am in quite the pickle. I, I really don't care what happens to me, but please, PLEASE watch over Scarlet, and momma. I really want them to make it through all of this, even if i don't, please make sure they do. Thank you, Amen." I felt my eyes start to well up with tears as I started to talk about momma. I haven't seen her in so long, I still want her to be ok. And fucking Scarlet. Why would she do that? I really feel like I've failed momma, which I promised I wouldn't. I wiped a tear that dribbled out of my eye.

"Hey, I know you probably went going to get much sympathy over here, I know how hard this is on you kids. I have no idea what you've been through, but I just want you to know, you have someone to talk to, not only God, whom you should always turn to first, but also me." The red head smiled, scaring me, as her thin hand rested on my knee.

"Thank you so much mam. I really have no idea how much of a burden I am, I will leave as soon as I can, I promise." I said, trying to fling the tears off of my Face. Which was getting hotter by the seconds I'm so embarrassed.

"Hey, there is no reason to be nervous. We are all really nice here, we just need some time to warm up to you, that's all." She smiled.

"Thank you so much mam. And thank you for taking me in too. I, I know I'm a mess."

"Oh shush Hun. You're perfectly fine! I promise you." She laughed.

"Hahha! Well thank you mam. Might I say, you have a very sweet speaking voice. Are you southern?" I asked.

"I am actually! Hah! And at tonight's supper meeting, we will go over all the basics! Well, I should probably get back to supper before It burns! Haha! Take it easy honey." She smiled, patting my knee, and then returning back to her large cooking kettle. She made me feel a hell of a lot better.
I laid my head back on the rough bed that I was laid on, trying to let my eyes rest, and clear my mind.

Just as I was about to doze off into a sleep, there was a gentle tug on my sleeve. I looked down into the dark brown eyes of a little girl, holding a dirty piece of paper.

"Hello!" I smiled to her. She looked to be around Scar's age.

"Um, hi! My name is Ruth! I, um, I drew you a picture! Do you want to see it?"' She asked, with hope overwhelming her voice. I instantly felt 135% better.

"Of course!" I put my long fingers under neath her little arms, and hoisted her up onto the bed with me. She snuggled in close to my good leg, and started to show me what she drew.

"See? There is you, and here is me!" She smiled, showing me two stick figures holding hands, with one having a missing leg.

"Haha! This is great Ruth! You are very talented!" I genuinely smiled to her, and her little eyes lit up.

"SUPPERS DONE! MEET BY THE HOSPITAL BED!" The nice Southern lady called out, while everyone went to go get food. I looked at the hard ground below me. Now or never Dream. I started to get situated on the edge of the bed, and was about to drop off, but a large hand placed itself on my shoulder.

"What are you doing woman?" The teenager asked me.

"I was going to move, man!" I said, trying to get off still.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to call you woman, but you have a broken leg, and are expecting to walk?" He asked me, blushing.

"Well, yeah. I'm not helpless, I don't want to be a burden." I said, looking, he had very beautiful eyes, but he quickly darted away From mine, typical teenage boy.

"Hey, don't say that. I'm, I'll go get you food, and bring it over to you. You aren't a burden!" He said, as he walked over, and grabbed two bowls. Some of these people are really nice actually.

Once everyone had their bowls, they came back to the bed, and surrounded me. The teenager stepped over the quiet Asian lady, and placed the streaming stu beside me.
"Thank you." I smiled
He smiled in response.
We heard the leaves crunching again, and looked to see that man again.

"What is it today?" His smooth voice asked. It sounded like he was really sick.

"Leftover stu. I brought you a bowl. Would you like some?" The red head asked again.

"Has she eaten yet?" He asked, darting his blue orb in my direction.

"She has a bowl. Yes." The teenager smiled.

"Well, then yes. Thank you very much, alright let's address the elephant in the room to begin with. Who exactly are you?" He asked, dunking his large, bent metal spoon into his stu, ladling his own little broth to drizzle over hunks of meat.

"I'm not much honestly. My name is Dream," I said bluntly.

"Thats it? No last name or anything?" The Mexican man asked, anger in his voice.

"Cool it. Not everyone needs to have a last name." The quite Asian snapped.

"Well if she doesn't trust us enough to tell us her goddamned last name, how can we trust her?!" He yelled.

"Shut up you fucker. We're not telling her our last name either, were on the same page." The man said, staring daggers at him, silencing him instantly. I know I don't know them, but I would be blind if I didn't notice that these two don't necessarily get along.

"You guys! I sorry about them. My name is Yuki. I am the Doctor." The kind Asian lady smiled.

"You've met me! My name is Darla! Im the scouter," The kind red head smiled.

"Um, my name is Ben. I'm pretty new here, but I'm the distraction, and negotiator," the teenager smiled.

"I'm Ruth! I'm the ammo queen!" The little girl said, we all shared a little laugh.

"I'm Carlos, if you arnt telling me anything about you, I'm not telling you anything about me,"

"Oh my god you're acting like a fucking there year old! Grow up!" The man said, rolling his eye.

"I've had just about enough of you, you thin necked bastard!" Carlos screamed, standing up.

"Stop it! We can't do this again!" Yuki said.

"Maybe fay ass cant, but I'm sure up for it! I'm not scared of you Carlos!" He said with a cool voice,

"And you think I am of you? You're like two pounds!" He took a great swing, right to the man's stomach. He instantly hunched over, and threw up as he tried to catch his breath.

"Sean, Jesus fucking Christ! You two need to stop this right now!" Darla screamed, helping Sean stand straight.

"You. You're sleeping at the tree tonight you soon a bitch." The man screamed, while his head was still down, and arms wrapped tightly around his stomach. I looked at Carlos, and saw his eyes burn wide.

"No, Sean, you can't do that!" Ben said.

"Bull shit if I can't!  Get to the fucking tree, Dream, you're sleeping in Carlos's tent tonight." He said, with sweat rolling down his  face.

"I don't want to take up any space!" I started to object.

"Dream, that wasn't an option. Get in Carlos's tent." He said, with his voice sounding like it was going to break at any moment.

"Sorry sir," I instantly shrunk, and started to slide off the edge of the table. Ben instantly ran over to me, threw his arms under my legs, and lifted me, carrying me to a tent, where Ruth was already huddled in.

"Im so sorry about that Dream, try to get some rest. We have quite the day ahead of us tomorrow." Ben said, then let me get situated.

I shut the tent door, and tried not to listen to the blood cudgeling screames from outside. Ruth was huddled, crying In a corner.

"Hey Ruth, things will be ok, I promise." I said softly, she sniffled, mind came to lay in my lap. I felt terrible, I had broken two promises today.
