Lance sat awake on his bed, looking at the glow in the dark stars he managed to bribe Allura into letting him use them. He didn't get why Pidge was allowed to cover her room in whatever she wanted, but glow in the dark stars were a nono and took him 3 days to convince Allura. Smh.

He couldn't sleep, his thoughts have been nagging at him for a few weeks now, and he wasn't sure if he could keep them locked up in his head, he was begining to get frustrated.

Irritated.

Like he could explode and any second.

He couldn't continue to live in the castle like this, all they were doing was throwing hearts at eachother, not like those hearts meant anything, it was honestly making him feel worse.

All this fake love, just because he's the blue paladin, honestly? Pathetic.

Just tell him if you don't like it.

It just makes it worse.

And that's the sad reality here,

No one gives a damn. So Lance has to just force a smile and pretend he's okay.

And tomorrow, he would be.

Lance was the kind to believe in heros, and now he's seen just how fake they are now that he's been one.

He just gets empathy thrown at him, everytime he does anything, not even a 'are you okay?' just a 'poor Lance..'

Lance stood up from his bed, duffel bag in hand, as he walked over to the control room. He sent out a signal giving out his coordinates and waited for them to arrive.

"...Lance?" a voice called out as the alarms started blaring.

Lance turned his head around to look at whoever the voice was coming from oh...it's just Keith.

He put on a smile and waved as he felt the castle shake. Footsteps heard from every angle.

"Lance?! What have you done?!" Keith yelled as he ran up to him, ready to throw his fists, only to stop when he saw Lance just...walk..away.

"Lance, the heck?! Why did you do this?!" Keith yelled at him, trying to get his attention.

Lance just let out a tired sigh as he continued walking "Keith...you have no idea the evil that has been living in this castle for the past months. I'm not to blame." he chuckled as he walked out the room as galra soldiers flooded in.

Severe levels of evil will fall upon this universe tonight.
