~{in a battle, they just 'won' fire everywhere across the ship, but..where's Lance?}~

Keith POV

we won! It was hard..but we did it! Now...wait where's Lance?

i walk around aimlessly until I see a familiar fogure...Lance!

"Lance! Lance we did it! We won!" I said cheerfully my voice cracked tho, I had just been fighting, breathing in shit loads of smoke, and then I just ran over to my bf, sksk.

He just snickered before looking at me "'won'? Sure.." then I noticed there was something wrong "Lance are you okay?-"

"Keith...funny thing you ask. I remember years ago, someone told me I should take caution when it comes to love, I honestly did...or atleast I thought I did Keith." tears started to cloud Lances' vision, I could hear the hiss in his voice, he looked in pain, I needed to help him. "oh shi-" I was inturrupted buy him forming his bayard into a sword pointing at my chest

"but...you were strong and I was not,"

"Lance, what are you talking about?!"

"it was my illusion...my mistake. I was so fucking careless Keith, I forgot..." I could see his eyes start to go red from the tears starting to roll down his cheeks as he turned his head to look at me

"Lance, what do you mean..? What's going on?!" it hurt, it really did, his bayard at my chest, fire everywhere, ashes of the ship, it looked horrible, he looked horrible..

"But all is done, there's nothing to really say..you have gone and so effortlessly if I may add." He chuckled a bit at that last part...what's so funny..? I didn't even know what to say,

"You've won Keith! GO! Just go ahead go tell them! GO TELL EVERYONE KEITH!" "Tell them what Lance?! What's going on?! What do you MEAN?! Tell WHO?!"

"TELL THEM ALL, KEITH! Tell them all I know! Shout it from the roof tops, Keith! Write it on the sky line for all I fucking care! All we had...it's gone Keith. It's gone now." I couldn't talk, was...was he being serious? He..he's done with me..?

"T-tell them I was happy, Keith! I-I actually was! But...now my heart is broken..." he seemed like he couldn't bring himself to say it, asif it was hirting him as much as it hurt me.
"...all my scars, they're open"

"so just go ahead Keith, tell the whole fucking universe what I-I really hope would be Impossible"

~{Flashback}~
Lance POV

I was walking around the castle when I saw Keith talking with Shiro,, 'get over it Lance it's just a stupid crush' I needed to stop thinking about him. He's with Shiro...right?

~{ a month before the battle thingy they're in right now}~

I heard Keith voice and decided to fo surprise my bf with a big hug or somethinf.

I went to his room and saw...Keith and Shiro kissing.

I ran, and I ran, I didn't even know where I was going, I just ran until I couldn't. My IDOL and my boyfriend...were kissing. "I-I fell for betrayal...yet-a-fucking-gain." I chocked on my sobs as I held myself in a corner crying into my knees.

~{ flashback over }~

Lance POV

"You and Shiro...I thought we had something Keith but obviously not." I spat at him as I withdrew my bayard just glaring at him before a dark figure appeared behind me.

"Blue paladin..." the voice said in a calm and caring manner "Lotor," I said back as I turned to face him

"Voltron has left the ship and retreated," he said as he placed a hand on my shoulder "all but..that one" I looked back at Keith glaring daggers before looking back at Lotor "oh he's the-" I saw his expression darken "Don't worry..I wont treat you how he did."

Keith looked up at us as Lotor touched foreheads with me in a reassuring way "L-lance..n-no no-ot him..!" "why not Keith? He actually loves me! You can go run back to your fuck buddy Shiro! I don't need you. Lotor actually cares for me," there was a tint of yellow in my eyes from where he used quintesense to heal be after killing myself

"y-your eyes.." he spat shocked "so now you realize? Keith he saved me." I then looked back at Lotor giving him a warm smile, also getting one in return.

"I thought all I needed was was you guys, with voltron, but- I was wrong. You never loved me, nor needed me. So you can kiss your stupid little sharpshooter that's so fucking annoying because they don't shut up goodbye!" I spat at him, part of my eyes glowing as I glared at him baring my teeth grotting them slightly.

"L-lance-" I cut him off "no, I built faith on love and stupid fucking words, but boy was I wrong. You never did love me did you? I was just a distraction, a little pet for when Shiro wasn't here...all those empty promises..." I hissed as Lotor got closer to me, I liked his warmth. It was reassuring and calming.

"And if you're done with fucking embarassing me you can go and tell them-" I shooed Keith in a threatening manner, I could see the fear and betrayal in his eyes...and I loved it. Every second. I watched as he cowered up as I drew my bayard, the tip of my sword barely far from his neck.
"Tell them all I know Now! I dare you! Shout it from the fucking rooftops for all I care! Paint it on the sky line! All we had..? That's gone now! GONE!" I spat as he started to walk away hesitantly "Tell them that I was happy, Keith! But now? Now my heart is...well was broken." I gestured towards Lotor.

"Just remember this Keith, someone told me years ago, 'take caution when I comes to love' I honestly tried, I thought you were the one, but you OBVIOUSLY weren't! SO TELL THEM ALL I FUCKING KNOW!" tears started to stream down my chesks again as I started to walk towards him, in result him moving away ofc.

"SHOULD IT FROM THE ROOFTOP!" i motioned my hands to the air "PAINT IT ON THE SKY LINE!" I hissed "WHAT WE HAD IS GONE! NOTHING!" I then continued to walk closer until Keith got to the door, me steping on a few broken floorboards, ash piles, and walking through some fire like a badass, p.s I need to check up on the burn on my hand when I get back to Lotors ship. (A/N I had to add the little memo for shits n gigs' xD)

"TELL THEM THAT I WAS FUCKING HAPPY FOR ONCE KEITH!" I growled as I watched him run towards his lion as Lotor chuckled walking towards me "Shall we?" he asked as he put his hand out

"We shall" I said as I took his hand, him leading me to an escape pod to get back to his ship

~{ 11 months later }~

Keith told everyone he couldn't find Lance, and he just got with Shiro and everyone ended up forgetting about him. Until an unfamiliar face to everyone but Keith and Allura showed up.

~{ at the castle of lions }~

They got a video chat from someone while they were being ambished, they suspected it was their ambushers and answered "Well hello Allura~" the voice spoke as Allura as wered "Lotor.." her voice spat "No need to be feisty, I just wanted to come to terms about some things." he said calmly as a familiar voice was heard in the background of the chat (A/N lemme just remind you, everyone can see this, from their Lions n stuff (: )

"And what might that be?"

"You give me all or just one of the lions of corse!" (: he said calmly a small smirk on his face. "No! We will never give you the lions!" she hissed at Lotor

"very well then, I guess I'll just have to make you," with that he snapped his fingers "oh blue~ would you be a darling and come here for your master?~" Before this Lotor and his generals helped Lance look like a prisoner, well, more of a test dummie.

Lance crawled over to Lotor, like on his knees n stuff because that made it believeable that he'd broken Lance. When in reality, Lance was more in charge that Lotor! He just can't say no to Lances' eyes.

Voltron hasped in shock as Lance placed his head on Lotors thy as he patted on his lap indicating for Lance to come up and show himself, and that he did. He saw on Lotors lap as he played with his hair, swirling his finger up and down Lances back and arm. Lance was hiding his loving face instead with a defeated expression as he didn't look at the camera hiding his yellow eyes.

"LANCE!" everyone yelled through the intercom as Lotor pulled out a knife putting it dangerously close to Lances' neck "Wouldn't it be a shame if I were to kill him..?~" Lotor smirked at the camera.

"n-no! La-Lance would fight back! He wouldn't let you use him or let you use him! Allura yelled back "Oh really?~" Lotor said with a smirk before looking at Lance moving his head to face him.

"Kiss," Lotor demanded, and that Lance did, allowing access almost immediately for Lotor to explore his mouth, Lance ofc forcing a tear to roll down his cheek as everyone watched. But he was infact enjoying the kiss. "I'll let you think about it" Lotor said pulling away from the kiss ending the call

"Allura we have to!" Pidge yelled theoughvthe intercom "Just look at him! We have to get him out of there!" Keith kept quiet too ashamed to talk or object inany way. "Pidge! we can't risk the safety of one person over the safety of the universe!" Allura said in response. "Allura! Lance isn't just any person! He's family! A part of the team! He-He's like a brother to me! I love him!" Pidge yelled back crying. "I'm not losing more family!" she refdered to Matt who had recently died saving a planet. "fine! We'll do it!" Allura finally agreed.

~{ the day of giving the lion }~

Lance was prepared, as was Lotor and whoever was giving them the lion.

Soon they heard the lion(s) landing and footsteps...Pidge, Lance can easily send her running, her tail inbetween her legs "Lance!" she yelled over to Lance as he just looked at her emotionlessly. "The lion is there now give us Lance!" Pidge demanded as Lance clicked his tongue in disagreement "I think I'll stay," he said with an evil grin activating his bayard (A/N begone thOT) she cowered backwards looking at Lance "L-Lance! what are you doing?! It's me! Pidge!" he said as she ran from him not wanting to fight.

"I know," he just smirked back as he instead ran for the Lion "Blue!" he cheered running up to her as she let down her force field letting him in before shutting it again "wait- they were just willing togoveyou up..?" he looked up at blue weakly as he heard a sad, like depressing sad noise from Blue, one he never thought he'd hear "Oh blue...don't wordy. I-I wont leave you again, you're staying with me, here. You will never be left behind, forgotten or replaced." he spat when he saw pidge walking out the force field to her

"my lion huh..? Is that how unwanted I am? That I don't deserve a Lion? That you'd just give my lion away to the enimy?" she just cowered to her lion "Get out of my face Katie. You disgust me, all of you do" he hissed "They will wish they never let me become a paladin, more than they already do."

Lance walked to Lotor and started discussing when they were going to attack Voltron, and destroy them once and for all.

~{ back at the castle }~

Pidge had told everuone what happened and they were all shocked..apart from Keith. Hunk was sat in disbelief crying, Shiro looked...pale, Pidge what still barely able to cope, Allura was crying, being comforted by Coran who was crying aswel, and Keith.. Keith regretted everything. He regretted using Lance, then cheating on him. This was all his fault, he pushed Lance to the point of betrayal.

They lost Lance,

(A/N hope you liked this oneshot with and annoying cliff hanger because it's 6:29 am December 25th and I'm opening my presants in 2 hrs, and yeah instead of sleeping I did this. enjoy this 2050+ word oneshot.
