lance and his friends were at the beach celebrating the pass of the exams. lance ran after the ball that went into the ocean. he picked up the ball and started to swim back since he was pretty far out. allura was jumping and waving her hand. " HURRY UP, SLOW POKE!!" she screamed playfully. lance giggled and stopped swimming. "WHAT, I DIDN'T HEAR YOU!" and with that lance got pulled under the water. all his friends thought he was playing and laughed. they waited for about 40 seconds then started to get worried. Keith was the best swimmer so he went out to find lance. he dived under water at the place they'd seen him last. he came up to the surface without lance. he repeated this 4 times and still nothing.

where is he? did he run out of breath? he cant be gone. he was just here.

//3rd person//

lance got pulled under and was slowly being pulled to the bottom of the sea by some unknown thing. lance finally ran out of breath and his vision started to go black. out of nowhere something swam up to lance and put its lips against his. lance could breath. lance gasped for air only to find he wasn't breathing air, but water. he looked down and he still has his legs but his feet were webbed as was his hands. he started to swim up to the surface and then got shot forward. he looked down once more and found out that he could shoot extra water out of his hands. when he got to the surface he looked to the land and seen his friends crying on the land. he swam to them with a happy face. he tried to yell out but nothing came out. shiro along with the others got up and started to walk away. lance wanted to call their names but his voice wasn't working. he started to cry, waves started to form around him but he didn't care. when he went to breath in he couldn't. he went under the water and gasped. lance was sinking to the bottom when he realized he couldn't go out of the water. above him the waves got worse and storm clouds formed too. Lance was now the king of the ocean.
