I know you really want to look at their facebook profile

You might be drunk

You might be sober

Block them

Block them until you're healed

Don't try to scratch at that scab because it's too soon and it's still too tender

Don't look at it

Watch a movie instead

And I promise you, one day, you'll be able to look at that profile again

But instead of whispering "I love you" in a sad and longing sort of way,

You will whisper it in a new way

You will still love this person

Maybe not like you did before

But you're happy for them

And you care

And you can see all their success and feel proud of them

You might miss them a little

But remember that there's a reason the two of you no longer talk

Don't mix the fond love with the romantic love

Because they're both very different

But seriously, just block them until you're okay
