John's pov

       "M-MON AMI. DO YOU HAVE I-ICE CREAM!?!?"

      "Yeah Laff! It's in my fridge." Lafayette came in sobbing. 

      "Her-Hercules broke up with me!"

     "I didn't even knew you were together?!"

       "Not a couple b-break up. He said we aren't friends anymore!"

       "Same thing happened with Alex and m-me."

      "Well screw them. Do you want to cuddle and watch a movie?" Laff asked.

      We ended up watching Heathers.

      "Well I should go back to my dorm. Thanks for comforting me. You are the best friend anyone can ask for!" Laff started to leave, but I grabbed his hand. "Same Laff, same." Then the most unexpected thing happened. We kissed.

Alex's pov

     "So I'm sorry Jemmy, but i'm in love with John. Don't get me wrong I still like you, but I LOVE John. He's the best thing that has ever happened to me. Again I'm really so-" He kissed me. 

     "Chill Alex. Don't get me wrong I still pretty much love you, but I understand that you like John. Or should I say love~." He did a singsong voice. 

      And just like that we acted like the other night never happened. I kissed him, as a goodbye, and ran out the dorm to John. I burst in to a disturbing sight. Lafayette and John kissing. 

     WHAT THE HELL!!

     I ran out of the room, outside the college, and just ran wherever my feet took me. I went through a bunch of trees to a clearing of ice. I sat on a rock and I heard something in the trees. I stood up with a jolt and tears still in my eyes. I heard cracking below me. I looked down and back up, but   by the time I started to move, it was too late. I fell beneath the freezing water.

James' pov

     After what Alex told me I had gone to take a walk in the forest to clear my head. I saw him sitting on a rock and he got up from what sounded like a deer. I saw a tear drop from his face and the I heard a sound that sounded like, ICE CRACKING!!! I reached out my hand and opened my mouth to scream out to Alex, but it was too late. Alexander was underneath and drifting, so he couldn't swim up even if he knew how.

     "ALEX!!" I screamed.

     I may have been small and weak for my age, but I still tried to punch the ice. Luckily the ice was thin, so I made cracks. I found a rock near by and broke the ice. I struggled, but finally brought Alex to the surface. I started CPR ( I was minoring  into becoming a nurse or doctor ) and I felt tears slip out of my eyes. 

     "Please wake up Alex! Please" I sobbed, into his shirt. I heard a gasp. ALEX! I thought, but it was John and Lafayette.

     "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!?!?!!!!"
