Still James' pov
     I was holding Alex's hand and I felt his fingers twitch. "Oh my god!!! He flinched!!"
     "Laff call 911!" Said John.
     "No don't do that!! Trust me I know Alex enough to know that that would just make it worse."
     "Well what are we supposed to do?!?"
     "Well we need to make sure he stays sta-."
      "What?"
     "Shhhh!!!! Alex made a noise."
      As I said that Alexander started coughing and spitting out water. "What happened?"
     "ALEX!!!" Laff, John, and I all said.
     He slightly chuckled and looked at us. "Thank you, especially you Jem. I felt you pull me out, but then I passed out"  he said after we explained everything to him.
     "I was so scared you were gonna die"
     That's when he kissed me. I kissed back, but I felt guilty knowing it was just the heat of the moment and he had feelings for John. He got up grabbed my hand and led us into the woods, leaving the other two behind. " Alex where are we going it's midnight and I can't see a thing." I complained.
     "You'll see"
      He dragged me to a clearing and told me to look up. I gasped at the night sky. It was beautiful, but I knew it couldn't last.
     "Alex we need to talk. I love you, but you love John and you need to go for it." I gave a sad smile.
     "I saw him and Laff kissing, obviously he doesn't think about me like that."
     "Ok honestly I love you, but seriously?! My sweet clueless boy. I see the way you guys look at each other, so talk to him. For me??"
     He nodded his head and hugged me. I wish this moment could last forever. Maybe it could.
     "Maybe before you go, we could did what we use to do at the island" I asked.
     "You read my mind" I couldn't see it but I know he was smiling.
     We later down on the grass and he held me while we looked at the stars. Why does this have to end?

John's pov
     I gave an exasperated sigh. " Laff you are a great friend and all, but you know how I feel about Alex"
      "Can I tell you something John?? I think I'm in love with Hercules."
      There was a moment of silence which I broke by saying, " OBVIOUSLY!! Seriously I was surprised you guys weren't dating yet!"
     He pushed me playfully and Alex came back. Oh and Madison both around 30 minutes later. I don't know why, but I feel like something is going on between them, like something on the more romantic side. Which should have been obvious when I saw them kiss, but that was probably in the heat of the moment.
     Alex ran up to me and held me in an embrace. He pulled me away by the shoulders and looked at me in the eyes. Oh god his eyes. I could get lost in them forever. I love how they shined even when it was dark outside and how-. My thoughts were interrupted by him kissing me. Him kissing me? HIM KISSING ME!!!!!!! It was a soft, gentle kiss, but passionate at the same time.
     He pulled away and said, "I love you John Laurens."
      "I love you too."
