[4] I 'Hate' You All (LAMPD)

*ignore the terrible yellow colouring, I didn't have a yellow pen and had to use the Instagram yellow*

Before we get into this, I know this book is LAMP, but I had an idea and I needed to write it, yes it's about Deceit, but hey, I don't put him in my stuff often, so yeah, enjoy...

Deceit was Panromantic. There's nothing more to it, he loved everyone, but his phrasing... Well, since he spoke in lies and at times he was rather convincing it was impossible to tell whether he was lying or being honest.

His boyfriends should know that he was being deceitful since it was in his name and everything, yet there was always that underlying uncertainty about whether he was or not. Of course, they didn't want to assume, but when he kept switching between lying and sarcasm to honesty and adoration, it was hard to know which was the truth.

When he said he hated everyone, he meant he loved them all, and when he said he loved everyone, he meant he loved everyone, but since his tone didn't always give everything away, sometimes he seemed as though he actually hated everyone.

These small issues caused a few rifts in the relationships at times. Deceit never intended to upset his boyfriends, but sometimes it was inevitable.

He sighed and lay back in his bed, their recent argument had taken a toll on him, and even though he'd had Virgil and Roman on his side, Logan and Patton were relentless. Due to said argument, he was convinced their Valentine's Day plans would be cancelled.

A knock at the door made him jump out of his scales. He wasn't expecting company, so he'd put on a pair of pyjamas and lounges in bed all day, letting the guilt of the previous day consume him.

He went to the door and peaked out, managing to hold back a surprised squeak at seeing the Logical side in front of him.

"I was informed to retrieve you for out Valentine's Day plans. Patton seems to think it's necessary to partake in the eccentricities of the day, for Roman's sake."

"But, yesterday's argument?"

"Has been dismissed, and is irrelevant." Logan sent him a warm smile, extending a hand for him to take. "We wish for you to join us, and since I was rather harsh, Patton deemed I am the one to stop by and 'collect' you for the date."

"I'm not in my pyjamas..."

"I do not see why that is an issue, Virgil is in his, and I have a feeling Patton will ensure his onesie is involved. My point is, we want you to come and join us, pyjamas or not. However, your hair is slightly messy and could do with a tidy."

"So my pyjamas matter, but my hair doesn't?"

Logan rolled his eyes. "Do what you will, but we hope you join us." Logan finally dropped his hand, realising Deceit wasn't going to take it.

"I won't be there soon." He smiled and watched Logan walk away, knowing he would be better off spending the day with his boyfriends, yet something put him off, and he wasn't sure what.

He sighed and shook his head, dismissing his worries, he was accepted and loved and they wanted to spend time with him, despite who he was in the past. That side of him was long gone and he wasn't any worse off.

He tidied his hair and sighed, he couldn't help but feel worried, even though it was Virgil's job.

Another knock at the door brought him back to reality, and he realised just how long he'd been stood there.

He went to the door and smiled fondly at Roman, who said nothing and grabbed his hand, barely giving him time to shut his door before pulling him along and to the commons, where a small date afternoon had been set up.

"Glad you could join us." Patton grinned and walked over to him, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "We missed you."

"You didn't see me yesterday."

"So? You didn't join us for breakfast, I'm allowed to miss you."

"No, you're not." Deceit stuck his tongue out and didn't try to fight the smile that rose when Patton giggled.

He situated himself next to Virgil who said nothing and just cuddled into his side. He wrapped his arm around his shoulders, and pressed a gentle kiss to his temple, knowing how the small amount of affection got to him.

"You need to spend more time with us, De." Virgil murmured and buried his face in Deceit's chest, not noticing the way his breath hitched.

It didn't matter how long he'd been in a relationship with them all, the small amounts of affection they displayed always made his stomach do a somersault, especially when it came from either Logan or Virgil.

Patton put the first movie in and sat in between Deceit and Roman, resting his head on Deceit's shoulder.

After a few movies, Deceit knew they were all drifting off into a much-needed nap and he found himself saying something he didn't think twice about.

"I hate you all." He smiled when he felt a hand lace together with his, and when two sides snuggled into him further, and a hand found it's way to his hair, combing through it.

"We love you too." A small voice mumbled, and due to the sleepiness, he couldn't locate who it belonged to, but it didn't matter, he was loved, and that's all he cared about.
