Teaching and explaining him a word as best as you can. . .

So this time, you brought a Dictionary with you, you also brought a few Novels and Science Book . . .

You are going to teach him how to read, you know, in case of emergencies. . .

Discussing skeletal structures. . .

You've been teaching Sans for a week now, teaching him sentences and words, pronouns, nouns, verb and other things what so ever you were taught in English class when you were younger.

It's not that I'm saying your old or anything, I mean your 21 years old. That happened like, 4 years ago.

He was able to learn all of it and he actually listen to you this time.

His voice sounded handsome sometim- ugh, shut up brain! He's a skele-snake monster for God's sake! Not in a bad way but no. . . just no. . .

You thought as you started putting books in your sling bag ( since a sling bag is easier to carry and so that you won't look like a school girl ). You brought dictionary so that you won't have any difficulty of explaining him, a Science Book ( you just saw it under your bed, you should have brought an English Book but you don't have one ), and a few novels so he'll know how fun it is to read and imagine them.

You brought this books today because today is the day you'll teach Sans how to read. Oh isn't it fun to spend time with the skele-snake.

You arrive at the adoption center, you little things here and there, and telling Mama Cry that your going to teach Sans how to read, which made her happy.

You went and entered Sans pen, and being greeted with a hug by Sans. It's so welcoming and warm that you just want to sleep in his strong embrace and listen to his enchanting voi-

Shut up brain! You are NOT helpful at all! Especially with these little warm and fuzzy feelings. . . I'm starting to think that Sans is a Naga Siren at this point.

You thought as you blushed and hug Sans back with a warm smile.

" heya (y-n). "

" Hi Sans, Are you ready for your reading lessons? "

You say as you looked at his round face with his tongue bleeped out a bit, it's kinda cute.

" mhmm. . ."

Sans say as he curled his tail around your dangling legs slightly as you sit on his tail. Yes, you are allowed to sit on his tail since your pretty light to him and he doesn't want you to sit on the ground. How sweet of him.

You took the Science Book out of your bag and opened it as Sans watch from your right side. You accidentally opened the book on the page of skeletal system, you looked at it surprised then you looked at Sans. . .

Sans also has a surprised look with a small blush on his skull.

Shit! They must have think of bones are lewd and sexy, I think?

You immediately closed the book which snapped Sans out of his flustered gaze, you laugh nervously as you pulled your Dictionary, you place the Science Book to your left on the ground.

You opened the Dictionary ( making sure that they don't have any skeleton or bones or something, this Dictionary has some pictures on it ).

You already know he can read, but only the ones you taught him at least. So this is going to be a whole new level for Sans.

Let's see if he can read from the simplest word to the harder ones. . .

You're quite impressed of Sans, he was able to read quiet fast after learning for a short period of time, actually he's faster than you which made you a bit jealous, especially words that you will never pronouns correctly. But you are proud of Sans and no one can change that ( even if your jealous ).

Both of you are lazing around ( since today is raining which costumers rarely come at this weather, except emergencies ), you laying Sans' coiled up tail while he's laying on your stomach which made you blush a bit as you read one of your novels ( it's so weird that you felt like your attached to him, but he's not yours but you also don't see him as a pet at all, a companion, maybe, or a friend ).

Sans is also reading a novel ( like you're trying to turn him into a book snake, get it? Okay never mind ). Trying to make him imagine what his reading, he didn't ask you about what this things look like because he has your phone ( and a dictionary, he can read it himself ) so he can search it up on what it looks like and yes, you taught him how to use it of course ( duh, isn't that obvious?! ).

" pssssssst (y-n). . . "

You laugh on the inside since Sans added too much S'es, he sounded like he's hissing at you.

" Yeah Sans. "

" why do humans have skeletons inside them like you do? I can feel them through your hand. . . "

You widened your eyes in surprised as you look at Sans ( you were looking at your book as you responded to him ), he was holding your Science Book that you opened earlier.

" U-uhh, did you read why we have t-them? "

" well, there's no explanation why you have them tho. . ."

Sans says as he looks at the book for an answer for his question, you were sure that the answer was in the book, maybe he can't find it.

" Did you try my phone? "

" ehh, didn't help at all. . . "

Ugh why me? why THAT question? It's not that I don't know the answer but I barely remember the answer- you know what, let's get this over with. . .

" Well, we have them to make as sturdy and not like a blob or something, it's like a frame of canvas, to hold it firm to it's shape like a square. You know to hold our flesh and stuff. . . "

" heheheh, i'm just messing with you, you sounded like your making a poem or somethin' . . . "

WHY YOU SLY SNEK-?! Well, at least his vocabulary is getting wider now. . .

" Wow, you know how to mess with people now huh, did you learn that on the internet? "

Sans just shrugs and went back to reading your Science Book. He should stop reading that book before he finds something in there . . . You know what I mean, but you let him be.

" i'm curious about something . . . "

" Yeah, what are you curious about? "

" why does our skeletal structure is different? well, at least the half of mine is similar but not to yours at least. . . i mean, why is it thicker than yours. "

Sans says as he looks at your face, expecting YOU to be the answer of all questions, well, he IS genuinely curious so this must be a serious question.

" Hmmm. . . "

You hummed as you think and look at Sans body ( half skeletal, idk? His waist to the rest of his lower body is just an ecto-tail with a visible bones, more like a spinal bone almost to the tip of his tail ) structure. Stroking his ecto-tail, feeling his warm jelly like body.

" Maybe it needs to be thicker since you don't have skin like I do. . . You know, to hold each other in place, you also don't have muscles, well, except your ecto-tail, it's just. . . jelly like, I don't know much about magic and how it works anyway so, I tried. "

While you were explaining, Sans flipped through your Science Book to look if your saying is true about things humans have and he don't. Well, at least he understands now. . . It does make some sense, as he look at his hand and move his phalanges.

" okay, i understand now, i have one last question . . . "

" Okay, go on. . . "

" what's a va- "

" Okay, give me the book, Now!!! "

You blushed and took the Science Book before Sans can even answer, you put the book back in the bag.

" wait, i wanna know what's- "

" Sorry your not ready for that, just. . . just go back reading your novel! "

You say as you also took your phone from Sans ( you also included the dictionary ), better safe than sorry.

" but i need that to search on stuff. . . "

" That is the thing, you might search t-that. . . that thing! " 

oh, i forgot about that one. . .

" wha . . . what is so embarrassing about that 'thing'? "

Sans says as he does the quotation marks with his hands.

" Just go back reading. . . "

You say as you went back to reading with a flustered face, well, there is no point on pushing you further so he just shrugged and went back to reading.

He might learn it someday.

hmmm, oh! maybe i should ask Mama Cry, maybe that 'thing' was. . .

maybe not, it might be embarrassing to humans since she's flustered about it anyway. . .
