Just a memory

It was time for Jimin to work, He got up and started getting ready, he showered, changed and took a bag so he can carry his things in. His work attire was all black dressed clothes and a name tag that said Park Jimin. Jimin has been working in the steakhouse for one month, he started once he turned 19 on his birthday. It was now November towards the end of the year, Jimin caught a crowded subway to work, all he could think about was the hot, crowded, subway and the struggle he'll have to do to get off.

Once it came to his stop, Jimin struggled and fighted his way through the big crowd. Once he jumped out of the subway in time, he took a deep breath of the fresh cold air that greeted him. Jimin took no second longer to get to work. When he walked in he noted Taehyung was gawking at Jimin the whole time. Jimin of course was still wearing the necklace and looked away from Taehyung not wanting him to bother any longer. Kim Taehyung was a daily reminder to Jimin about how wrong it was to lie on a promise someone else kept, Jimin now despised work because of the truth... He couldn't face the fact that he lied and cheated while Jungkook was out there holding the necklace so tight to his heart.

"Jimin! Table four needs a waiter!" A young man shouted. His smile was golden and his face looked young an joyful. His name tag read Jung Hoseok, from the looks of his place he was standing by, he was the host that sat down the customers. The restaurant had a classy look to it, red carpeted floors, dark brown chairs and tables, black wall exterior with paintings hung up, drawings like the Mona Lisa, Starry night and much more, red cushioned seats, a bar filled with vodka and whiskey and any other drink bottles resting on shelves way up high. The service was packed! Many people seated and being served that Jimin had a headache just staring at them all. Jimin raced to the employee lounge and placed his things down signing in. Jimin quickly ran to tend the table and bowed apologizing to the elderly couple.

After serving alot of people, Jimin went back to the lounge for a breather sitting down on the white couch as the amount of people who were there earlier, has left and only a few were present until closing. A co-worker walked up to Jimin and handed him a box of green fresh salad and a juicy m steak with perfectly warm noodles and sticky rice. Jimin looked up to see his charming, bright and funny friend Kim Seokjin offering a meal. "Here you go, Jimin. You should eat." Seokjin smiled handing the clear plastic box of food to Jimin. Jimin accepted it with a smile as Seokjin sat down next to him.

"Didn't you eat yet, Jin?" Jimin asked.

"I already ate... It was P-A-S-T-A PASTA and P-I-Z-Z-A PI-"

"Okay Okay I get it!" Jimin giggled. Taehyung heard Jimin's giggle and felt upset knowing how Jimin was handling the break up so well! Like he had someone he wanted from a long time. Taehyung knew it was the pianist that made him happy. Taehyung sighed loudly as Jin focused on him.

"So loud, Taehyung!" Seokjin laughed, his laugh was like windshield wipers. It made Jimin laugh aswell.

"It was tough customers out there!" Taehyung claimed avoiding eye contact with Jimin. It still pissed him off how Jimin wouldn't care for Taehyung for the past two years of being together. But of course, Taehyung always kept Jimin from the corner of his eye watching his moves.

Jimin continued eating talking with Jin and sometimes join in the conversation with Taehyung. Jimin tried to brush off the break up and move on but Taehyung wouldn't allow it. He wanted Jimin to know what he caused.

"WOW! There's a party in here and no one invited me?!" Hoseok walked in with a big smile showing his perfectly straight teeth.

Jimin couldn't stop laughing because everytime Jin came up with 'dad jokes' Jimin would laugh, he would laugh because of Jin's contagious chuckes! So it was like an everlasting punishment.

Hoseok smiled sitting next to Taehyung and putting his arms around his neck. "Just so you know.. I'm very sleepy so I won't let go~"

Taehyung laughed nervously and was just expecting Jimin to say something but then he remembered, Jimin never cared... At all...

Jimin looked down at his necklace and smiled before standing up and finishing his plastic box of food. Jin watched Jimin and noticed he was leaving. "Ah! Jimin! Are you leaving so soon?"

"Yes.. My shift is over.." Jimin added.

"Oh... I forgot." Hoseok claimed resting on Taehyung's shoulder.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow! Bye." Jimin waved gathering his things and leaving his workplace at 11pm one hour before midnight. As Jimin left, Taehyung felt he was nothing more but a memory to Jimin... A bad memory.
