Here's the continuation of the previous chapter. And I know that it's "unprofessional" for that kind of title but ehhhhhhhhhhh idc

I like it anyways, it's less work to do XD

Anyways, here's the continuation :/

Ember growled in frustration and anger. He threw the rock into the lake as it sunk down. Ember's face was turning red by anger, he felt like his mind was blurring slowly, envisioning something else than his environment, and becoming a memory instead.

A woman troll held the wrapped up baby in her arms as she ran away from the burning town. The baby was crying quietly, reaching for his mother, yearning for a warm hug from her. And yet, he received that hug. Then, once the mother, aka the woman, heard a scream, she gasped and continued running away. She then spotted a bright green pod, decorated with darker green shades. She approached it and carefully laid the baby on the doormat, crying as she looked into the baby's green eyes. She sighed and put the amulet around the baby's neck and suddenly felt the little baby's hands touch her own. She started to sob, and closed her eyes tightly as she whispered a song.

"Close your eyes, lean on me...
Just bring the memories back...
And let them free...

Just lean on my shoulder, darling...
Forget your problems in a blink...
Don't ever let your dreams drown...
Don't ever let them sink...

Just close your eyes,
Dry your tears,
Let them dry into the sunlight,
Where you can never see your fears...

Just count on me when there's a problem,
You don't need to be afraid to see it,
Just close your eyes...

And let go~"

The mother cried as she slowly released her hand away from the baby's gentle grip. Then she started running away as the storm started to slowly arrive. The baby cried loudly as its tears were falling down from its cheeks.

Suddenly, the door carefully opened as the baby was carried up in the arms of a blue troll. The blue female troll looked into his green eyes just like hers, and suddenly the thunder stroke. She then quickly brought the baby inside and closed the door. She whispered to the baby. "It's gonna be okay... I'm here...."

Ember cried softly, and covered his face with his hands as the tears slowly flow down from his cheeks. Ember was still so young, since he's only 14 years old, and his birthday was arriving after a few more weeks.

Ember was in the forest, in front of the lake and was sitting on a log. (A/N: Fun fact: Every single lake I mention in each book is the same one. It's the same lake Lake's parents first met) All the things the young troll could ever think of was about his real mother and how she's doing. And most of all, he hoped for her to be alive.

"You okay, bud?" A voice asked as the troll approached Ember. Ember quickly wiped his tears with his hand, then he took a deep breath before looking up at the troll.

"I am gonna find them... and give them what they deserve."
