Leo's P.O.V

"You let them get away!" Master Shredder yelled as he slapped me. "I didn't do it on purpose! Your idiotic daughter ruined my plans on catching them!" I yelled back panting. Shredder froze and looked to his daughter. I smirked and mouthed 'This is what you get' "So Karai, my daughter, is he lying or telling me the truth?" He asked staring down at her "He's lying father! He ruined his own mission! He suddenly yelled and went in and attacked I told him not to do it and-" I tackled her punching her "How dare you!? Lie to them saying I ruined my own mission you were the one that went and ruined it!" I yelled. I felt hands grabbing me trying to pry me off of her. They finally got Tiger Claw to get me off, as I panted glaring at her. She stared at me with pure fear "Karai you lied to me?" Shredder asked. She looked up at him and before she could speak, he slapped her. "I taught you better than this Karai! You are demoted to a soldier from now on. Leonardo will be taking your place as second in command." He stated staring down at her. I smirked and Shredder looked at me, "Congratulations Leonardo. Do not fail me like my daughter has, Get those turtles on your own whatever it takes!" he stated as I kneeled before him and bowed my head, "I will not fail you ,Master Shredder," I replied and smirked. I looked over to Karai and she scowled at me. I left the room, leaving Shredder and Tiger Claw with Karai. I heard Shredder saying before the door fully closed, "and as for you... Tiger Claw, amuse me." I heard Karai's screams slowly fade away as I kept walking. Then, I felt slightly, slightly guilty about what I did. Well, she saw it coming. 'She should've known better than to try to frame me. But why?' I scowled as I made a turn to get to my room, making foot soldiers walking past me jump. I laid on my bed sighing, "Why would she frame? I did nothing wrong to her." I asked to the nothingness. I just sighed and fell asleep.

~~~At the lair~~~

Raph P.O.V

I was laying in my bed and was thinking of the past months since Leo was gone. Donnie has shut himself inside his lab all day and Mikey isn't happy anymore. All he does is sulk around the lair and Splinter? He acts like nothing ever happened which ticks me off. I went to ask him why he isn't upset and I got an answer but not the one I wanted from him... *sigh*

~Flash back~

"Father how come you aren't upset about... you know... Leo?" I asked him.

He looked at me and said, "I knew this day will come...But it his own fault for deciding the choice he made and for that choice he has also disgraced this family. If he hadn't left the lair then he would have never left this family and joined Oroku Saki." I was astonished by what he said, "So it doesn't matter if I made fun of him or not?" I asked him. "Exactly. Also I must find a new leader for this team seeing as Leonardo could not handle the responsibility of leadership. I shall put you as the new leader of the team, do not disappointment me Raphael." he stated as he started to meditate. "Hai, Sensei." I answered and left the dojo completely shocked to what Splinter said.

~End of flashback~

It made me angry at what he said. How could he? He is letting Leo go to Shredder and he doesn't even care about it! 'God I really need to get out of this room...Maybe a little run topside' I thought as I left the lair not telling anyone. Mostly because no one cares. I know Donnie doesn't but Mikey... well maybe a little. I ran on the roof tops, the wind in my face. Man did it feel good! I jumped every so often to get to another building. When I stopped I looked down at the city, smiling a bit, remembering things from the past. "It's very pretty isn't it?" a voice interrupted my thoughts I looked over to see who it was and saw none other than Leo himself. "L-Leo what are you doing out here?" I asked, tensing up. He walked towards me and sat on the ledge beside me. I was just staring at him, confused as heck. "Well aren't you going to sit?" he asked me and then looked at me. I nodded and sat beside him. We were silent until he started to speak again, "New york can be pretty huh?" He smiled softly and I nodded. We were silent again, but this time, I can tell he was calm. And me? Well, I felt happy. Leo seemed he got his sense back.

Leo's P.O.V

I can tell Raph trusted me right away..perfect! And the best way is to act like I used to act, well try to act like I used to, which hopefully won't be to hard, is to forget about Foot Clan stuff and and focus on Raph... and maybe smile often, ugh. I didn't know it was this hard to act!, I thought. "Yeah I guess it's pretty," Raph said as he smiled a bit. I gave a fake smile and said, "you know Raph I want to come back home with you," I tried to sound as sad as possible and there hook line and sinker! He bought it because his smile became bigger, "It's nice ta know yer comin back Leo," he said but his smiled faltered a bit as he sighed. "Things haven't gone to the best," he stated darkly as I stared at him, "what do you mean?" I asked. He looked at me with those golden eyes with sadness "It's better if ya saw it yerself" He said as he grabbed my hand and took me back to the lair in all honesty I've changed therefore I could care less what happened to him and the others You do care Leo you just don't want to see it I thought to myself I growled and shook my head as I look up to see door Raph opened it what I saw was pure emptiness Mikey wasn't stuck to the T.V. Donnie was nowhere to be found and Raph as he looked at it his eyes became dull with sadness then looked at me "We're back home big brother" he said as we walked in and closed the door that's when we heard another door opened and we both saw it was Donnie he went to the kitchen and started to make coffee Raph just grabbed my hand and brought me to the kitchen "Donnie! Leo's back isn't that great" Raph said smiling Donnie just looked up then looked down his eye's widen then looked straight at me "L-Leo you're back!" He exclaimed and hugged me he had tears I didn't like hugs as much as I use to but I had to keep the act up and I hugged back and said softly "Yeah Donnie I'm back and I'm staying for good" I smiled as he just smiled back and hugged tighter then out of nowhere Mikey appeared he looked at me silently he didn't speak he was stunned "Donnie? Raph? I'm not dreaming right?" Mikey babbled as I shook my head. "No bro you aren't dreaming it's me and I'm staying," I said giving a fake smile. Man I hate smiling! I thought as I felt Mikey hug me tightly Geezus! Who knew Mikey can hug..so TIGHT! I was trying so hard not to push him away and growl but I just gave a smile and hugged back "Leo don't ever leave us like that ever!!" Mikey sobbed I felt slightly sad and by slightly I mean by 1 to 10. I would score 1 on that scale but I just pretend to care and look sad "What is the meaning of this my sons!" a voice said loudly I looked over to see who it was it was Splinter. You have no idea how much I wanted to rip him apart but I had to keep calm and act like nothing ever happened. His eyes widened when he saw me. "Le-Leonardo?" "Yes..father it's me Leonardo and I have return for good I never meant to say what I said all those months ago and joining the foot I....I regret it deeply I only wish to return to my brothers and you father" I said simply. He looked sadden "I-I'm sorry my son but I do not trust you so easily right now but if what you say is true then very well you can live with us like a family," he said and I bowed to him. He left my brothers and just gave me a smile. "Leo your room is still useable you can sleep there," Raph said, smiling. I nodded and retired to my room. I closed my door and smirked widely. "Fools! They are truly fools. Once I have the perfect time I will attack and show Master Shredder I am no failure," I whispered to myself, smirking as I fell asleep.
