The Agreste family

"Thank you," The young girl said as Isabella smiled, picked her bag and walked through the streets of Paris. Sure, she'd had a shooting in three minutes and would arrive late just like always, but her producer would make an exception. Today, she was more cheerful than usual. Her eyes would gleam at whatever light they would receive. Her producer mentioned she would model Gabriel Agreste clothes, never seen them, but definitely heard of them.

Paris was such a beautiful city, in her opinion, everything was connected to everything. She arrived at her studio not that late, only five this time. Her producer, Andy, looked at her incredibly angry then managed to calm down and take her into her fitting room.

"Gabriel Agreste is serious business, Isabella." He answered as the make up artists started to apply their magic on her face. "No messing around."

She smiled. "I will handle Mr. Agreste the way I want to handle him. My friendship with the designer is not exactly meant to come out to the public and if he hates me or loves me, nothing will affect my career."

Andy scoffed. "Exactly how would it not affect your career? If Gabriel talks bad of you-"

"I believe every person should not hold prejudice against others," Isabella said, noticing how red Andy had gotten. "So those who want to contact me should see the way I work by themselves. Run away now,  I'm changing."

"Mr. Agreste, this is Isabella." Andy said standing in the middle of those two unknown soulmates. Isabella raised her eyes to  meet Gabriel's who were grey, but with a much more meaning than that. She smiled and offered him her hand and he took it lightly, only to jerk it back the moment their skins touched. Despite working with him, Isabella knew first impressions were everything to most people and hers with Mr. Agreste had just been a disaster. "She works in a...peculiar way, but don't worry. I'll make sure she follows your rules."

He smiled. "I don't have any rules. Just model and make my clothes look gorgeous on you."

She smiled back. "I can handle that."

Gabriel positioned her in the middle of the set, the buildings of Paris as a background as she grabbed the yellow sunhat Andy told her to wear and looked at the camera, offering a smile. She loved modeling, but she wouldn't make a career out of it. To be honest, Isabella only wanted to fall in love, marry and have children whom she'd love too. She wanted to be kind, honest, and fair-all these ideas the world had gotten wrong.

She didn't need to act pretty to the camera, Isabella's natural beauty splattered out. Gabriel observed her closely as she waved her hat, as she spun around, the aqua blue dress creating ripples and her yellow heels dancing. Isabella had a few yellow bracelets, the same color as the hat and the heels, on her right arm-but it all added up to her beauty. She made everything work.

After a three hour photo-shoot, Isabella was told to go home, that her service would no longer be needed and that she was wonderful. Even if she was flattered by all the comments, she wanted to hang around in case a few other pictures might be needed. She paced through the hallways, as Duusu popped out of her bag.

"You did great, Isa!" Her kwami said, pride flashing across her incredibly and indescribable blue eyes.

Isabella smiled down at her kwami and snuggled her with her cheek. "Thanks, Duusu, now hide, others may be listening."

Duusu obeyed and hide in the bag. Isabella had convinced herself going home might probably be the best idea. At turning because of a corner, she bumped into Gabriel who looked shocked and dropped dozens of his papers, all scattering down at the ground. She apologized to him and with his help, picked them up and handed them back to him. "I should've seen where I was going."

"Me too." She replied, still holding a few of the papers and her eyes wandered down to look at them. "This is a pretty boy, is he your son?"

Gabriel scoffed. "I'm not even married, never fallen in love, in fact. But once I'm done with expressing to the world my ideas with clothes, I do expect to fall in love and raise a child, perhaps only one so it's not loud. This is him, blonde hair, green eyes and an angelic face."

Isabella beamed even wider. "He is angelic, a face thousands of girls would fall for. Does he have a name?"

Gabriel turned bright red. "I was hoping the mother would pick it after he came to life."

She nodded and handed him the piece of paper. "I like the name Adrien, if it helps."

She walked away only to hear Gabriel murmur, "I love that name."

4 years later...

"Adrien, come here!" Isabella cried as his son raced through the hallways of their incredibly large house. Gabriel was behind her, laughing too as their son continued to act like a devil and refuse to take his medicine. "If you don't, you'll still get sick! Do you want to get sick?"

"No, mommy." He finally said, giving up and standing still. She laughed and tackled her little three-year-old in a hug. He laughed and hugged her back, Gabriel coming to tackle both of them in his arms. After that, Adrien finally agreed to eat his medicines willingly. After Isabella tucked him in his bed, kissing his forehead and singing him a small lullaby so he'd sway to the melody to sleep, she closed the door to his room shut.

"I love him." She said to Gabriel as he smiled at her, then his attention turned back to his works. "What's that, honey?"

"New clothes." Gabriel replied and show them to his wife. "Adrien will be a great model someday."

Her eyebrows arced up. "Model? I thought he wanted to be a piano artist, or a public speaker for others to understand each other, always thinking so deep-our son."

"He can do that too." Gabriel said and kissed his wife to sleep. "He can be anything we want him to."

10 years later,

"You can't do anything!" Gabriel snapped, throwing a bunch of papers at the floor as they scattered. "You don't understand, Isabella, by having these other two miraculous we could be unstoppable! Imagine all the good things that could happen to Adrien!"

"We both agreed we would maintain our miraculous secret if we ever wanted to keep Adrien safe." Isabella argued. "He's thirteen now which means...you know who will be more eager to catch more holders. The world is too dangerous, Gabriel, and what your trying to do won't save him but endanger him."

"I want those full powers!" Gabriel yelled slamming his fist on the table. "Imagine all I could get..."

Isabella scoffed and ignored Gabriel's anger. They had been arguing every since Master Fu told them the existence of other miraculous and handed them Gabriel's. In the end, they both agreed that for Adrien's sake they would keep the miraculous away, even if it pained her never to see Duusu in a long time, but Adrien was her world-she needed to keep him safe. Master Fu also handed them a book sharing all the miraculous powers and Gabriel found this particular page where he found that both of these miraculous would grant him full power.

Ever since, their love has been nothing but arguing.

"You want nothing but to favor yourself!" Isabella yelled then pointed at the portrait a friend of hers had painted. "Adrien is your son, you need to think of him before yourself! That's the rule of parenting and you haven't quite gotten in."

"I love Adrien." Gabriel replied. "So I will keep him safe with these two powers."

"Who cares about the powers?" Isabella yelled, anger started to rise in her voice. "I care about Adrien and his life! Have you been noticing how terrible he's been acting? Every photo-shoot with less enthusiasm? The poor kid wants to go to school but you suddenly decided it wasn't even a subject to talk about! I want him to go to school and live a normal life."

"My son isn't normal."

"You mean our son." Isabella spat and took out the peacock miraculous. Duusu immediately popping out. "This isn't what I want anymore if it makes you like this."

"Isabella?" Duusu asked shyly. "Adrien needs you. Gabriel needs you. Something tells me it's a mistake if you discard me."

"I wish I couldn't." Isabella said, flashing a dark look at the man it hurt to call husband. "Gabriel, this has blinded your mind with power. Adrien will be in more danger if you have these sort of power. Trust me."

She stepped over and wrapped her hand in his, taking the miraculous away from him. "Master Fu would understand if we gave them back to them. He can find another, there are plenty of people in the world."

"Nobody deserves that kind of power but me." Gabriel said and gripped Isabella's wrist tightly. "I'm sorry to tell you, you are nothing but a distraction to me. You are the one obstacle pulling me back about all this Adrien. You don't care about him, only what I'm able to do with these powers."

Isabella gasped. "He is our son! How can I not care of him?"

"Stop-" Duusu warned.

"Stay out of his kwami!" Gabriel spat and took the miraculous from Isabella's hand-both of them. "I can't allow you to stick around if all your going to do is pull me back. This isn't how love works."

"Yelling at me and hurting me is not love!" Isabella said, struggling to get free. "Gabriel, this has gone too far."

"You've gone too far!" Gabriel said, his eyes from grey turning into purple as his put his miraculous and yelled. "Nooru, dark wings-RISE!" Butterflies started to fill his whole body and it let out to Isabella on the floor, Gabriel threw her. Duusu tried to pick her up, but her immense weight was too much. Isabella locked eyes with Hawkmoth, the horrible monster her husband had become.

Before, Hawkmoth and the peacock were a secret to Paris. Now, after all the plans Gabriel had talked to her she was sure they wouldn't stay a secret anymore.

"We were supposed to be a secret!" Isabella yelled as air started to pull her backwards, her back hitting a golden and yellow background Gabriel had kept in his study for years.

Hawkmoth shook his head and aimed his cane at Isabella's chest. "No, now you will be the secret."

Duusu locked eyes with Isabella pure fear flashing before the kwami's eyes.

"Gabriel, don't do this." Isabella said. She wasn't sure what Gabriel was going to do to her anyway, all she knew was that it wasn't going to be good and it would certainly affect Adrien. "Think about Adrien, what would he think about this?"

"I'm Hawkmoth." He replied, not meeting her eyes. "And I'm doing this because of Adrien. Too much goodness in his heart because of you. I say, perish where no one can find you."

"Gabriel-" Isabella said, but was cut off over the tip of Gabriel's cane touching her chest. She suddenly started glowing, screaming at the immense pain taking over her and vanished into nothingness.

"You have done a terrible mistake!" Duusu yelled at Gabriel but he made the kwami disappeared by closing the miraculous and then shoving it into the safe behind his new portrait, the real version of Isabella Agreste smiling back.

"I don't know what happened." Gabriel said, hugging Adrien tightly as he erupted in a sea of tears. "Your mother left without a trace and if I could've stopped her, I would've done everything in my power."

Adrien cried.

And cried.

And cried for what seemed the end of the world. Gabriel was surprised the amount of tears the body had which ended up for them hugging each other at midnight, where Gabriel had caught Adrien looking at pictures on his phone of his mother. For Adrien, his mother's disappearance was a mystery, perhaps an act of infidelity of Gabriel or bad behavior coming from him, or simple the urge to run away.

But for Gabriel, Isabella Agreste was waiting int he portrait, someday, somebody with the same amount of goodness and strength in their heart like Isabella had, would have enough power to bring her back only occasionally. He had to keep this power for the villain a secret, but of course that secret villain would have much more powers.

Why not all?

"I'm sorry, my boy." He said, patting Adrien's curly blonde hair, trying not to suppress a smile. "Your mother is gone."

Stay miraculous!
