Balcony (Marichat special) pt. 1

So, I forgot this whole balcony scene I wanted to put it, so here it is! You might notice something was missing in Wonderland, so here it is. I promised I'd include the four ships, so here is Marichat.

Marinette yelped as Chat Noir appeared on her balcony, pouting at her and snickering in a flirtatious way. She locked eyes with the black cat as he gently stepped down the railing and played with his stick. "Marinette."

She nodded. "Chat Noir."

He paced uncomfortable in the room until he finally let go. He started crying. She opened her eyes wide, sure, Chat Noir seemed manly enough by not crying, but she never thought he could be so fragile. She didn't react at first, she was haunted. What would she do? What would she say? She sighed and walked towards him, even if he was her annoying sidekick, Marinette never wondered how broken he could be behind the mask.

Mask and smiles, same damn thing.

"Are you okay, kitty?" She asked him, fixing her eyes on his tears. It'd been the first time she'd seen Chat Noir cry, the first time she'd ever seen a boy cry.

He shook his head, and out of nowhere, he embraced her. Marinette gasped and realized she fit perfectly well on his arms. It was like he was assuring her not the other way around. He smelled like leather and lemons and the way he cried made Marinette's heart crack. She broke apart and stared into his deep eyes.

"What's wrong?" She asked brushing a tear quickly with her thumb.

He shook his head. "I shouldn't be here, forget it."

"No, now you tell me." Marinette said, his eyes flickering pain. She moved and put a hand on his shoulder. "You can trust me."

"You shouldn't see me like this." He said, swinging his legs across the railing. "I should go."

Marinette grabbed his wrist and yanked him back. He fell into the floor and observed her, his eyes wide. She sat legs crossed in the floor, Chat Noir in front of him and offered him a smile. He wouldn't meet her eyes. Marinette stared at him, the way his shoulders were leaked back, his eyes lowered to the ground, his hands shaking and his eyes wild with thoughts.

"Talking helps." She suggested, scooting closer to the nervous cat. "If you want I could start talking."

He looked lost. "You don't know what's happened to me."

Marinette shrugged. "I could talk about many other things and once I talk I can't stop. You can ask my friend, Alya, sometimes I annoy her so much-oh, like this one time she had to put tape around my mouth for me to shut up about talking of my designs-which I think are super great, not that I like to brag, but I love to do so and-"

He managed a smile. "You're good at talking."

She nudged his ribs. "I'm good at annoying people, it's a talent."

He sighed and looked at he horizon of Paris, dusk taking over. "Let's say I had some trouble and home, you have no idea how horrible it is not to feel love. My family-it's broken, and I'm the destructer, my powers is that. I can't do anything but destroy, in battles I'm useless and I'd be nothing without Ladybug."

Her heart dropped.

"Don't say that."

"What do you want me to say?" He asked spinning around to face her. "Everybody knows I'm just Ladybug's shadow, then things at home are worse than ever and you...you manage to always stay positive, not caring about anything in the world. What's your secret?"

Marinette laughed and looked away from his depressed face only for a moment. "I stay close to the people I love. Maybe things at home aren't that good, talk to friends on the phone or invite them to your house, ignore the world-that's what I do. I'm starting to be very good at it and I'm sure if you talk deeply with Ladybug, she will apologize for making you feel like your her shadow 'cause your not."

He smiled, barely. First time smiling. "What would I do without you, Marinette?"

She giggled, then frowned. "Yeah, why did you come here? It's not like you and I have a strong relationship. I barely know you at all."

"I wanted to talk with someone." He said sadly. "Your bakery was the first building I saw and I knew you were good talker. A close friend told me so."

She nodded. She wondered who would it be. "Are you okay now? Can you stop crying?"

He sniffled. "I'm sorry you had to see me like this. The wonderful, incredible super hero secretly cries in the arms of an average human girl. Another side of the story, huh?"

She smiled. Of course she knew how it was. Ladybug cried mostly every day under the horrible stress she was in. "Yeah, I guess so. Look, when I was little, my mom used to sing me a song that would always cheer me up. I was a kid, I didn't understand it that much but later on I saw the true meaning, not only did it talked about love of the people around you but how you should be able to relay on them all the time for it to be love."

He smiled. (Second time) up at her. A smile that she didn't know why made her heart skip a beat. "Can you sing it to me?"

Marinette turned bright red. "I'm not a good singer."

"And I'm not good-looking." He said sarcastically. He looped his arms around her waist. "Purr-ease?"

"The cat puns will only make it worse." She remarked, but then sat down in the pink beach chair she had as Chat Noir stood in the railing. Some part of her wanted to push him over, another was worried he would fall and another didn't give a damn. She sighed and first started muttering the melody, closing her eyes so she didn't have to see Chat's laughing face at hearing her badly sing.

"Come to my meadow land,

Do you wish to take my hand?

Over here in my meadow land,

I see the ocean, sky and sand,

I hear the waves crash into the shore,

Wishing I could see more and more.

Come to my meadow land,

Do you wish to take my hand?

If I get lost, where would our love stand?

If the sudden hate was unplanned,

Where would our love stand?

Over here in my meadow land,

Where you no longer take my hand,

How am I supposed to live?

Is love too selfish to give?

I no longer find pretty the ocean, sky and shore,

Is my heart so difficult to tore?

Come to my meadow land,

Where I suddenly feel damned,

Who will stand by my side?

Who will see how much I've cried?

Will my meadow land ever be pretty again?

Or is my love to you all in vain?

I was in love, so naive.

You didn't care how much I would grieve,

My meadow land is slowly withering,

And I slowly hear myself whispering,

"Come to my meadow land,

Do you wish to take my hand?"

Suddenly, the pain is gone.

I know other's love helps me hang on.

Come to my meadow land, where everything is happy,

Where I receive all kind of love gladly."

Marinette opened her eyes to find Chat jolting his awake, jaw dropped. They stared at each other for a moment, until he ran towards her and wrapped her up in a hug. They stayed there for at least years, centuries, but Marinette enjoyed the sudden change with his actions. One moment, he was tender, delicate and kind and the next, he was squeezing her hard like she'd vanish quicker than a swift.

"Chat?" She croaked. "I can't breathe."

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, I'm sorry." He said letting her go only for her lungs to refill with air. Chat Noir looked at her with a silly smile. "I a-paw-logize."

"I'm going to kick you out." She warned and he laughed, then patted her head. She walked over to the railing and leaned on it, Chat Noir sitting next to her. "So, are you better now?"

"Why do you say you don't sing good?" He asked abruptly at her. She turned around to see that he was already looking at her. "You sing, beautifully, Marinette. In fact, I liked it so much, I'm going to come here to listen to you sing it every day."

"Chat-I-" She was interrupted by Chat pressing his lips to her forehead, all the molecules in her body turned icy cold. Sure, he had been his first kiss but Ladybug had been his. And as long as they didn't know each other's identities, it would still remain confusing. She blushed furiously as he grabbed his stick and descended into Paris.

Marinette quietly whispered to herself, extending her hand out to Chat Noir's silhouette in the night sky of Paris, "Do you wish to take my hand?"

Yey!!! I'm done with Marichat! I think I liked it so much, I'm going to start a new fanfic on Marichat, I just love them so much. By the way, the song of the meadow land I decided to call 'My meadow land' is mine and I'm putting author's copyright on it, just for you to know. Yeah, I did the song while snoring in algebra. Yay! Another thing, this may be not the last time you see some Marichat scenes, this fanfic is originally on Lady Noir and there will be more scenes with them, but who says the other ships can't float around?

That's all, thank you for everything!
