"Hi, Chat." Ladybug said, twisting some hair around her finger flirtatiously. 

"Ladybug, what's wrong?" Chat stated, not bothering to look up from his book.

"Why, nothing, Chat." Ladybug tried.

This was not going to plan. Chat - Adrien - was supposed to be amazed and they were supposed to get married and have three kids (Emma, Hugo, and Louis) and a dog- no, a cat- no, a hamster, since everyone loves hamsters. Chat slammed his hardcover shut, Ladybug jumping at the noise. "What are you playing at?"

"Cat and mouse... Cat and Ladybug?" Ladybug asked.

"Ha, funny. Yes I chase you, now what?" Chat asked.

He was clearly not in a good mood. "Except this time," Ladybug leaned extremely close to Chat, whispering in his ear. Her finger absently trailed down his jawline, "I'm the cat." Ladybug finished.

This was not a joke, Chat concluded. This is not a drill. I repeat, THIS IS NOT A DRILL! His mind screeched. So he took the best plan of action possible. Well, probably not the best. Probably one of the worst. And it only took half a millisecond of deliberation. Chat dropped his book before very literally screaming and running, leaving a very confused Ladybug. "Chat?" She called, her form shrinking with every reckless step that Chat took.

And then Chat was back, slowing down to grab his book before making a beeline for the edge of the building. Ladybug was impressed that the cat had remembered to use his baton to save his life. "Chat?" Ladybug called again, watching her crush retreating.

"So... Should I just make out with Adrien?"
