Ladybug stopped mid-swing, dropping to the ground. Chat Noir, noticing this a second late, continued on his path. He tried to correct himself, but ended up turning and falling into the river below. "Ladybug, what gives?" He called, swimming to where Ladybug at landed, at the base of one of the bridge supports.

"How did you not hear these babies with your "enhanced" hearing?" Ladybug asked, reaching into a box.

"There are babies in that box?" Chat asked skeptically, pointing at the cardboard box Ladybug was smiling at.

"Hey!" Ladybug said as Chat furiously shook his head in an attempt to dry off his hair.

"Sorry, now. There are babies in that?" Chat asked, gesturing to the box but not bothering to look in it.

"No, take a look yourself." Ladybug said, leaning back.

The box contained two little kittens, huddling for warmth. Ladybug reached back in, cuddling them to her torso. "Aren't they supposed to be your kind? They're cats... and you're a cat..." Ladybug asked, letting the kittens climb up her suit.

"Well, if I am, how come you don't hold me like that?" Chat teased, crouching to get a better look at the kittens.

"You're not cute." Ladybug reasoned nonchalantly.

"Aw! Ladybug!" Chat said, pretending to clutch at a his shattered heart.

"Honesty hurts sometimes, doesn't it?" Ladybug giggled, handing a kitten over to Chat.

It immediately hissed and skittered back to Ladybug. Who, in turn, handed Chat the other kitten. This evoked the same reaction, causing Ladybug to shake with laughter. She laughed so hard that tears came to her eyes. "Is it my birthday?" She laughed.

"Why?" Chat pouted.

"'Cause Chat could use a lucky little ladybug in his life!" Ladybug laughed.

"Would you do me the honor of being my lucky little ladybug?" Chat asked, smirking when Ladybug finally shut up.

"No." She said, crossing her arms.

"Oh, but yes, LB." Chat said, planting a little kiss on Ladybug's cheek.

She blushed stubbornly, unable to muster the courage to shove her partner away. "Ta-ta! Enjoy your kittens." Chat smiled, waving as he launched from the scene.

"Hey, get back here!" Ladybug yelled, struggling to contain the two animals in her grasp.

"And why should I do that?" Chat teased, suddenly hanging upside down from the bridge above.

"'Cause you're one of my kittens, too."
