Chat Noir's POV

I waited at the Eiffel Tower for Ladybug to show up. It would probably still be a few minutes because I got here early.

Then I heard soft footsteps coming towards me thanks to my cat senses. I whipped around and saw Ladybug. She smiled at me, but she looked troubled.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.

"Uh... Not exactly... I'll tell you after patrol..." Ladybug replied. That only made me more curious. I had to know what was bothering her.

"Does it have to be after patrol?" I asked.

"Let's just go patrol. It'll be good to get an early start. Uh... Later!" Ladybug replied and then swung away. She didn't even mention where I was patrolling. I watched her and realized that she took the left. I decided to go right.

"Why must she be so stubborn?" I asked myself. "It's so...so...admirable." I was now in a daze thinking about Ladybug. My daze wasn't a good thing. I ran face first into a pole. I fell onto my butt and looked up and glared at my new enemy. This was second time I'd run into a pole face first. And it was not pleasant. Not pleasant at all.

I rubbed my nose and stood back up. No one was around to see me lose a battle with a pole. I was still embarrassed, though. Even more so when I turned around and saw Ladybug. She looked like she was trying very hard not to laugh. Then she finally exploded into laughter.

"Oh my gosh, Chat... That looked hilarious... And I got it on video..." Ladybug announced holding up her yo-yo. I walked over to her and she pressed play. I watch the humiliating video of me running into a pole. I glared at her playfully.

"You better not send that to Alya," I warned. Then I wished I hadn't said anything. Ladybug looked as if she just got that idea from me. Me and big mouth.

Ladybug smirked. "Thanks for the idea. I'm gonna send it to Alya," she said.

"No! Please! I will forever live in shame of this incident!" I begged. Ladybug busted out laughing. I became confused. Very much confused.

"You thought I was actually gonna do it?" she asked. "You're so gullible." She earned a glare from me.

"Well, m'lady, shouldn't we get back to patrolling?" I asked.

"But we're done..." Ladybug said. I was confused...again.

"Really?" I asked. Looking up at the sky, I noticed that it was a lot darker than before. I guess I was in a very deep thought for a very long time. A little over two hours.

"Yep," Ladybug answered. Then I remembered that Ladybug was gonna tell me something.

"What was it that you were going to tell me, m'lady?" I asked full of curiosity.

"I... Uh... I was b-building up the c-c-confidence to tell y-y-y-you that... Well... Um... I'm...p-p-p-p-pregnant," Ladybug stuttered. I wasn't sure if I'd heard her right. I was too shocked to do anything. Then I thought back to that night. I kept thinking about it and realized that we forgot the condoms. Oops?

"You're pregnant?" I asked for clarification.

"Y-yeah..." Ladybug confirmed. I was happy, shocked, ashamed, and mad all at the same time. I was ashamed at what I had done. I was mad at myself for forgetting the one thing that I promised myself I wouldn't forget. I was shocked because the one whom I have been in love with almost a year just told me she's pregnant. I was happy because I was gonna be a dad and it was also m'lady's child. I had mixed emotions about the situation. (Ya think?)

"I have a plan in order to get our secret identities out of the way without having to share them," Ladybug explained.

"Oh?" I asked.

"I'll tell you tomorrow. It's getting late. See ya!" she declared. She swung away with such grace and beauty I almost didn't move. Almost. I agreed with her that it was getting late.

I jumped across the rooftops and jumped through my huge window. I heard a knock at the door. Oh, crap! I thought.

"Claws out..." I whispered. I detransformed and answered the door. I found Nathalie standing in the doorway.

"Your father and I are going on a trip and anyone under 18 is not allowed to attend. You will be staying here. We will only be gone for a few weeks. Both your father and I trust that you can take care of yourself," she explained.

"Okay. That's fine," I said. I would finally get a break from photoshoots and my father's stubbornness.

Nathalie nodded and left me standing in my room wondering what to do next. I would be alone for a few weeks. I hoped Ladybug had a good plan because this isn't the life I wanted. I want to be who I want to be, not who my father wants me to be.

I decided to go to bed and get some rest. I needed it. I left some cheese on my desk for Plagg and headed to my bed. I fell asleep almost immediately after my head made contact with the pillow.

I woke up to a loud BOOM!! Great. I thought. An akuma. Just what I need.

"Plagg, claws out!" I chanted and transformed into my alter ego, Chat Noir.

I jumped out the window and made my way to the scene of the akuma. He was a teenage boy who was shooting fire out of his hands. I saw what had caused such a loud noise. A city bus had exploded. I wondered how many people were on it.

A few seconds later, Ladybug appeared at the scene. I was very happy to see her.

"Why, hello, m'lady," I greeted her with a smirk.

"Hi, Kitty. My plan is to use this explosion as our cover up for our secret identities. We died here," she explained.

"Sounds good to me," I replied. Then we decided we should probably defeat the akuma first. We sprang into action and defeated the villain easily. Ladybug purified the akuma and threw her Lucky Charm in the air.

"MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!!" she shouted. Pink energy changed everything back to normal, except for the deaths, of course. I noticed she looked a little sad.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"My parents... They... They died in a plane crash on the way to China..." Ladybug replied.

"I'm sorry..." I replied with sympathy.

"Come on. Let's go. We're moving into the bakery alone. Just you and I," Ladybug declared. We started walking and her Miraculous beeped. I didn't use cataclysm, so I could stay like this for as long as I needed to.

"Um..." I started. I glanced behind me for just a second and when I look back, she was nowhere to be seen. She came back a little while later in her superhero form.

We walked to the bakery and I made myself at home after grabbing money, clothes, and hygiene products from my house.

"We have to birth the child on our own," Ladybug announced.
