Ladybug smiled when she noticed the sunshine was out. She thought nothing could go wrong on this fine day. She felt the sun's rays on her back and the slight breeze in front of her. It was not until she swang towards the park she saw it.  Her face dropped in sheer terror at the poster in front of her.

       "No!" 

       Ladybug looked around for Chat, but he was nowhere in sight. She knew then she must find Adrien and protect him no matter the cost. She cried a small slow cry. Then, she grabbed her yoyo and swung away once more.  

      She could not let her crush die at the hands of that horrid monster.   

         Ladybug searched until she found him.  She gasped when she saw the scratch marks across his face, the tears in his eyes, and heard the pain in his voice.

          "L-Ladybug, wh-why are you h-here?" He stuttered.

       " Adrien's Flashback..."

       Adrien could not believe his eyes. He was in the park for a photoshoot when suddenly something the photographer, Vince said made him cry. Then, to his surprise, he was grabbed from behind.  To make things worse whatever took him growled.  He felt a dangerous presence was behind all this.  This was impossible though, right?

     He knew Hawkmoth was dead so then, what could it be? Adrien slowly turned around. He could not scream he was too terrified to move then. He saw it was a short, greenish-gray thing that held a sword in its hand. He thought so today is the day I die. 

    Adrien sobbed with the knowledge that he might not see his lady ever again. He loved Ladybug and he wished to tell her, but how could he when he was about to lose his life?

     Natalie had no idea that Adrien was in danger. How could she know when she had left to visit family in the few short days that had passed since Gabriel's sudden disappearance?

     The Gorilla was quiet. He was still the bodyguard, but for once Adrien had not brought him along for the photoshoot.  His mother was dead.

      His Aunt Amelie Graham De Vily was his guardian now so she had moved to Paris, France along with his cousin Felix.  Oh, dear he thought what will she think?

     End of Flashback...

      Ladybug looked straight at the boy she crushed on for all this time. She could not tell him the truth. At least not like this anyway when she was sure she might have to lay her life down for the boy.  She could tell he was frightened. She was as  well, but right now she must be brave for his sake if not for hers.

      "Now, be reasonable about all this and set down the weapon."  

       "Ha, I do not listen to you." The Goblin snarled at the heroine.

        "Fine, have it your way then!" 

           Adrien watched as the woman he loved battled against his kidnapper. He hoped she would win. He did not think he could bare it if she lost. He would have tried to break free from the chains just then, but the trouble was he could  not find his ring.

           Great, he must have dropped it back in the park somewhere.

          Yep, he thought, he was doomed.

             Ladybug smirked as the creep drew nearer to her. She knew something neither the hideous thing or Adrien knew. She has something a bit extra on her side.

              The goblin was about to strike when Ladybug called out, "Plagg, Tikki unify!"

                  The blast from the unification of the two kwami's was powerful.  As it took place, Ladybug had a pink and green glow of light that surrounded her.   

                  The light almost blinded the creature other then the fact he had his special binoculars with him.  The sort that shielded such things from his eyes.

                  Adrien wipped a few tears from his eyes as Ladybug passed out. He could tell the whole thing was to much for her. He thought she had died in her attempt to save him.

               "Please, no!  Ladybug, speak to me!"

                "Say something, you have to be okay!  Do not leave me." Adrien pleaded with her.

                 The Goblin laughed as Adrien  wept and spoke to the fallen Bug.  He thought for sure he had won.  It was just as easy as Lila had said it would be, or was it?

                Just as the Goblin drew his sword to stab Adrien in his heart, he felt something as it attacked him from behind. He fell over and screamed, "What?  How?  You are dead!"

                Ladybug-Ladynoire with Ulitmate power wished to get the Hawkmoth miraculous out of the new Hawkmoth's grasp. She had no idea it was Lila until the Goblin had spilled the beans to her. She might have been unconscious for a few minutes, but definitely not dead.

                She smirked as she spoke the next set of words.  "Catacylsm!"

                 She watched as the chains disingrated into nothing.  She removed the cat miraculous and handed it back to its rightful owner.

               Adrien put the ring back on his finger.  He handed Plagg some cheese to reward him for all his hard work.  "Here, Plagg I found an extra slice in my other pocket."

               Plagg ate the cheese, then went back into Adrien's pocket.

                LB, hugged Adrien, then kissed him.  

             Adrien knew then he had nothing to worry about since this proves his lady loved him.

                  Ladybug broke the kiss, then took Adrien away from the cold, damp  basement and back to his place.

                  "Madame, as you can see your nephew is safe and sound."

                   "Thanks, Ladybug," Amelie said.

                     Felix smiled.  "I knew it. I knew all along he loved you."

               Ladybug blushed. Adrien did the same. 

                 Felix could not stand seeing the two of them as they stood there with blank expressions on their faces as if stunned somehow.  He knew just what to do, he shoved Ladybug, then  Adrien.

             As Adrien bumped into Ladybug and kissed her, he felt her relax, then she kissed him.

                  Felix snapped a photo and thought, those two are so good for each other.

                Amelie smiled.  "Awe, my nephew is so grown up."

                     "L-Ladybug, th-thanks for helping me."

                     "Sure, it was a pleasure to save you, Adrien. "

                Ladybug took out the first aid kit from the area where Amelie said it was stored. She treated Adrien's wounds, then put a few bandages on his cheeks.  

                   "There, now good as new. It should heal in no time."

                      Adrien and Ladybug confessed to one another. Then, they went to the movies.  This time Adrien thought to bring along his bodyguard, after all the new Hawkmoth was still out there and he was not taking any chances. Besides, he felt like this was a far better end to his day then he could have imagined.
