Celestial's POV
I sighed and sat down on the Gryffindor table, dinner had already started and a few fellow students where giving me weird looks. I looked at my plate filled with carrots, peas and some mashed potato. Ugh, stupid people, stupid professors, STUPID EVERYTHING!!
I banged my fist hard on the table, causing my cutlery and others plates to shudder.
'Could you not?' Asked a feminine voice, I turned around to see who dared ask me such a thing, then I saw Persephone. Sitting alone on the other side of the table, and when I say other side I don't mean next door neighbour close, I mean like, as far away from me as you could get. I frowned and looked down, silently wishing I hadn't been so nosey last time we met.
I stood up, suddenly not feeling quite hungry anymore. I shouldered my bag and strolled out of the Great Hall. My lose braid swinging behind me.
I found myself at the banks of the Black Lake, leaning against a tree - our tree. By "our" I mean Persy-Pheenie and mines, I half heartedly laughed, thinking of my childhood name for Persephone.
I slid down that bark and looked at the time - it was only four, I had three hours till I had to see Dumbledore and then a free half hour till I had to serve my detention.
The sunset was beautiful, the sky was a lovely blend of orange, pink, yellow, and violet. I could just see the sun poking out above the high trees of the Forbidden Forest. Casting a bright flash of light in my direction.
I turned my head, not wishing to be blinded by the stunning light.
I swiftly removed my wand from my sleeve and acioed a drawing pad and my pencil case. As much as Filch tried, I always managed to get them in.
Flicking through the pages of my drawing pad, I rummaged through my pencil case, looking for the simple tools you need for the great art of drawing.
I fished out a grey lead and a simple rubber, I sighed when I passed one drawing in particular:
(A/N the pic at the top is the drawing)
That one brought back way to many memories for now, I flicked past it and looked for another free page.
My hand set to work, scribbling and colouring, shading and erasing. This is what I enjoyed about drawing, you could do what ever you wanted; go as far as your imagination stretches. Relax, forget about everything in the real world and go to your own.
I checked my watch every now and again, I honestly didn't want a grumpy Dumbledore on my hands.
I sighed and closed the book - I could finish it tomorrow anyways.
Standing up, I gathered my things and packed the few things I had away in the case.
'Dulpulso' I muttered as my stuff went flying back to my dorm.
I jogged up to the castle, seeing as it was now 6:53.
I ran through the entrance and down the corridors. And yes, I did know where the Headmasters office or whatever you wanted to call it was. I felt my robes billowing behind me as I put on more speed, silently sprinting through the halls of Hogwarts.
*Sigh* this better not be what I think it's about.
Dumbledore's POV
I sighed and paced around my desk, the portraits of past Headmasters sending me worried looks.
'Albus, whatever the matter?' Asked one of the portraits. I looked up at her, furrowing my eyebrows. 'You haven't been this grief stricken since Grindelwald joined the dark side' she continued
'If you must know, Madam, I am not grief stricken, but merely confused.' I replied, returning the long lost twinkle to my eyes.
She sighed, defeated and retired along a pathway that swerved throughout her portrait.
I looked at my grandfather clock that leaned against the wall. 6:53. I was beginning to worry. Had she lost her way? Perhaps she just forgot? I mumbled to myself to quietly and patiently sat on a chair behind my desk.
Celestial's POV
'Dumbledore is awesome!?' I cried to the gargoyle, stupid Dumbledore. Putting a bloody gargoyle in front of his office! Argh! God damnit!
'True, but incorrect' he answered stiffly
'Ummm, blue?' I asked hopefully
'Incorrect' he replied
'Sherbet?' It was random but, hey, don't judge.
'Nope'
'Strawberries?'
'Nuh uh'
'Uncle Voldy?' The gargoyle gave me a weird look
'No'
'Moonstone?'
'Not even close'
I crossed my arms over my chest stupidly, giving the gargoyle a death glare.
'Meanie' I insulted under my breath 'hin aan dur' I muttered in Dragon Tongue.
Very few minutes later none other than Professor McGonagoll came strolling past furrowing her eyebrows at me like I had grown two heads.
'May I ask, Miss Pegasi, why you aren't in the Great Hall?' She quizzed.
'I could say the same about you, but, if you must know Professor, Dumbledore has suggested a time we meet to talk about something. But then again this stupid gargoyle is playing riddles with me and I Don't appreciate it' i said, gesturing to the gargoyle. McGonagoll sighed and turned to the wall.
'Lemon Drops' she said, glaring down at the gargoyle as if she dared him to say "incorrect".
The gargoyle moved to the side, relieving a stair case which I'm guessing led to the Headmasters office. I bid my thanks and shuffled up the stairs quietly.
Soon I entered a circular room, paintings of wizards and witches hung on the walls, in the center was a dark wood desk, of which behind sat the one, the only, Dumbledore.
'You wished to see me Professor?' I asked, his twinkling blue eyes looked around the room, as if trying to find something that wasn't here.
'Ah, yes Miss Pegasi' he began 'Lemon Drop?' He asked, holding up a bowl full of the yellow sweets.
Even from where I could smell Vitisirum radiating off the candies, I politely declined and sat down on a chair in front of his desk.
'I have recently, Miss Pegasi, been feeling a strange aura of magic around the castle' God damnit, not this, please not this
'And why am I the one you are sharing such information with, Proffesor? Perhaps it would be more wise to speak with one of the staff members?' I suggested.
'Well thought through Miss Pegasi, I'll give you credit for that. But, seeing as I brought you here, I believe you should have thought I had grazed over that intention. But, that is not the case here Miss Pegasi. The magic I'm sensing comes from you' he insisted, bloody hell bloody hell bloody hell.
'And how long has this aurar stayed intact?' I asked.
'Since you stepped onto the grounds of Hogwarts my dear' he hesitated, as if deciding whether to tell/ask me the rest. 'Is the anything I need to know Celestial?' He quizzed.
'Nothing that I know of.' I stated, attempting to play dumb.
'Celestial, you should know by now that students shouldn't keep secrets from their Proffesors' he insisted.
I stood up silently and looked at my professor with much distaste.
'I'm not keeping secrets. Merely trying to protect what is mine and mine alone, we all have something others do not know about us, do we not?' I sighed 'Then if you wanted to know the story, you have it within your petty clutches already. Seek out Severus Snape, he has the information about that night' I continued. 'Now you'll excuse me I have a detention to head to'
I marched off down the stairs and passed the gargoyle, I'm not about to tell him what I am, who my family is, nor my true powers. That's for him to find out.
These are my secrets
