Garroth's POV

*the day of the performance*

Aphmau's been so much fun to hang out with. She's really sweet and optimistic. Well, she... beautiful in every way. I don't know how, but I developed a crush on her this week. I know I just meet her, but she's something. She distracts me from the drama I have at home. Never mind, it's almost our turn to perform the Cup Song. The details are, we had to teach her the percussion with a cup. Dante comes in with a drums, Laurance plays his guitar part, and sit down next to Aphmau, we both play the cups and sing. She was a little hesitant at first, but she obliged. The one condition she had, was that she would sing at the performance, not in front of us. She wants to give us a show as well as the audience. I had to sing, and she complimented me on my singing. I swear, I was as red as a tomato. Just then, she taps me on the shoulder.

"Hey, you ready, Garroth?" she asks quietly, since others are performing.

"I-I hope s-so," I say stupidly.

"Loosen up, Gar," She says smiling, using a new nickname she made up on the spot, "I'll be fun!"

I hear clapping, the other group finished. "All right, can Laurance, Dante, Aphmau, and Garroth come up?" the teacher says. My stomachs in knots. I can't get nervous now, I can't let them down. We walk up and we start.

(PLAY MUSIC)

Wow... her voice is incredible. It REALLY caught me off guard (she what I did their *wink wink* no? Back to the story) It looks like the crowd agrees with me because everyone's cheering like manics. Just then, Laurance all grabs us for a clique group hug.

"Woah Aphmau!" Laurance says, "You're an awesome singer!"

"Agreed," Dante and I say at the same time

"Jinx!" Dante says. Darn it!

We walk off stage and talk for a bit.

"You guys did great!" Aphmau says happily, "Thank you guys for asking me to do this, it was so much fun!"

"No pro-" Dante punches me, "Hey, what was that for?!"

"You're jinxed" Dante says laughing at me. Laurance and Aphmau join in. It's like we've been friends forever by the way we're acting! I don't mind that at all, better than homeschool, which my brother has. We all part and go to our next classes.
