"THE HEART OF VERGLAS"

"Good morning kids, are you ready for your lesson today?" Mycka asked the little one then they were happy to see Mycka was their teacher on that day. At the same time, Princess Freya was staring at the young ones and Lady Frost when suddenly Alban approached her and said.

"Apo Maria, why did you decide to leave the human world even though some of our citizens are still there? Did your sister Princess Coco give you a sign to go back here in Verglas? And it seems Jamais is still in danger, especially right now. The five leaders have gone missing except for Mycka's mom, Queen Aira." Alban asks continuously, and the old woman smiles at him and says.

"No, my sister, I suddenly can't feel her aura or essence somewhere on earth and this is the reason why I decided to go back here to Jamaica." Princess Freya said.

FLASHBACK

In the Mortal world,

Apo Maria was trying to talk to her sister on the Mirror that she usually used but suddenly she didn't receive any response from her sister.

"The Spirit world is...." Apo Maria said when suddenly her assistant approached and said.

"Apo Maria, even the Babaylan was asking a help from the goddess of spirits they didn't get anything from Magwayen," Her assistant said.

In Philippine mythology, Magwayen is the goddess of the sea and the underworld. She is both nurturing and tempestuous, providing food for mortals but also creating tsunamis and other storms when she is angry. In ancient Panay, Magwayen was responsible for guiding souls to the afterlife. (Source: Wikipedia)

"So, this is the time for me to talk to Aira about my sister." Princess Frey said.

"If you are going to Jamais then, let me go with you, Apo Maria." Her assistant said but she refused the offer of her assistant instead she would like to do it for herself.

"I promised your Late Sister that I would not leave you before she died. If you can't take me with you. Let my son Alban go with you, Apo Maria." Her assistant said.

"Constancia." Princess Freya said.

"Please, I'll be worried and I'll be uncomfortable as well, if you're the only one going home to Jamais, let my son go with you. My Alban is good at fighting right son?" Constancia said while her son answered.

"Yes, Your Highness," Alban said.

"He will protect you against our enemies Princess Freya," Constancia added.

"What else can I do but follow you, you are like a mother to me, and thank you very much for your concern then Alban and I will start traveling to Jamais, but let our villagers know about my quest so they won't worry about me. I will return when I ensured the safety of the heart of Verglas." Princess Freya said.

"I will and my Alban please take good care," Constancia said.

While Alban and Princess Freya went to the place where it said the portal to Jamais, they saw some shadow soldiers who were roaming around the portal.

"This is not good, Jamais in danger," Freya said.

"What should we do?" Alban asks.

"Don't worry we have another portal that we can use," Freya said.

"Where?" Alban asks.

"At the city," Freya said then she snapped her fingers and they disappeared. The next thing Alban realized was that they were in a cafe where they were immediately greeted by a Japanese woman.

"Freya? Is that you? And for what reason, why did you come here? Always on timing same with the old times. Luckily my shop doesn't have many buyers yet." The Japanese woman said.

"Alpia, I need your help," Freya said.

"It seems this is an extremely serious case, let me close the shop first," Alpia said then she waved her hand, and the signage outside changed from open to close.

Meanwhile, back to the present. An unexpected visitor arrived at Verglas where Mycka was not expecting by what she saw.

"Mom? Prince Xavier and Ysabel? Why are you guys here? Did the shadow creature follow you while you guys go here.?" Mycka asks.

"We sure we didn't see by our enemy and Bestie, I use my pixie dust to fly with them here in Verglas but my wings got frozen because of the cold wind and the queen wanted to say something," Ysabel said while she was in the form of ghost.

"Mycka," Queen Aira said.

"You may go now; I know that you are the reason why Prince Sammy and Queen Samantha were missing as well as Prince Liam and Joshua," Mycka said.

"What? Where did you get that?" Queen Aira said.

"From the shadow creature that's why Aera was protected by the barrier which is given by the new Queen of Jamais," Mycka said.

"Bestie, you don't know what happened, I was there when the five kingdoms were under attack, your mom is not involved in this chaos in fact she was a victim as well," Ysabel said.

"Don't try to save your Queen cuz~" Mycka didn't finish what she was about to say when Prince Xavier intervened.

"You're prince Sammy saved Aera as he was hoping that you would help us, he used his last magic to save your mom and Aera as he was hoping for you. but it seems, you don't value the prince of Jamais." Prince Xavier said then Blanche approached them and said.

"They were telling the truth, Lady Frost. Allow me to show you on what happened." Blanche said.

"Who is this girl?" Prince Xavier asks.

"She was the girl who was saved by Samuel. About her heart diseases." Queen Aira said while smiling at Blanche at the same time they saw the young girl's hands glow.

"Blanche what are you doing!" Mycka said.

"Watch this Lady Frost," Blanche said while she made a mirror that was made of ice. And there they saw what happened to the heart of Jamais and the other leaders of the five kingdoms.

"Samantha was stuck in a mirror." Queen Aira said when she saw what happened to Samantha.

"He's alive," Prince Xavier said while he saw Prince Samuel was still in Hestia with Zandro but looks like the man that he loved was under a spell. While Joshua and Liam were in prison which is they were both in the dungeon of their own kingdom. Mycka also saw how Samuel released his light to save the kingdom where she was raised.

"Lady Frost, I know how to save Prince Samuel," Blanche said while she was smiling at them.

"How?" Mycka asks.

"Let me join in your quest for saving him and there I'll let you know how," Blanche said.

GOING BACK TO PAST, where Princess Freya and Alban asked help from a Dalaketnon.

"Alpia, I need your portal so that we can easily reach the destination that we want to go. Our world is endangered." Freya said. While Alpia smiled at her and said.

"Of course, follow me in my garden," Alpia said then she opened the doorway behind her where Alban was amazed at what he saw. The place was filled with Sakura trees and the mazed was made of Sakura trees.

"Doa o akete ton'neru e! (Open the door, to the Portal!)" Alpia said while her voice echoed, while a small gate made of plants and tree sticks suddenly opened and here Freya and Alban saw the inside of the maze.

"The legendary maze of Alpia," Freya said.

"Freya, I am not allowed to lead you on the portal but you have to follow this flower," Alpia said and showed her visitors the flower the leaves are lance-shaped. The flowers are tubular, bilaterally symmetrical, and usually large with a closed liplike mouth.

"Snap Dragon flower, this plant can grow in winter. And our mom loves this flower. I remember those days." Freya said.

"You may enter now the maze Freya and to you, young man. Good luck and I'll wish for the peace of Jamais." Alpia said then she suddenly disappeared. Meanwhile, Freya and Alban started to enter the maze where they saw the first flower of Snap Dragon.

"Let's follow, as long as we can still find these flowers it means we are on the right way," Freya said and Alban nodded his head as he agreed.

GOING BACK TO PRESENT, where as of this moment the lady Frost of Verglas kneels for forgiveness from her mom.

"Mycka, you don't need to do that. Please stand up." Queen Aira said then Princess Freya approached them and said.

"Your mom was right; we have to be strong as Jamais needs us. We need to find the heart of Jamais so that the citizens who are under that curse. We can free them, but we have to make a plan. As Sadama was not an ordinary evildoer. And we cannot easily defeat her, she came from one of Sitan's apprentices. Enigma." Princess Freya said.

"I'll join, you said "OKAY" earlier. Besides I can help how to free from the curse the Prince of Jamais." Blanche said.

"But you have to promise, once everything is not good and no one can help you, please save yourself," Mycka said.

"Sure thing, this is so cool. I'll be with the greatest leaders in Jamais." Blanche said.
