As Velvet and Eleanor fought, Magilou was filled with nostalgia while Sorey and everyone else watched the battle, worried. "No mercy!" Velvet suddenly yelled. She jabbed her blade towards Eleanor and left it there. Eleanor groaned in pain. "You thought I stopped their?" Velvet suddenly asked. Her eyes changed from gold to crimson red and she unleashed her deamon arm. She had a murderous look on her face. "Annihilating-" Velvet yelled, bringing her arm towards Eleanor, knocking her away and into the mountain, red demonic energy surrounding her. "-Crash!" Velvet yelled. "That was..." Sorey said in wonder. "A Mystic Arte. Second tier." Magilou stated. Eleanor fell forwards back on to her feet. She was breathing hard. "Still think I haven't lost my touch?" Velvet asked. "Your still the cold hearted and graceless deamon I know, that's for sure." Eleanor told her best friend (Even though both girls won't admit it...) and rival.

That's when Eleanor moved towards her with lightning speed. "Here I come!" She yelled. She slashed at Velvet who gasped in pain. "Hidden Arte!" Eleanor yelled. She then unleashed a flurry of jabs with her spear while saying "Spiral-" Lastly, Eleanor did one more jab upwards, unleashing a gigantic tornado that sent Velvet flying. "-Hail!" Eleanor finished. "Argh!" Velvet screamed. "Another Mystic Arte!" Lailah stated. Velvet slowly got back up. Eleanor let lose a Maelstrom sucking Velvet into the middle. Velvet got out and used Mega Sonic Thrust, sending Eleanor up into the air. Magilou was growing tired of the fighting so she did what she thought was a good idea. "Gravity Bomb!" She chanted, conjuring up a tiny blue ball in between the fighting duo. "Shit!" Velvet said as she and Eleanor realized too late. "Oh no!" Eleanor yelled. The ball expanded and blasted them downwards towards the ground.

"You two done? Or are we rescuing Eizen?" Magilou asked with an irritated look. Velvet and Eleanor looked at each other and laughed. "You haven't lost your fighting spirit." Velvet said with a smile. Eleanor gave a fake gasp. "What's this? The great Lady Calamity is smiling? I didn't even know she had the ability to smile!" Eleanor teased with a smile as well. Both of them laughed and slowly stood back up. Magilou smiled at their interaction and Alisha said "Wow... you two must be best friends! Always competiting and trying to get better then the other..." This statement caused Velvet and Eleanor to glare at her. "We aren't best friends!" They yelled simultaneously, then stomped past the others and towards the summit. "And that is the Eleanor and Velvet I know..." Magilou sighed. Everyone laughed. They ran and followed them, but then came across a Mountain Troll Hellion.

"We got this!" Sorey said, running in with Alisha behind him. Lailah and Mikleo both appeared beside them with their weapons ready. Velvet, Magilou, and Eleanor watched from the side. All four of them were failing. The Troll was too strong. Until a voice called out "Hah. Man oh man, what a bunch of amateurs." All of them looked behind them and saw a shirtless man with long platinum hair with the tips green. His emerald green eyes gleamed. "Zavied..."Eleanor said, catching the man's attention. "Well well well! I only thought these two were still alive, not the other beauty." Zavied said, pulling out his gun and aiming at his head. "Siegfried..." Magilou muttered quietly. He smirked and fired. His head flew away from the barrel and he bent forwards. A gust of powerful wind surrounded him. "Can't take the heat, huh. Looks like Zavied here is gonna show you first timers how it's done!" He yelled, running into the battle.

Zavied then unleashed a flurry of whips from his pendulum. The Mountain Troll flew backwards, but then slowly got up. Zavied then readied a shot from Siegfried, but aimed it at the Troll. "No! Don't!" Lailah screamed out. Zavied fired, killing the Hellion. Alisha gave a horrified gasp and said "Oh my gosh..." "He... He killed it?" Sorey asked. "You bastard!" Mikleo snarled. The three women watched them, waiting to see what would happen. "Hey! It was a Hellion. And Hellions belong in hell." Zavied stated. Velvet gave a low, menacing growl. Zavied froze and looked over his shoulder with a smirk. "Something to say, Lady Calamity?" He mocked, then continued towards the now dead human. "We could have safely quelled it. There was no need to kill it!" Sorey yelled. Zavied bend down when he reached the kid and examined the body.

He stood back up and turned to face them. "Looked to me like you were getting your asses kicked back there." Zavied told Sorey. "Besides! Death is a sort of salvation... for some." He told them. This made Velvet and her allies look surprised. "What happened to not killing and saving them?" Magilou asked. Zavied looked to them and said "That was before he turned into a dragon." "Why though!? Why kill them!?" Alisha asked. Zavied laughed. "Oh. That's rich. I can always count on the Shepherd and his posse to be a bunch of goodie two shoes, can't I." He teased. "But what about the Lord of Calamity?" Velvet asked with a growl before getting into her fighting stance. "You knew I was the Shepherd?" Sorey asked. "A self-righteous choirboy and his goodie two shoes friend facing off against a Hellion. Who else would you be?" He mocked. "And there's the reason why I hated you." Magilou said, summoning her paper guardian.

"Stay out of this. This is between me and the Shepherd." Zavied said, getting into a fighting stance. He let his pendulum fly at Sorey, who dodged it. "How dare you!?" Mikleo yelled. "The Spiritcrest is way out of your league. If a dragon were to even yawn in your general direction... you'd be gone." Zavied said menacingly. "Well, it seems we already dealt with a dragon before hand, but this dragon will be a piece of cake." Magilou said with a shoulder shrug. "Though, we are not here to battle dragons. Your concern is noted." Lailah told him, placing her hand over top of the other in front of her. This surprised the Wind Seraph. "You're not? That's no fun. Nothing adds spice to life like a sworn enemy." He told them. "True." Velvet said with a neutral expression. "Really true." Magilou said with the same face. "Very true." Eleanor then said. "Not. Helping." Alisha hissed.

"I take it you ARE here to fight the dragon, then." Sorey stated. "That had been the plan yes..." Zavied said looking towards the mountain. Velvet felt a shift in the wind and she yelled "Look out!" "But plans, they change!" And with that said, Zavied whipped his pendulum at Sorey, Lailah, Mikleo and Alisha. Luckily, they dodged in time. "You serious!?" Mikleo questioned. "Lookin' pretty good, aren't I?" Zavied asked with a smirk. With a flick of his hand, Velvet, Magilou, and Eleanor went flying backwards. "Ah!" All three yelled. Bienfu and Grimoire flew out of their hosts and called out their names. "Miss. Magilou!" "Eleanor!" This surprised Zavied. "Normins?" He questioned. "Zavied, what is it you want!?" Sorey asked, getting angry. "Do you honestly think that I would drop the Shepherd and his toadies into the dragon's lap, so he can gobble them up?" Zavied asked, serious all of a sudden.

"You're thinking of Theodora..." Velvet said, slowly getting up. "Shut it!" Zavied yelled, throwing more wind at her. She blew further back down the mountain. "Ah!" Velvet screamed. "VELVET!" Magilou and Eleanor screamed. "That was uncalled for!" Alisha yelled, pulling out her spear while Sorey got his sword ready. Mikleo got out his staff and Lailah readied her paper. That's when the fighting commenced. Alisha and Sorey jumped into battle while Lailah and Mikleo readied Artes. Mikleo fired a Freeze Lancer off, almost getting Zavied who dodged at the last second. Lailah casted Photon and hit, but Zavied looked unharmed. While the four fought the Wind Seraph, Magilou and Eleanor, along with their tethered Malaks, ran towards a wounded Velvet.

"Velvet. Velvet wake up." Magilou said, shaking the Therian's shoulders. That made Velvet groan in pain. "Wait, I stocked up." Eleanor said, reaching into a bag she had brought. She pulled out a bottle of dark purple jelly. "Grape Jel." Magilou said. Eleanor nodded and started to apply some on Velvet's skin. The damages Velvet gained healed, but she still had her eyes closed and was groaning in discomfort. "Bienfu. Heal her." Magilou commanded. "Right away Miss. Magilou." Bienfu said, reaching out and beginning to heal the internal damage. Meanwhile, Alisha and Sorey were being pushed into a corner and were now armatized. Sorey had armatized with Lailah while Alisha had armatized with Mikleo. "-Burning Echo!" Sorey chanted. A ring of fire blast away from him, hitting Zavied. "-Bubble Arrow!" Alisha chanted, shooting four large bubbles at Zavied, resulting him in flying backwards.

Zavied got back up and saw Sorey and Alisha going in for another attack. "Woah, hold up! I'm sorry! I'm sorry, all right?" Zavied said, putting his hands up. This caused both of them to stop. Alisha and Sorey broke off their Armitzation, allowing for Mikleo and Lailah to be out, though Mikleo kept his guard up. "That's enough, okay?" Zavied asked. Magilou and Eleanor walked back towards them with Velvet using their shoulders as leverage. "Your the one that attacked us!" Mikleo accused. "I said I'm sorry already, sheesh! I'm not your enemy!" Zavied said. "Let's call a truce. Deal?" Zavied then asked. "Fair enough. There's no reason for us to fight." Lailah said. "See! Somebody here has their head on straight!" Zavied said with a troublemaker grin, walking up to Lailah and leaning on her shoulder. "And besides, we're all part of the same team in the end, know what I mean?" Zavied asks Lailah. "Are we?" Lailah questioned, in an accusing tone.

"Sure. I don't plan on becoming anyone's Sub Lord..." Zavied replied. "Zavied!" Lailah called out as the male Seraph walked away, towards Velvet and her group. "All right, all right already! I'll leave you alone, your Shepherdness." Zavied said, in a condescending tone. "It's Sorey." The teen fired back. "Sure, sure. Sorey the Shepherd." Zavied said in an exasperated tone. "Well, I've got better things to do. Don't forget to run if you see a dragon." Zavied said, offering very little advice, continuing his decent down the mountain. "Is it really true that a dragon lives here?" Sorey asked, stopping the man's decent. "You got eyes, don't you Sorey? Why don't you try using them!" Zavied replied, continuing. "Well that was rude..." Alisha replied. "What is that guys problem?" Mikleo asked his companions. As Zavied walked passed the three girls, Velvet said "Watch out cause Eizen will be back to fight you." This caused Zavied to pause and look at the three grinning girls with a surprised look.

"What is your plan?" Zavied asked. "That Reaper's Coin is finally going to land on heads." Magilou stated with a smirk. "We will purify our corrupted comrade." Eleanor said. Zavied smirked. "Can't wait to see you try. If you do purify him, tell him that we are gonna go for a full one-to-one battle." He said, walking away. "Velvet!" Sorey called out. Velvet looked towards the Shepherd and saw him with his group make their way down to her. She gave a grunt and pushed away Magilou and Eleanor so she could stand on her own feet. "Hey!" Magilou warned. "I'm fine." Velvet said, flexing her fingers and stretching. "Are you sure? You took a nasty tumble down the mountain." Alisha said, a worried expression on her face. "Let's go back up the mountain." Velvet said. And with that, the group made their trek up the mountain.

They came across many different Hellions, but also an assassin. When they made it halfway up, Sorey and Alisha gasped. The air around them became thick of Malevolence. "What... is this?" Sorey asked. "Oh no..." Mikleo said. "Sorey, we must flee!" Lailah said. "What!? Why!?" Sorey asked. Velvet, Eleanor, and Magilou got into defensive positions and watched the sky. "The strongest entity in the domain decides its form! It has nothing to do with right or wrong... or Malevolence!" Lailah told them. That's when a big monster flew over them, letting lose a loud roar. "A harbinger of destruction... a Dragon..." Sorey said in wonder and fear. "It's massive!" Alisha yelled. "It's powerful!" Mikleo stated. "It's Eizen." Eleanor said with a sad sigh. "If he became tethered to one of you two, maybe he would have had a fighting chance." Velvet told her companions. "Like he would let us." Magilou said, summoning her Guardian. The dragon landed across from them and glared.

"No... it can't be... are you... Edna?" Lailah questioned in fear. The dragon snarled at the group. "No... oh Edna... to think that you would become a dragon..." Lailah said in sadness. "Nope... your all wrong." Said a voice of a young girl. Gigantic rocks sprouted from the ground, blocking the dragon. In front of them stood a petite girl whose face was shielded by an umbrella. She raised the umbrella to see a child with short blonde hair. She had a black headband and wore a black ribbon necklace with a small jewel hanging from it. She had blue, innocent eyes. She was wearing a short yellow and white dress with a big flowery bow at the back. She also wore a single brown glove wrapped in the same ribbon used to tie her hair, on her right hand. She also wore these big brown boots with buckles and yellow ribbons wrapped around her legs. Velvet, Eleanor and Magilou instantly recognized her from that time in Lohgrin Tower.

"Brother, you must stop this at once!" Edna yelled over to the dragon, turning around. The dragon roared in fury. "I see... even my voice doesn't reach you anymore." Edna said. "That dragon..." Sorey said surprised. "IS YOUR BROTHER!?" Alisha screamed. Edna quickly ran towards them, umbrella still in hand. "What are you all waiting for? Let's run! He may seem weaker now, but that's because most of the Malevolence has disappeared. He is dangerous!" Edna informed them. "No." Velvet said, stepping forward and getting into a battle stance. Magilou and Eleanor stood beside her, battle ready as well. "This is going to be exciting." Magilou said with a giggle. "To think poor Eizen has been transformed into a dragon... he should have formed a pact with me." Eleanor said. The dragon then broke through the rocks and jumped down from his ledge. He growled at all three of them.

"Velvet! What are you doing!? We need to run!" Sorey informed the Therian. "Not when my ally is suffering..." Velvet said. "Hey! Eizen!" She then called. The dragon growled at her, but his eyes were becoming cloudy and filled with confusion. "Remember this?" Velvet asked, releasing her arm from her seal. This caused Edna to gasp. The dragon's eyes were then filled with recognition and surprise. "We're here to purify you and bring you back to us Eizen." Eleanor stated. "Come on Mr. Reaper. Aren't you the feared First Mate of the Van Eltia? The feared companion of Van Aifread?" Magilou asked with a laugh. The dragon drastically lowered its guard, allowing for the three girls to begin their assault. Velvet and Eleanor went in for the Physical damage while Magilou stayed back and supported them with Seraphic Artes.

The dragon readied an Arte, but Magilou said "Not today!" and absorbed the spell, surprising the dragon and allowing Velvet to absorb some of its power with her arm. After unleashing a Scale Crusher to stun the dragon, she finished off her combo with a Phalanx Raid. The dragon roared in pain, allowing Eleanor the chance to begin her assault. Meanwhile, Edna stood beside Sorey and his companions, horrified. She was watching as the people from her brother's adventures relentlessly attack her brother. Yes he was a dragon now, but she hated seeing him hurt. Sorey stood off to the side, astonished. The three girls were attacking the dragon like they had done this before. It was surprising, watching them work like a well oiled machine. The dragon then fell to the ground. Velvet slammed her hand into the ground and began absorbing the Malevolence being emitted from Eizen.

"Now Sorey! Purify him!" Velvet called out. "You too Eleanor. I gained the power of purification after Laphicet became Maotelus." Grimoire said in Eleanor's head. "Right." Eleanor said, her spear gaining the Silver Flames. Sorey looked to Mikleo who nodded back and both of them proceeded. "Wait!" Lailah said. "You'll kill him!" Edna said with tears streaming down her face now. "Luzrov Rulay!" Sorey called, armitizing with Mikleo. Sorey readied his bow while Eleanor got into position to jab her spear. Alisha watched as both released their Purification powers, making the dragon roar in pain as the silver flames consumed his body. Edna gave a tiny screech as she watched the flames burn the remnants of the dragon away. The flames consumed everything, until the suddenly dispersed.

A blonde haired man was unconscious, lying down on the ground. He looked to be tall and muscular with a rugged face. He was pale skinned and was wearing all black clothing. He looked like the older, male version of Edna. Edna gasped. Sorey released the Armitzation with Mikleo and fell backwards unconscious. Eleanor fell to the right, utterly exhausted. Velvet fell forwards, gasping for air. "They did it..." Alisha said with wonder. "They purified a dragon and brought back the Seraph." Lailah said with a large smile. Edna still had tears streaming down her face, but with a smile.

Standing on a cliff, watching over them stood Symonne. She looked down at the group with hate. "This wasn't supposed to happen. I knew I should have brought that Normin to my Master.... then the Dragon would have died with just the Shepherd purifying it, even with the help of Lady Velvet..." she said with venom laced in her voice. She let out a sigh and said "Better inform my Master. He won't be happy..." And with that, she vanished in an instant, not before being sensed by a familiar witch.

"What was that? That felt like Melchior's Artes, but different..." Magilou stated, quietly as her and Bienfu, with the help of Edna, Lailah and Mikleo began their healing. "What?" Velvet asked, panting hard. "Nothing." Magilou sang with a grin.
