Sorey groaned in his sleep and slowly woke up. His eyes slowly opened and the blurry figures of his friends around him were there. "Hey." Velvet said to the waking boy. Sorey slowly sat up and the blurriness in his vision cleared. He saw Lailah, Mikleo, Alisha, and Velvet looking down at him. "Hey. How are we back at the inn?" Sorey asked, looking around at his surroundings. "We had to carry you back. People kept on asking what happened and we told them that you were still sick and wouldn't wake up." Alisha explained. "Oh." Sorey said. He got out of bed and everyone left the inn. "Where's Magilou?" Sorey asked Velvet. "Who-" "And guess whose back in business!?" Magilou yelled, approaching them and interrupting Velvet. "What happened?" Alisha asked. "Magilou's Menagerie is now the newest performer for the Hyland Council!" Magilou told the girl with a grin. Velvet paled considerably. "Oh no... not that again..."

Magilou smirked at the fearful girl and said "And you my dear will make an excellent Pigeon. Coo coo." Velvet looked at Magilou murderously. "Coo coo?" Lailah questioned. "Don't worry about it." Velvet snapped with a feral growl. Everyone jumped. "Okay then... we need to find a Seraph before putting the water in the Church." Sorey said. "Why not go to Falkwin Hillside? Maybe there is one there?" Mikleo asked. And with that, they made their way to Griflet Bridge. "So Velvet, what was your Journey like?" Mikleo asked. "Well, I started my Journey in a prison called Titania." The human-Seraph said. "Where she met the amazing..." Magilou trailed off, looking proud. Velvet thought for a moment then banged her fist on the palm of her hand. "Rokurou." She then said. "Ack! And..." Magilou said. Velvet gave her an annoyed look. "And an annoying witch named Magilou Mayvin." She said giving Magilou the stink eye. "I'll take what I can get with you..." Magilou sighed out, giving up.

The other three laughed. When they crossed the two hills connecting to Lakehaven Hieghts, a storm all of a sudden began. "Where did this rain come from? It wasn't raining back in Ladylake." Sorey questioned. "The air is thick with Malevolence." Lailah stated sadly. "My hair!" Magilou whined. "Come on, let's head to the bridge." They fought many Hellions along the way, such as tainted Eagles and Marmots. When they reached the bridge, they never expected to find it entirely gone and citizens all hanging around it. "Oh no..." Mikleo said. Alisha saw a guard and said "Be right back." With that, she ran off. "What happened here?" Velvet asked. "Not sure... let's ask around." Sorey said. And with that they started going around and asking citizens. Some said that the river got really dangerous in the storm and swept away the bridge. Others believed that the River Spirit caused the destruction and the storm for the sins of Humanity.

"And this is why I killed the Shepherd. This thinking that Humanity is so full of sins and needed to be cleaned out." Velvet grumbled. Alisha came back and said "Supposedly, the workers can't start on the bridge until the water has calmed considerably." That's when a gigantic water spout erupted from the lake. In a twister of Water and wind was a black snake with a purple spine. "Watch out! It's the Water Spirit!" A teen yelled out. "An Ouroboros!" Lailah yelled. "GIANT SNAKE!" Alisha, Sorey and Mikleo yelled comically.

"We'll deal with the citizens safety! Take care of the Hellion!" Velvet said, running off with Magilou. "Watch out for its Rising Coil attack! It regenerates part of its health!" Lailah said as Sorey and Alisha went in and both her and Mikleo started their Artes. "Fethmus Mioma!" Sorey yelled, him and Lailah becoming one. Sorey looked exactly like his Armitzation with Mikleo, but instead of blue, it was red and he held a large two handed sword that looked almost identical to the one he pulled out from the dias back in Ladylake. As Sorey started using the mix of Martial and Seraphic Artes, Alisha could only stand back and watch while Mikleo healed. "Alisha." Mikleo called out. She looked at Mikleo who had a determined expression as he casted another healing Arte. "Try Armitzation." He told her. "But I thought that's only for the Shepherd?" She asked. "Maybe not. Your resonance, having been around us for a while now, should have raised considerably. So try it. My true name is Luzrov Rulay." Mikleo explained.

Alisha nodded and stood straight. She then closed her eyes and concentrated. "Luzrov Rulay!" She called out. Mikleo then went into her and she began to shine, stopping the fight between Sorey and the Hellion. "What's going on?" Sorey questioned. "No! Their trying Armitzation!? But that won't work! Alisha isn't strong enough to do that!" Lailah said in his head. They were too late to do anything though. When the light vanished, Alisha looked exactly like how Sorey did when he used the Armatus with Mikleo, except more feminine. Her skirt now reached her ankles and was opened in the front. She wore a white dress that ended about mid thigh. Her hair in the side ponytail grew so much that it touched the floor and became pale blonde. Her clothes were white and her eyes became aqua blue. The feathers tied her hair into a ponytail. In her hand was the bow Armatus.

"She did it... she armitized..." Sorey said in wonder. Sensing the new threat, the Ouroboros launched itself at Alisha. Alisha side stepped the attack and raised the bow. "Ocean Assault!" She yelled, Mikleo's voice resonating with hers and letting the arrow fly. The arrow split into many different ones and cut through the Hellion, purifying it. The Hellion roared as it went up in silver flames, and a Water Seraph was left behind, unconscious. The storm stopped and the River calmed considerably. Alisha and Sorey both broke their Armitzation with Lailah and Mikleo. The crowd cheered and praised them. Some saying they cleansed the Water Spirit and some saying they calmed the River. "Three cheers for the Shepherd and Lady Alisha!" A guard yelled out. Both the humans were praised as the Seraphs stood off to the side with a smile and exhausted looks.

Velvet and Magilou watched from a distance. "Something familiar is up on that mountain." Velvet told the witch. "Agreed... almost like a certain Malak with a curse..." Magilou said. Velvet looked at Magilou who looked back. "Let's go." Velvet said, making her way to Rayfalke Spiritcrest, Magilou trailing behind her. They went unnoticed by the Shepherd and His Squire. Even the Seraphim didn't notice them leave, other then the Water Seraph that has purified. Uno watched them leave with curiosity.

On a boat, heading for Midgand, were everyone from the frozen town. "I'm so glad to be out of the cold, but I'll miss our new home..." Medissa said with a sad sigh. Medissa was a beautiful blonde haired woman with a purple and white dress. Her corset was black and she looked almost like a nun. She had bright yellow eyes. A little tanned girl held her hand. "Don't worry Medissa. We'll see what happened to the world then take care of it!" Kamoana said with a smile. She had green hair with a white flower in her hair. She wore southern looking clothing that consisted of red shorts with a small towel wrapped around her waist and a shirt that covered her chest that was orange and beige. She also had orange sleeves that started mid bicep and stopped at her wrist. Medissa gave the girl a small smile and said "Of course sweet heart..." Medissa acted like a mother for the poor girl who was mother less.

Both had tragic stories. Medissa was a Therian that had lost her daughter when the little girl became a deamon. Exorcist's then came and killed her, resulting in Medissa to help them, but was freed by Velvet. She was like a Medusa, able to turn people to stone and had snakes for hair in her deamon form. Kamoana on the other hand was more tragic. Her mother and her were priestesses of the Water Empyrean. They worship the Empyrean at its temple back in Southgand. Then Exorcist's came and ruined that, stating that worshipping the Empyreans other then the one true Empyrean was classified as treason. So, after disobeying the Abbey and their Exorcist's, they were turned to deamons. Kamoana became a Therian, taken from her mother and the mother became a werewolf. Though Kamoana was freed thanks to Velvet and her friends, but not without a price. The mother sacrificed herself to feed her starving daughter... though the mother was the child's meal. Kamoana was a gigantic tree deamon known as a Dryad.

"We should make it to Midgand in less then half a day!" The man named Dyle called out. Dyle was a man in his mid thirties that acted like the father figure of the bunch. He was a handsome man with brown hair with a goatee. He has hazel eyes and looked concentrated while steering the ship. He had on a white linen shirt and a green overcoat. He had brown leather pants and black boats. A small dagger was attached to his hip. His story is shorter. He was a man in a shipping guild, but was turned into a lizard deamon when his allies made him take the downfall for all of them being crooks. He worked with Velvet who helped him and was friends with all of them. He was at the helmsman of the ship. Eleanor watched them all interact from the head of the ship. She smiled as Kamoana and Medissa went up to the railing. Kamoana took a deep breathe and then let out a loud 'Ahhhh!' Medissa giggled and rubbed Kamoana's head affectionately.

Eleanor was a 18 year old girl who wore a white, mid-length dress. Her eyes were a beautiful grass green. She wore a small blue jacket and wore white boots. Her out fit was completed with her red hair in long twin tails, tied together by spiky teal hair bands. A spear was attached to her back. She felt powerless. She didn't have her Exorcist powers anymore. Grimoire watched the poor girl from afar. "Form a pact with me." She told the girl. This surprised Eleanor greatly. "But I thought you wouldn't form a pact with anyone?" She asked the female Normin. "I can see it in your eyes. You feel powerless. So, form a pact with me as the Prime Lord." The Normin replied. "Okay... but I still don't understand." Eleanor said. "The world has been tainted by Malevolence. I fear for Laphicet... if I were to stay like this, I would be transformed into a Hellion." Grimoire said.

Eleanor nodded and formed the pact. Eleanor felt her power return and smiled. "Thanks Grimoire." She said. Grimore nodded. "Eleanor!" Kamoana said, drawing the girl's attention. "Come here!" Kamoana called, motioning over to her and Medissa. The teen smiled and said "Coming!" She left the Normin to herself. The Normin looked over at the sea and felt the aura of the world. "The Earthpulses are unbalanced. It feels like Laphicet is in danger... I wonder how Magilou is doing." Grimoire said.
