Everyone had stopped off at a small restaurant, so they could get something to eat. The past couple of days has been a hectic train ride. As they sat and ate, Sorey and Velvet explained what had happened to them. "Incredible... To think Dis was that smart and intelligent for a Therian..." Eleanor said with wonder, her spoon stirring her steaming hot soup. Sorey and Rose were munching down on a Mabo Curry Bun while Alisha ate hers slower then the two and taking much smaller bites. "Uh huh!" Sorey agreed with a mouthful of food. Velvet smacked the back of his head. "Don't talk with your mouth full." She informed the Shepherd. She was eating a Drago Stew. Beside her, Rokurou was leaning back in his chair, his face flushed, a bottle of Sake on the table. Eizen stood beside him, a gin on the rocks in his hand. Magilou was looking over one of her tomes, trying to find something. The rest of the Seraphs were in Sorey. Sorey blushed slightly in embarrassment and swallowed. Then he mumbled a soft "Sorry..." Everyone around the table laughed.

"Hey Magilou. What are you doing?" Laphicet asked, sitting beside his sister and eating the same thing as her. "Trying to find a spell that will help with Sorey's appearance. It wouldn't be good if you looked like a child of a Lord of Calamity as well as being the Shepherd. People would fear what you would be able to do. They would deem YOU as the next Lord of Calamity." She informed, directing her attention to The Shepherd. Sorey stopped eating and froze for a moment. He placed down his food and his hair shadowed his eyes. "So, I have to hide myself? But I'm the Shepherd! I can't afford to hide!" Sorey yelled, bringing his head up, fury in his eyes. Phi left Eleanor and said "Sorey. We aren't telling you to hide yourself. We are just saying that it would be a good idea to hide your true characteristics for a while. At least until we can figure out a way to have all of Glenwood not think bad of you." Velvet just blinked and smiled. "Wow Phi! You've really grown up!" Velvet said, her smile wide and happy. Phi blushed a bit and smiled back. Laphi smiled at the two, but couldn't stop the jealous feeling inside his heart. Velvet was HIS sister, HIS only family member left. Though, it has been years since the two have seen each other, so he stayed quiet.

"I found something." Magilou said, straightening up, her face serious and eyes staring intensely into the book. "You found a spell to change my appearance?" Sorey asked. "What? No, I found that out a long time ago. What I just found was the perfect recipe for a chocolate cake!" she said, looking up and smiling. "Magilou..." Eleanor said with an annoyed sigh. "REALLY!? How good is the chocolate cake!?" Phi asked, stars in his eyes as he ran over to Magilou. Clio just giggled, glancing between both Phi and Laphi. Both were so similar, but at the same time different. Appearance wise, both were pale skinned and around the same height for being 'young' kids. While Phi had white tips for his hair, it was cut into a bob cut with a strand that swirls from the top of his head. The boy looked to be as muscular as a little boy could get as well. Laphi on the other hand was frailer looking and his hair reached his shoulders. Power wise though, both were equally matched. Laphi could absorb the Malevolence of a person and suppress it for a short amount of time, while Phi was able to purify a Hellion, being the first wielder of the Silver Flames.

Though she could see how different they were in their personalities too. While Phi was more excitable and was constantly curious about everything, Laphi was more quiet and more serious when it comes to anything. As everyone ridiculed Magilou (Who, of course, didn't care), Sorey just sat back, deep in thought. Those two people stuck in his mind. When he watched Velvet sink into her despair, everyone in the town had been corrupted by Malevolence... just not Chris and Rebecca. "Hey... Velvet?" Sorey called, catching everyone's attention. His Seraph's exited his body and regarded him. "Yes Sorey?" Velvet asked. "Did you ever... did you ever see Chris and Rebecca again?" He asked, looking up at her. Velvet's eyes widened in surprise, same as Laphi's. Everyone else looked confused. "You saw them in my memories?" Velvet asked. He nodded back. "Well... They were there in the first part with a girl named Niko, but after that, they just miraculously disappeared. Like they were never really there." Sorey explained.

All of Velvet's group just looked to one another in confusion, though Eizen had a frown on his face. When he heard the name Chris, he got jealous immediately. "Who's Chris? Your booyfrriend?" a drunk Rokurou snickered. Velvet just glared at him as Eleanor smacked the back of his head, making him hit his head on the table and rendering him unconscious. "Chris wasn't my boyfriend. He was my friend, Rebecca's boyfriend." She stated. Eizen's boiling blood cooled and he calmed down. "Did they die in the village then?" Laphi asked, holding his sister's hand. "No. No bodies remained in Aball." Eleanor cut in. Edna just watched them interact, though she felt eyes watching not just her, but the whole group. She looked to the window and saw an orange, red and gold colored bird, staring down at the group with it's golden eyes. She glared quietly at it and silently slipped out of the room. The bird took notice and flew off the windowsill. Once Edna was outside, she gave chase. Every now and then she would make a stone try and hit it, only for it to maneuver out of the way.

Edna huffed in frustration as she chased it to the top of the bell tower. There she found a bird masked, hooded female figure in a fiery colored robe. In her arms was the bird who was affectionately rubbing its head on the hood of its owner. "Shh... she won't harm you... Not while I am here." The person whispered to the bird. "Who are you?" Edna asked, raising an eyebrow and getting her umbrella ready for a fight. "That all depends on whether you win, Earth Seraph." The woman replied. The bird on her outstretched arm burst into flames and ash. The fire and ash were then grabbed by the woman and a whip formed. It had an orange handle with yellow jewels on it while the actual whip part was red. The woman snapped it and a tongue of fire lashed out at Edna, beginning the fight. Edna dodged and struck back with a Sunshine Swing. The woman leaned back to dodge the Martial Arte, snapping the whip at her again. Though Edna wasn't the only one battling.

On the hill where Alisha and Sorey met with Sergei, Dezel was facing off against another hooded and masked figure. This had the head of a dragon for a mask and his robes were a dark color. He wielded twin swords that had black metal blades. The handles held sparkling black pearls. The swords used to be a lizard turned Komodo Dragon that he had chased. "You really suck at this. To angry to think rationally." The guy replied. "SHUT IT!" Dezel yelled, unleashing a Jealousy Cyclone. The guy dodged and unleashed a quick Hell's Gate Seraphic Arte. "ARGH!" Dezel grunted in pain as he was sent flying. "And slow on the Arte usage too." The guy snickered at the Sub Lord. Dezel yelled in rage and dove his Pendulum into the ground, releasing several golden Pendulums to attack the guy. Though, as they went through him, they guy turned into a puddle of black substance. "What!?" Dezel exclaimed. "Too slow." The guy said from behind Dezel. Dezel quickly turned around at the guy, only to be sent flying from a quick kick to the gut.

Meanwhile, Edna was having similarly bad luck. She was breathing hard, her skin and clothes either burned or charred black by the whip. "My, my. You are rather confident I your abilities." The girl said, walking towards the Sub-Lord, looking untouched and unharmed. Edna just grunted and ran at her. "Fire Mine." The girl quickly casted, blasting Edna off the bell tower. "Argh!" Edna screamed in pain as she fell to her demise. "Edna!" she heard her big brother call. She felt a pair of arms grab onto her and change her direction of impact. She had also landed on a comfortable chest. She opened her eyes she didn't realize she closed only to see her brother groaning on his back and a crater in the middle of the street. Thank Eumacia it is the middle of the night... "Big brother! Are you okay!?" Edna asked, worried. "I'm good... What about you?" he asked with a pained smile. "Edna!" she heard Lailah and Sorey call. She looked up and saw everyone had exited the Inn to go after her.

"Where's Dezel?" Lailah asked after quickly checking Edna's injuries. "He wasn't with you? I swear I left alone." Edna said. That's when a cyclone blasted from the hill. "Found him." Velvet said, running off with Laphi, Rokurou, Magilou, Rose and Mikleo. Clio just stared up at the woman looking down on the group, her features pale and gulping loud. "One of the Elders..." she muttered, her spine shivering. "Clio... It is time to come home." The woman called down to the girl, grabbing everyone's attention. Sorey and Lailah looked up as Magilou squeaked and summoned her Guardian. "No. I need to find her." Clio called back. "This is an order agreed upon the ruling of all the Elders in Anguis." The woman said in a cold and harsh tone. Clio summoned her chained scythes (A/N: They are called Kusarigama, so I'm sticking with this name from now on!) and pointed one of them at the woman in defiance. "Then I'm going to have to go against your Orders, Lady Gloss." She told off her superior. "What are you doing!? Trying to make her mad!" Magilou hissed.

That's when the man fighting Dezel appeared from the darkness beside 'Gloss'. "Well... this is turning into a real hassle, don't you think?" he asked. "So, you came too, Lord Xorsinth (Sor-Sin-th)." Clio called to the man. The man just snickered. "Clio... who are these people?" Phi asked, pulling out his papers. Eleanor took out her spear. "They... They are..." Clio tried getting out.

"Two Dragon Elders from Anguis, Haven of Secrecy." Said a new voice. Clio and her friends looked over their shoulders at...

Yes, well. Hope you all like this chapter! I just recently started University, so it'll be a while till I get the next chapter because Midterms are in a couple of weeks (I know! So soon!)
