Phi flew towards Rolance, panting heavily. When Pendrago started coming into view, the rain started pelting his glowing ball of light. He landed in Pendrago, in front of the Shrinechurch. He quickly entered and ran to the Monolith in the back room. He took out a book from under his robes and began quickly writing the words on the blank pages. As he was writing, he felt a prescience approaching him from the far back of the Church. He gulped and finished up, putting the book back under his robes. He turned to run, but a large quantity of Malevolence formed around him. Any humans caught in the release instantly turned to stone. The earth's shaking was beginning to slow down. "What have we here? A little Seraph has appeared in my den." Said a smooth, calm yet serious voice. He turned back around, only to come face to face with a cardinal of the Church. She was a beautiful woman with luscious black hair and emerald green eyes. She had on a white dress with that held gold and brown seams. On her head was a hat with a brown cross on it.

"Y-You must be Cardinal Forton..." Phi stated, taking a couple steps back. "Why yes... I am." Forton confirmed. "Why are you doing this? What has caused you to fall so deep into despair?" Phi questioned. "Despair? What on Earth are you talking about? I am as happy as can be! I now run the Shrinechurch since Masedra fled Pendrago. And once that Shepherd arrives, I shall defeat him in honor of Heldalf." Forton said, approaching the Empyrean. Phi took steps back to create distance between him and the Cardinal. "But first. You will need to be captured before you do anything rash." She said, lunging at Phi. As she lunged, her body glowed purple, turning into a woman with a snake tail. Her body became green and scaly, her nails elongating and becoming sharp and deadly. Her hair had various pythons sticking out from it. Phi immediately dodged and was about to fire a fire bomb at her, but froze up, thinking Forton as Medissa. He mentally scolded himself for hesitating. Forton hissed and her eyes began to glow. Phi quickly turned away and ran out the room. Forton yelled in anger. Her scream echoing through the church.

Phi exited the Medusa's den and turned into a ball of light. He flew off, the rain falling harder. He made his way to Lastonbell. The earthquake halting.

Alisha and Sergei ran into the Shrine, the latter caring an unconscious Sorey. "Help! Sorey fainted!" Alisha called out. Everyone looked up from the unconscious Velvet. "What happened?" Lailah asked, getting up with Mikleo and rushing over to Alisha. Alisha motioned Sergei to put Sorey on one of the benches. "When the earthquake happened, Sorey just stood still. He didn't try to stop himself from stumbling because he wasn't stumbling!" Alisha said, rushing over to Velvet. "Velvet! Come on! Wake up!" cried a hysteric Laphicet. Magilou and Eleanor were doing their best to heal their friend. "What was that about anyways?" Eizen asked. "Miss. Alisha. Who is it you all are talking to?" Sergei asked. "The Seraphs in this room. Sorey is The Shepherd." She informed the Knight. Sergei's eyes widened as he saw a blue glow form around Sorey. Lailah and Mikleo were doing their best to heal the boy. "As far as we know, that wasn't a natural Earthquake if it knocked out the past Lord of Calamity and this generations Shepherd." Magilou commented with a serious look. "You don't think something happened to Maotelus, do you?" Edna asked.

"That is the only possibility. Only he would be powerful enough to knock out both Velvet and Sorey." Rokurou informed. That's when a ball of light flew into the room and straight into Eleanor's chest, knocking her backwards. She gasped, same as Grimoirh and Eizen. "Lady Eleanor?" Sergei asked worriedly. "Sergei. I think you should go. We'll meet you in Pendrago." Rose said, pushing the Knight out of the Shrine and slamming the door in his face. "Eleanor? What was that?" Laphicet asked? "Me." Said a child's voice as Phi formed from Eleanor. "Laphicet!" Magilou, Eizen, Eleanor and Rokurou called. The Empyrean knelt in front of Velvet and took her daemon hand. A silver glow appeared around Velvet and Phi mumbled a spell.

Sorey gasped awake and sat up. He found himself on a cliff with the long grass flowing in the wind. Her heard a gasp beside him and looked in the direction. Velvet shot up from her lying position and was looking around. "Velvet?" Sorey called. She snapped her head towards his direction. "Sorey!" Velvet called, getting up. Sorey did the same and both looked around. The cliff was overlooking an ocean. The ocean had all these white lines in it. "Ley lines." Velvet commented. "Correct." Said a smooth and sultry voice. Both Sorey and Velvet turned around and saw a succubus looking woman. She had long green hair and blue horns. Her body was also tinted blue. She was regarding them with no emotion. "Wait... your-!" Velvet commented. "Yes. Dis." The therion commented. "Impossible... but I ate you!" Velvet commented, shocked. "Ate?" Sorey questioned. "Don't worry. And yes. You did. We are in your minds." Dis said. Then, two orbs of grey appeared beside her, dropping off Arthur and Ceres.

Another ball of light appeared, this one blue and yellow. This one dropped off Zenrus. "Arthur. Ceres." Velvet called. Ceres smiled, her red eyes showing joy. Arthur softly smiled and nodded in her direction. "Gramps!" Sorey called with a smile. Zenrus shot a small jolt of lightning at the boy. Sorey squeaked. "And that is for offering protection to those Therions." Zenrus said with a glare. "R-Right... sorry..." Sorey said, rubbing his neck. "So, this is the boy you blessed. He will be a worthy Shepherd. Much better then me." Arthur commented, smiling at Sorey. Velvet looked at Dis. "What is this about?" she asked her fellow Therion. "You all needed to know what happened just now. That earthquake..." Dis said, trailing off. She then thrust out her hand and four balls of Malevolence formed and threw out Medissa, Kamoana, and the two dogs. "Ow!" Kamoana cried. "My head hurts..." Medissa said, sitting up. Orthie and Russ ran towards Velvet, yapping happily. "And all of us have to be here to know this?" Zenrus asked.

"Correct." Dis said. "Velvet? Who are all these people? Wait... IS THAT ARTORIUS!?" Medissa asked, scrambling away from the group. "Calm down. Arthur won't harm any of you." Velvet said. "Are... Are you sure?" Kamoana asked. "Correct. I am now apart of Velvet." Arthur informed. "Can I get back to what I was saying? Please?" Dis said, one of her eyebrows twitching. "Please. Continue." Sorey said. "Thank you. See! At least he has a brain and manners!" Dis yelled. Velvet and Zenrus held in their laughter. "Anyways. Maotelus' rein over the land has fallen. His blessing has been overwritten by Heldalf and Innominat's." she informed the group. "WHAT!?" everyone yelled. "No!" Medissa gasped, covering her mouth. "I-Impossible..." Arthur said, a shocked expression on his face. "How do you know this!? You're inside my body!" Velvet yelled at her. "Yes. But there is something different about me. Any therions that are like me, a Therion of Lust, have memories of the previous ones." Dis informed. "Th... That is amazing..." Sorey commented. "Quiet Sorey." Zenrus scolded, hitting the back of his knees with his pipe.

"But if Innominat and Heldalf overwrote Maotelus' domain, what happened to said Empyrean?" Ceres asked, her red eyes as cold and hard as stone. "Easy. He fled from where he was imprisoned from and went back to his previous host. And Exorcist by the name of-" "Eleanor." Velvet finished for the Theroion of Lust, her eyes widening. "Correct." Dis informed. "But what of Eleanor! If she were to house him again, what will happen to her!?" Medissa cried. "Easy. Either both will fall into an equilibrium with their power, or Eleanor will die, the Malaks she houses along with her." Dis explained like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Velvet's eyes widened, and she fell to her knees. Eizen... may die? Malevolence started to grow from her as her despair grew. Arthur's eyes widened. "Everyone! Step away from Velvet!" he yelled. Everyone listened to him and took a couple of steps back.

Back in the waking world, Velvet's peaceful sleeping face morphed into one of despair as Sorey's morphed to fear. Malevolence started to grow along her body. "MOVE!" Rokurou screamed, grabbing Eleanor's hand and lunging away from Velvet and the Shepherd. Lailah, Mikleo, Edna and Dezel hid in the Squires as Clio lunged away along with Alisha and Rose. Magilou squeaked in fear and flew on her Guardian, grabbing a worried Eizen along the way. Bienfu, Attak and Grim lunged towards their pact holders/protectors. Laphicet followed Rokurou and Eleanor, afraid. Phi was the only one that stayed behind. That was when a blast of Malevolence flew into the air. It broke the ceiling of the Sanctuary and caused the sky around Lastonbell to turn red. Another Earthquake was released, causing the citizens to scream. "AFTERSHOCK!" "PROTECT THE CHILDREN!" "EVERYONE! HEAD TO YOUR FAMILY'S DESIGNATED AREA FOR SAFETY!" was heard from everyone in the small town. Kids and babies cried in fear. The bells of the tower began to furiously shake and ring, almost like they were about to fall off.

"Velvet! You got to calm down!" Phi yelled as he continued healing Velvet and trying to calm her. Though the Malevolence was reaching and completely covering him. "NO!" Lailah screamed in horror and despair. "Sorey!" Mikleo called out to his brother. "This isn't good. Not good at all." Edna said in her cold and monotone voice. "Sorey!" Rose and Alisha screamed in horror.

"Velvet! You must calm down!" Dis yelled to her fellow Therion. He's going to die... the only decent boy that understands me... the only one that truly cares about me and not my looks. Velvet's mind was shattering, her eyes were beginning to lose her golden irises and gaining a red hue. "Velvet!" Kamoana called. Orthie and Russ whimpered and circled her, wanting to protect and help their master's best friend. "Lady Calamity!" Medissa called out. Zenrus just watched, setting up a barrier around Velvet, only to watch it be destroyed like the last time he tried to stop Velvet. "Velvet!" Ceres called out to, her appearance changing to a woman with black hair and golden eyes like Velvet. Her attire had changed to a black dress with a white apron. She reached out, only for the purple Malevolence to lash out like a whip towards her. "Celica!" Arthur called, naming this persona of Ceres. Only one person stood away, watching Velvet fall into despair. This same person clenched his and did something that shocked everyone on the cliff. It was a completely idiotic move on his part.

What would happen to him if he became a Hellion? What of his friends? His Allies? His own Seraphs?

What about the world?

Sorey ran towards Velvet, who was at the center of her own storm of Malevolence.
