Sorey just thought purifying the Drake would be simple, right? Shoot it down, purify Marlind, and heal the sick. No. What he didn't expect was a gigantic roar to resound through the whole city and what felt like an earthquake shake the ground. "What's happening!?" Alisha asked, wobbling with Sorey, Mikleo and Lailah. The Earth Seraph on the ground was still unconscious. "The Earthpulse is resonating with Maotelus, but in a bad way! Something's wrong!" Edna said to them all through their heads. That's when Sorey then fell backwards after feeling what felt like a wall crash into him. "W-What was that!?" Sorey asked. "A blessed domain, even stronger then Gramps and yours!" Mikleo replied. They all looked at the blood moon and saw eight, white dragon heads flying upwards through the sky.

Five heads veered off towards their direction while the other three went flying somewhere else. The five heads crashed right outside Marlind and three loud and familiar screams of pain rang through the city. Sorey looked at Alisha and Lailah. "You guys watch over the Seraph! We'll go look for Velvet and her friends!" "Right!" Alisha and Lailah said. Edna appeared from Sorey and began to run with him and Mikleo. They opened the gates and ran out. They looked everywhere for Velvet and her group, but couldn't find them anywhere. "Where could they be!?" Edna yelled. The shaking grew more horrendous and the voice of Eleanor rang out. "VELVET!" She screamed. Sorey looked at his Seraphim in fear and they ran towards the voice.

When they found them, they saw Velvet convulsing on the ground with Medissa and Kamoana. Orthie and Russ were on their sides and whimpering in pain. "Velvet! Velvet come on! Stop it! You're scaring me!" Said a young boy. The boy looked around 11 years old and had blonde hair. He had the same golden eyes as Velvet and wore a white shirt with a green cardigan. He wore beige pants and had on brown shoes. His skin was a bit pale too, like he never once stepped into the sunlight. Velvet's eyes were wide open, but she looked as if she was staring off into space. She looked to be screaming in pain, but no sound left her mouth. Medissa and Kamoana were the same. The only ones that were making noise were the dogs, but they were whimpering. "Guys!" Sorey called. Magilou turned to their direction and saw the Shepherd, Mikleo and Edna.

"What happened to the Drake!?" Magilou called out. "Purified!" Mikleo answered, coming to a halt in front of Velvet. "Edna!" Sorey called out. "Right! Healing Circle!" She yelled. A circle surrounded all five of the Therions and started healing them. They started to calm down a bit, but still twitched every once in a while. "Damn! What happened!? Why are they like this!?" Eizen asked, trying to speak through the ghastly roar. "It's because of Innominat! Or better yet, me!" The boy told them. "You are Innominat!?" Eleanor asked, readying her spear. "Yes, but this time, I'm protecting my sister!" Innominat said. "Sister!?" Sorey, Mikleo and Edna exclaimed in confusion. "Sister?" Eizen, Eleanor and Dyle questioned. "Sister... You're Innominat, but with Laphicet's personality!" Magilou stated.

Laphicet stood up and looked Magilou directly in the eyes. What she saw made her tense up. She saw power, anger, and sedated hunger. "I'm both." He replied. By now, the moon had gone down and the roaring stopped. Then Velvet loudly gasped and sat up. Medissa and Kamoana did the same. Medissa leaned on her two arms and Kamoana sat on her knees. Orthie and Russ sat and whined. Medissa and Kamoana looked at their own appearances. "No... No..." Medissa said with despair, feeling the now cold blood run through her system. Kamoana had tears running down her eyes. "Why... not again..." The little girl sobbed. Eleanor dropped her spear and ran to the little girl, bringing her into a hug. Kamoana cried into her shoulder. "That's it... let it out... there you go..." Eleanor said. "AAH!" They all heard someone scream. They all looked at the gates and saw a guard brandishing his weapon at them.

"M-Monsters!" He yelled. This caused everyone to pale and freeze. "T-They can see you?" Sorey questioned. Magilou turned to confront Teresa, but found the Exorcist gone. It looked like she vanished in thin air. Velvet didn't know what to do. "Wait! Don't attack them!" Sorey said to the guard. "Back away from them citizen! They need to be exterminated." The guard said. "Wait! Let me explain!" Sorey said, confronting the guard. "Just listen to my command!" the man said, anger evident in his voice. That's when the guard grunted in pain. A dark mist started rolling off his body. "Oh no..." Velvet said. "Sorey! Move away from him!" Dyle yelled. "Why... why..." The guard said. The mist swirled around his body. "Why aren't you listening to me!?" The guard roared, turning into a Hellion.

It looked like a guillotine, but the blade was made of ice. Where the head was supposed to go was a half torso of a green monster. Its hands were ice crystals. The Hellion was named Executioner. "Woah!" Sorey yelled dodging a swinging fist from the monster. "Stay behind us!" Eleanor yelled to the Theirons, moving to stand beside Sorey. Magilou and Eizen jumped into battle as well as the two Seraphim went into Sorey's body. Dyle helped Medissa, Velvet and Kamoana up. Orthie and Russ looked at Velvet for guidance. Same as Kamoana and Medissa. Velvet could only watch as her friends fought. "I... I wanna help!" Kamoana said, watching the fighting. Sorey and the others seemed to be losing. "I agree." Medissa said, a dangerous look on her face. Laphicet looked at Velvet, watching what her decision was. Orthie and Russ began to growl in sync. That made Velvet's decision easier.

"Guys!" Velvet yelled to her companions. They turned and looked at her. The Hellion did the same. "Let us deal with it." Velvet said, gesturing to her and the other Therions. Medissa turned into a Medusa class Daemon, while Kamoana turned into a large Tree Therion, almost like a Dryad. Orthie and Russ turned into the two-headed, dog Daemon, Orthrus. Velvet unleashed her daemon arm. The monster took a couple steps back. "ATTACK!" Velvet yelled, pointing her Daemon hand at the Hellion. Medissa, Kamoana and Orthrus began their assault on the beast. The beast tried running away on his arms, but didn't make it far. The Lord of Calamity had sealed the Hellions fate.

Medissa had her snake hair bite and eat the malevolence from the Hellion. It screamed in pain. "Ah... now I feel not as hungry." She said, moving back and turning back to her humanoid form. Kamoana gave a loud wail and pinned down the Hellion. She ate some of the malevolence from the monster and stepped away. She reverted back to her humanoid form with a smile. "Yay! I managed to help!" she said. She ran to Medissa and wrapped her arms around her adopted mother. Medissa smiled. The Hellion got up, but was wobbling around. Orthrus went in for the attack and simultaneously froze and burned the monster. Once the monster was immobile, both heads started devouring the malevolence of the Hellion. Sorey, Mikleo, and Edna watched in horrified fascination. Eleanor, Eizen and Magilou looked surprised and as well as fascinated at their friends helping them. Once Orthrus was done, they split back into two separate dogs, which ran to the two girls.

The Hellion was on the ground, seemingly in pain. Velvet slowly approached the monster and stared down at it with her golden gaze. The monster looked up at her with pleading eyes. "You feel pain? You wish for it to end?" Velvet asked the daemon. The Executioner nodded. "Then you shall have your freedom." Velvet replied, unleashing her arm and putting it on his face. She then began devouring the malevolence. "Wait! You're killing it!" Sorey yelled. "It's like Zavied said. Killing them is a type of salvation for some." Eleanor stated. Eizen looked surprised. "He said that? Wasn't he trying to find a cure for Dragon Purification?" the Malak asked. "I know! Surprising, right?" Magilou asked. "It still doesn't make it right!" Mikleo said. Sorey couldn't watch this anymore. He ran in and quickly purified the Hellion, knocking away Velvet. "Gah!" she grunted, rolling on the ground. She ended at Laphicet's feet. "Sis!" he yelled, crouching down to her level. That's when he felt the malevolence rolling off her in waves.

"That was my kill." Velvet snarled at Sorey, slowly getting up. Everyone gasped. Instead of her golden eyes, they were scarlet red and cloudy. She was over taken by the Malevolence. Sorey readied his blade, his Seraphim going behind him. Edna had her Umbrella out and Mikleo had his staff. "Velvet! Wait!" Magilou yelled, but it fell on deaf ears. Velvet launched herself at Sorey and used her daemon arm. While the Seraphim dodged, Sorey wasn't as lucky. Velvet managed to scratch him. That's when she went into a frenzy. She was a monster, her speed had increased along with her strength. Sorey was being pushed back. "Sorey!" he heard Alisha yell. A flaming sword and Armatized Alisha flew past him and knocked Velvet back. "Alisha! Lailah!" Sorey said with a tired smile.

"We have arrived!" Alisha and Lailah said in unison. Velvet got back up. As she launched herself at Sorey and Alisha, Eleanor got in the way and blocked her. "Velvet! Stop!" she said, desperately. Medissa and Kamoana watched, horrified of the past Lord of Calamity. "I... Must... Kill... Artorius..." Velvet stated with anger. This made Magilou have a shocked face. "Velvet! Calm down!" Eizen yelled, wrapping his arms around her to keep her still. She began thrashing around. All she could see was Artorius and Innominat. Artorius had raised his sword and stabbed Innominat through the chest. Then Innominat changed into Laphicet. "Vel... vet..." he whispered, falling into the pit. Velvet screamed in anger, hatred, and despair could be felt from the Malak's, Seraphim, and Normins. She broke from her hold and knocked away Eizen and Eleanor. "Argh!" both yelled in pain. She then launched herself at Alisha and managed to swipe her with her Daemon arm.

She then went on her assault. Alisha tried to keep up, but was failing. After her third attack though, something happened. She just went berserk. Slashing with her Daemon arm. "Nightmare Claw!" she yelled. "Argh!" Alisha yelled in pain. Both she and Lailah were forced out of Armitazation. "Alisha! Lailah!" Sorey yelled, running in front of his two fallen comrades. "Vanish!" Velvet yelled. A series of spikes rose up from the ground when she sliced with her gauntlet blade. "Phalanx Raid!" she yelled, using her blade again. It knocked Sorey high into the air and he landed on the round with a hard thud. He groaned in pain. "Sorey!" Mikleo yelled. "She ate too much Malevolence. She has gone insane." Medissa muttered. Velvet hovered over Sorey and put her arm on him. "I warned you Artorius. I told you I would eat you." She muttered to herself, her face emotionless.

Before she got the chance, she felt someone bite her arm. Her eyes widened and her golden irises returned. They didn't last long until her eyes rolled to the back of her head. She fell to the ground, unconscious. Laphicet stood up and wiped his mouth. "There. That should subdue her." He said. "You... You ate her Malevolence." Edna stated, shocked. Alisha, Lailah and Sorey slowly stood back up. Everyone stared at Velvet's Daemon arm. It reverted to a normal hand, but had red smoke rising from it. Her bandages laid all around her. Eizen then picks her up and they all began their walk back to Marlind.
