I feel lonely, my life is loosely held in sand.
Sometimes I close my eyes but all I see is a nightmare,
I see demons who never spare.
I wake up, tears fall from my eyes,
I wish I never saw it , I wish they were all lies.
I feel discordant, I feel afraid,
In a string of memories I fade.
But then I remember you and you fill my heart with delight,
And that's when I realise that you're my shooting star in a frightening night.
