I hate you for breaking me,
I hate you for you could never see,
The pain and agony,
That burnt in my poetry.
These tears that I shed,
Are because your absence is what I dread,
For you own my soul,
And now, I can never be whole.
For a love so true,
Is only meant for you,
Because you were my past,
An ocean so vast,
That the waves which touched the sand,
Left permanent scars on my hand,
Because there is nothing I can gain,
From loving you except pain,
Because even a diamond can lose its shine, 
But you can never  be mine.
