Wanda's POV

-I still don't know understand why you put on all these lights and decorate this much in December- Loki said walking around my apart.

It was almost Christmas and I always forgot that Loki didn't know it before meeting me. Apparently they don't celebrate it on Asgard.

-It's Christmas and it's tradition to decorate the house- I said smiling.

-The tree too?- Loki asked.

-Yes, the tree too- I said -It's where presents stay until Christmas Morning-.

Loki smiled and approached, taking my hands in his.

-I can't wait until Christmas to give you my present- he said -Do you trust me?-.

I nodded. Of course I trusted him, why was he even asking?
He told me to close my eyes and when I opened them we were on top floor of a skyscraper, a beautiful view of New York at night in front of us.

-Did you teleport us here?- I asked Loki.

-You told me you have always wanted to see New York from the top of a skyscraper, so here we are- he said -I booked the whole restaurant so it's just the two of us-.

I couldn't stop smiling, did he really do all of that for me?

-Why? Why did you do this?- I asked him.

-You deserve happiness, Wanda- Loki said -You deserve to be happy after all you've been through-.

He lead me to a table near there and we started eating. I don't know what dishes we had but they all looked and tasted super expensive.
We spent the whole dinner laughing and talking, with no one around to bother us.

-I have to ask you something- Loki said -I know your life is here and your friends too but I was wondering if you would move to Asgard with me?-.

I was speechless: did he just ask me to go to Asgard with him?

-I... You mean like forever?- I asked.

-For a while- Loki said -My dad wants Thor to become king but before that my brother has to finish some missions and I am going to replace him as king until Thor is back-.

-I see... But can I come with you? I mean, I'm not from Asgard- I asked.

-I'm not either- Loki said smiling -And yes, I talked to dad and he gave you permission to stay there-.

I smiled.
Me, on another planet and with the person I loved.
I couldn't be happier.
