🎶Suji⇾ Thank you for agreeing to do the interview Amy B! We'll get right into the questions. So, how was the wattpad journey for you, you've left the app now but you've spent more than two years on this app. How did the writing journey here go for you?

🍑Amy⇝It was BLISS. I grew up there. Learned EVERYTHING there. It was my first home. Whatever I have today, i owe it all to her. And it was not flawless one bit. It had so many ups and downs. So many mistakes and compliments. But everything only wanted the best for me. It was beautiful that way. I'm grateful for the journey from start till wherever it takes me. I don't want to call it an END yk because it clearly isn't.

🎶Suji⇾Aww, I'm glad to hear that. Moving on to the second question, what is a good book according to you?

🍑Amy⇝So a good book to me is a book that's written ONLY in terms of art. Like, not writing it because of a fandom, or a ship, or reads, or the readers etc. Writing for them. I respect every author who writes for themselves. After that, in terms of quality, personally, a good book is one with a good writing. Writing that could touch someone's heart. The plot is based on everyone's genre. So it can sway. The characters are INTERESTING and REAL. I literally HATE toxic characters being glorified. If a book fits in all of this, then it is relatively a good book

🎶Suji⇾Damn, I need a brain like yours, all hail Amy. And as we are talking about a good book now, let's watch the downfalls too. Have you ever felt demotivated in your writing? And if you did, how did you resurface? How did you bring yourself out again?

🍑Amy⇝Oh a lot of times. A lotttt. I'm very indecisive. But i like to see it in a way where i embrace my growth??? Like i learn new things EVERY SINGLE day. So i get demotivated with my writing as it ages. One reason i tend to rewrite and republish a lot. But that's ok. We all strive for perfection. But i find perfection in what i can learn on the way. The journey is important. Not the destination. At times like that, i take a break. I don't try my best to hold on yk. Like, let the book breathe. Let yourself breathe. After a break, I'll try again. It works. And no, I like your brain, differences make the beauty.

↱♪♪↲

🎶Suji⇾True that helps a lot, when you let yourself be free again before going back to work. And hardwork always pays off, so if you could ever turn one of your books to an actual novella, which one would you do it with?

🍑Amy⇝All of them???? Lmao it might sound like I'm full to myself. But i STRONGLY believe in my books. I think all of them have the potential to be actual novels. However, it depends on my financial stability and a lot other factors. I'll find a way some day. And I'll try my best to give my books what they truly deserve. I overwork, but I don't force myself.

↱♪♪↲

🎶Suji⇾As you should, Amy, as you should. After all these years in this app, what lesson have you learned after writing all these years? From your wattpad journey or simply from the way your books have evolved throughout the years?

🍑Amy⇝There's not one. There's a lotttt. Every single day i wrote was a lesson itself. I learned a lottt, man. I learned HOW to write. I found my style there. I learned to write for myself. I learned the reason i write. I learned how to behave on the internet. I learned what NOT to do on the internet. Everything.

🎶Suji⇾You're truly an inspiration, lessons we learn every day from the smallest of things prepare us for the future, truly. We are reaching an end to this now, so one last question. For future authors who will be reading this now, any advices to them? On their writing journey?

🍑Amy⇝Keep making mistakes. The only way you learn to write better is making mistakes and practicing. You don't need to read to write better. That's bullshit. Write more to write better. Don't aim for being perfect for everyone. Be perfect for yourself. Find a reason you write and stick to it. Write for yourself. Don't force yourself.

↱♪♪↲

🎶Suji⇾Thank you for this lovely interview, Amy. I can't be more honoured to have a chance in this, so truly thank you. I hope that one day, you do become a successful author with your dreams fulfilled.

🍑Amy⇝It was a pleasure ❤ and I hope so. Thank you so much for having me!
