Olivia's POV

I wrapped my arms around my knees. Tonight it was a cooler night. I envied Lara. Hawkfrost was keeping her warm. The others were cuddling,and keeping each other warm. I only had myself and the fire. I looked up. The full moon was shinning brightly above the forest. Fear made me even more cold. 

"Hawkfrost?" I whispered. He said nothing and kept on poking his stick at the fire. "Hawkfrost?" I said, a bit louder. 

"What?" He asked,slightly annoyed.

"I really don't like this....I don't want to be the night watch,not tonight."

"Well it's your turn,so don't think that you're special," he snapped at me.

I shivered. Maybe Hawkfrost wasn't afraid of anything but for some reason, I knew that something bad would happen tonight.

Hawkfrost sighed loudly and put his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him. "Look,even if we get attacked, we're prepared." He said, in a kinder tone.

I nodded. Lara lifted her head up. 

"Good morning sunshine." Hawkfrost said. Lara yawned and sat between us. 

"So what's new?" She asked.

"Not much." Hawkfrost said "It's kinda boring."

Then it was quiet for a while.

"I'm scared.."

What a stupid childish sentence.

"I get what you mean." Lara said "Full moon creeps me out as well."

At that moment, a creature popped out of the brambles. A villain.

It was a she. How funny,the only female villain attacked us. Or so Jerome told me. She had long blonde hair, dragons wings and tail, both dull bright blue. Her wings were full of scars and her claws were sharp as razors. Her eyes shone on brightly,staring at us.

"Lara,do you think you'll be able to take on her yourself?" I heard Hawkfrost whisper in Lara's ear. Lara thought for a while and nodded.

"Good." Hawkfrost said and left me and Lara alone with the dragon girl.

"I see he has left you." Icee challenged. Lara didn't say anything, she just stared coldly at the villain. Then she looked at me and nudged.

I got the message so I slowly walked backwards.

While waking everybody up, I still watched Lara.

Both blondes crashed into each other, fighting swiftly. Lara possibly more swiftly than Icee. Lara had a weapon and so did Icee. Lara dodged the attacks successfully, but not always. There were thin red lines on her bare skin, blood running from them. I've woken everybody up and we were staring at the fight,wide-eyed. 

Lara and Icee didn't seem to notice Hawkfrost who returned from the forest, holding a large branch. He put the many smaller twigs at the end of the branch into the fire at the end.  The twigs burst into fire, creating a giant torch. With a battle cry, Hawkfrost ran into the dragon with full speed. Icee hissed out in pain when the fire hit her. She fell backwards. She clumsily got up on her paws and looked at Hawkfrost who was preparing another blow. But before he could hit her, Icee spread her wings and flew into the sky with the speed of light.

Hawkfrost looked at Lara.

"Good job." He praised her,smiling.

Lara smiled back and looked behind her. There was me,along with everybody else we were standing there, staring in shock.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!" Sorrows jumped out of the crowd and hugged Lara.

"Thank you." Lara blushed,flattered.

Soon, everything was back to normal.  Supah and Bashey were collecting firewood while we were sitting by the fire.

"You should have seen her face." Hawkfrost was telling his story.

"And then-"

"And then you swept your knife towards her again and she flew away." Lara interrupted him. Hawkfrost stared at her surprised.

"Honestly Hawkfrost, you've told this story like a hundred times." Lara laughed. I noticed that Sorrows and Jerome weren't with us. For a second I panicked,but I relaxed once I saw them sitting a few meters away. They were looking at something and talking. Well,at least from what I heard Jerome was doing most of the talking. Sorrows was just asking questions. I walked to them.

"What's up?" I asked casually. Jerome opened his mouth but Sorrows spoke instead of him.

"DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW AMAZING JEROME IS?" Jerome blushed slightly and looked away. I blinked.

"Well he is a cool dude,I know that." I said.  Sorrows took something Jerome was holding. It looked like a notebook,made of leather.

"What's this?" 

This time  Sorrows let Jerome speak. "It's my notebook. I've been studying this forest and its villains for a long time now."

I quickly went through it. It was really interesting. There were theories,not too many of them but they were good. Words and sketches were written and drawn  on paper with charcoal.

"Dragon hybrids can't inflect others, Poison is a mix of brine and wither powers?" I was listing his theories,more and more amazed with every word read.

"WitherMU became a villain by his own-"

I couldn't finish reading the last sentence since he took the book away from me. He closed the book and stared at it awkwardly. I felt a bit sorry for him so I decided to get this conversation going again.

"So where did you get the theory that dragons can't inflect others?" I asked.

"oooh this one is good." Sorrows whispered to me.

"Well,Ross told me that a purple fog attacked Ty,starting at his leg. Later I found out that he actually had a small wound there. So my theory is that Icee was shred apart by another dragon villain,the scars allowed the fog to turn her into a dragon villain." Jerome explained. "However I'm still not sure if this is true as I don't know what kind of villain Ty now is,if he even is a villain. So this theory is really bad."

"What are you talking about dude,it's awesome!"

I thought for a while. "But who is the other dragon villain then?" I challenged.

Jerome was silent for a while. I smirked. 

"Who said it had to be a dragon villain." He thought out loud. I wanted to argue but another voice interrupted our conversation.

"Alright you lazy asses we bought the woods." Supah announced loudly.

I saw Ross, walking out of the woods after Supah. He had a shocked expression on his face. 

"What happened to him?" Hawkfrost asked,amused by his expression.

"He claims that he saw a dragon." Supah said grumpily.

"It would make sense,we just chased Icee off." Lara said.

Ross shook his head.

"I'll give him some herbs so he can calm down." Sorrows said and started searching around her bag. I spotted Hawkfrost,standing not far from us,staring into the dark forest.

"Please don't tell you've sensed another villain with your supernatural powers." Supah said,tired.

Hawkfrost shook his head. "Everybody get some sleep. We're safe. For tonight."
