Lara's POV
This forest has always been so silent. Now, it was quiet yes, but the fear we all felt was sure loud. I looked at Hawkfrost. He was one of the rare members of our team, possibly the only one to look brave and determined. That gave me courage as well. And like a chain reaction, everybody else's desire to win grew stronger until it silenced fear. I don't think we walked longer than ten minutes when we spotted Skybrine and WitherMU. Just as planned, the rest of the team stopped while Hawkfrost and I took a few more steps, just to face them, like true fair enemies do. However, both of us still stared at them with hatred, letting them know this was in no way a friendly battle and that we aren't easy to fight. But the two of them looked eager, smirking and grinning. Their expressions sent fear flowing through my veins but I was mentally strong enough to fight it off."You've planned it all out, just as expected." Skybrine said, words coming out of his mouths smoothly. I looked at Hawkfrost, expecting him to reply but I guess he had no words ready as he only narrowed his eyes. "Well, we have a little plan of ours as well." Skybrine added and once again his lips curled into a greedy smile. I noticed WitherMU turned to face the rest of our team. My eyes were fixed on him, knowing it was my responsibility to take him down and my responsibility to keep the rest of my friends save from him."Are they fighting as well?" WitherMU asked quietly. He was different than Skybrine. Skybrine was rather eager and just plain evil all the time while WitherMU was the more careful one of the pair, quieter and loyal to his role as a villain and as Skybrine's minion. I opened my mouth after a while to reply, but it seemed as if he'd figured it out himself. "You wouldn't be carrying as many weapons if they hadn't come here to battle as well." His voice was still cold, thick with hatred. As Skybrine spoke again, the obvious difference between them was once again revealed."Brining the rest of your team to fight? That's rather unfair don't you think?" He spoke, trying to act angry but still enjoying this tension between the two sides "Two vs six?" He looked at WitherMU who shook his head "We're not here to play like that." He said, the sudden cold in his tone scared me.I heard the familiar sound of fire igniting behind me and jumped foward. Some screamed as well, but nobody got hurt whilst protecting themselves. Now there was a ring of bright yellow fire, seperating me, Hawkfrost and our enemies from the others. Of course, this is how they play...They're going to make this fight fair, even if this is what it takes. It wasn't the fight with both of the strongest villains with nobody but Hawkfrost by my side that scared me. It was the fact that the plan that Hawkfrost had planned out so carefully was no use now. And by Hawkfrost's expression I knew he was thinking the same thing."Hawkfrost?" I whispered "What do we do?"He was looking around, his eyes searchjng from ground to branches for any way to get out or to get our team in. But the smart bastards thought that out as well and made sure there was no way out. At last he frowned, as angrily and fiercely as he had before. "We improvise."
With a battle yowl Hawkfrost and I dashed to our enemies. Hawkfrost launched himself at Skybrine and after that I didn't pay atenttion to their fight anymore as I knew my own fight with WitherMU was much more important for me. Before our fight really had begun I ran over the list of WitherMU's abilities again. I knew his attacks were painful but not not permanent. Unlike Hawkfrost who had to deal with Skybrine's sword combat and magic attacks, speed and quick thinking were my primary weapons to fight WitherMU.In the beginning I was doing great, dodging every blow he aimed at me and each time I got the chance, I made sure to harm him. But after some time, ten minutes roughly my stamina was falling and so was my focus. The first he hit me it was bad. It caused me to limp backwards and fall on my knees. I noticed Hawkfrost looked at me, but only so he could know what had happened. He didn't have time to help me get up. Sorrows couldn't heal me as the flames Skybrine created to separate us did their job well. But the team who supposedly sat and did nothing had another purpose."Get up! You can't lose to him!" With everybody supporting me, I quickly had enough courage to ignore the pain the best I could and run back to him again. And so the fight contunied. It felt as if I was losing but really, he was just weakening me. He was the one losing, with having blood run down each scar my sword drew on his body. In fact, the torturing pain of dark magic subsided a little with every attack until the point where each time I was thrown down I immediately got up and was ready to fight again. But I guess that was just child's play as his attacks became stronger, more painful and actually did damage, tearing my skin open. It probably hurt more than it looked. The fight seemed to be going nowhere and everybody was only growing weaker. But Skybrine and WitherMU had something we didn't, a plan. Our plan got ruined because nobody realized they had the power to seperate us. So the two villains followed their plan and eventually, both of us got pushed to the side, where our team waited. After what seemed like hours of fighting I finally stood next to Hawkfrost. That is when I noticed he was in a much worse state than me and my injures seemed nothing compared to him. He was panting heavily, blood ran down deep scars which were pretty much where ever Skybrine decided to harm him, ripping his clothes in some places and staining his black t-shirt with blood. But yet, he looked at me with a comforting smile. I knew WitherMU and Skybrine were watching and only waiting to finish their plan but right at that moment, his smile was more important than anything."Hey Hawkfrost!" We suddenly heard Skybrine yell "Tell me if this hurts."
Right as Hawkfrost turned around Skybrine attacked him, not even giving him a chance to get ready to fight. Time seemed to have slowed down, for all of us, especially for Hawkfrost. All I could do was watch as Skybrine's precious golden sword cut deeply into Hawkfrost's forehead, definitely deep enough to reach the skull and cause a tons of pain. In shock, I did nothing but stare as Hawkfrost's bloodied body fell to the ground, qoth a thud. His head was facing my direction but his eyes were dead and only stared in front of him. They were still wide open in shock but all the life in his icy-blue irises simply vanished. Blood poured out of his forehead like crazy, staining the left side of his face and then running onto the ground. He was dead. In pure shock and fear I stared at him, feeling tears starting to gather in my eyes but I was too shaken to even cry. I could feel the rest of the team staring at him as well, all hope was lost... We lost.Skybrine started laughing like a maniac. Once his laughter had died away he spoke again."This is perfect, just as we had planned." He spoke, pride and joy in his voice. Fucking pride and sick joy. "Soon he'll transform into a villain. And you Lara are staying here to hear and see his suffering. Once he's done, he'll make you just like us and together we shall rebuild the Labyrinth!"He started laughing again, only to have WitherMU laugh alongside him now. Then the impossible happened.
Hawkfrost moved. And it wasn't just a flinch from villain transformation oh no. It was much bigger than that. He leaned on his elbows, and then palms, slowly getting up. He was panting heavily, but didn't dare to close his eyes or give up in general. Blood still ran down his forehead, dripping to the ground in many small red drops. He didn't stop there. Once he gathered enough strength, he stood up. I quickly offered him my shoulder to lean on but he forcefully moved away from it, letting me know he needs no help. His whole body was shaking and his panting was so loud everybody could hear, almost feel what he was going through. Less than a minute later, his panting stopped only to be replaced with true fury. He wasn't shaking anymore all though the whole left side of his face was covered with blood which still hadn't stop running. His eyes were wide open, pupils dilated and angrily stared at WitherMU and Skybrine. Just like everybody else, the two were out of their minds, surprised just as much as all of us were. This was impossible. Hawkfrost should be dead or at least, dying. For somebody in his state to even try to stand up was a miracle itself. But for somebody to actually make it with the pain and danger of dying he currently had, this couldn't be happening. Surprise almost completely covered up the happiness I was feeling. I noticed that WitherMU and Skybrine were terrified, almost trembling. Of course, with the way Hawkfrost stared at then and all the blood sticking to his skin at the same time, who wouldn't be?"I don't see how you guys even expected me to die in front of you...In front of a couple of bastards like you..." Hawkfrost spoke, voice as cold as ice, brave as a lion. "Shut the fuck up! Just die already!" "No you fucking shut up! I'm not going to fall down to you, never!" Hawkfrost shouted which was another surprise to me, that he still had the strength left to do that "I'd die to Lara, Supah, Enderlox fuck I'd even die to Ross! Because his heart is still a million times purer than yours!""Quit bullshitting! What the fuck do you know about being good, you were a villain after all!'" WitherMU shouted back at him. I heard some gasp. Then I remembered that only me, Sorrows and Olivia knew about Hawkfrost's role in Warriors. Surely that was WitherMU's attempt to lower Hawkfrost's courage. But I knew, and so should everybody else that Hawkfrost has proved himself everything but a villain. And he knew how to fight WitherMU back with words as well."In a movie, the only thing you'll learn about the actor who plays an antagonist is how good of an actor they are. The only thing you fuckers should've learned from my role in the Dark Forest is that whenever I'm good or bad, I'll always be one hell of a fucking warrior." He spoke "And my own personal Warrior code tells me not to fall down to a pair of evil bastards like you." While he was talking I took a few seconds to glance behind me at our team, From their expressions I could tell they were all amazed by Hawkfrost's breath-taking stubbornness but at the same time, strength. Supah was looking at me and gave me a nod. I understood what he meant right away. Our time to take Skybrine and WitherMU down has come. I returned him the nod, letting him know I understand and then turned back to WitherMU and Skybrine, feeling courage flow through me again just from hearing Hawkfrost talk. "Do you fucking get that?!" He shouted at them once he was done. WitherMU and Skybrine were too shaken to even speak. One of them opened his mouth to try and talk back but I think they realized it was no use. "That's what I thought." Hawkfrost said to himself.

With a battle yowl we ran to them. They tried to shake their shock off and got themselves ready for at least a tiny bit of defence. This was a chance for us to finally finish the plan we had all along and so we planned their reaction out as well. With swift quick movements we jumped behind them and didn't take time to wait, stabbing them right away. As soon as we pulled our swords out they fell to the ground, facing each other. They were fighters, but not nearly as fierce as Hawkfrost, their only weapon now being heavy breaths as they tried to keep themselves alive. Until one of them seemed to have accepted their fate."Thank y-you...Thank you for giving me a life nobody else could've g-given me." WitherMU said, voice quiet but I knew his words were dedicated to Skybrine.

"And thank you, t-thank you for sticking with me, all this t-time." Skybrine said in a response and smiled. They died together, their spirits abandoning their bodies at the same time and creating two new stars. The fire died, erasing the border that seperated me and Hawkfrost from the others before. I looked at Hawkfrost. He was still staring at the sky, but the anger in his eyes vanished only to be replaced with exhaustion. Before I could do anything, his legs gave in and he fell to the ground next to two defeated villains.
