"Hey she's waking up!" I heard Ross say and immediately turned got up on my feet and ran to where Sorrows was. We managed to stop all the bleeding but her wounds were still open and she'd need quite some time to fully heal. She slowly opened her eyes and blinked a few times. She then sat up with no problem at all and I felt a great burden being lifted off my shoulders as I realized she was okay. She frowned as she probably felt pain from all the scars her body carried."Don't move." I stopped her. She soon understood just how wounded she really was and relaxed. She took a deep breath as everybody were still staring at her in some sort of expectation. I glared at everybody, telling them not to treat her specially as she was doing just fine. They got my message and went back to doing whatever they were doing before, only Hawkfrost stayed by my side."I see you learnt something after all." Sorrows joked, looking at her wounds which I, not mean to brag, handled quite well. I chuckled."Well with a great teacher like you..." I said and she smiled "And you did great on that fight, it was very brave if you to hold on until we came." "Aw, thank you," Sorrows said, flattered."Anyways, you really shouldn't be moving much for four days or so,after that still be careful.""Hey, I'm still alive so I'm technically the medic here now." She said, her voice full of amusment. I rolled my eyes. But damn I was glad she was back.I threw a log in the fire, making sure it wouldn't die. The flames ignited lightly as they swallowed the piece of wood. I heard footsteps. By the sound I could tell the person was running, and they were running fast. I knew we sent Ross in the forest to look for some more dry brushwood but considering the fact he was running, and by the sound he was probably in panic, something had to be wrong. I got up and grabbed the nearest dagger I got. Hawkfrost stood next to me, his expression serious and as battle-ready as mine. Out of the forest jumped Ross, panting heavily. His eyes were widened in fear and stopped on me and Hawkfrost."Ross! What happened?" I asked."They're here." Ross said quietly, his voice trembling with fear. They I thought Only one pair of them was left.Soon two more silhouettes appeared from the shadows. On their dark shadowed faces two pairs of bright eyes could be seen. Ross felt them approaching and in pure fear, froze in the place."Move over." The younger villain said and sent Ross flying over the clearing. Ross screamed as he landed and started crying in pain. He was still just a kid. But my atenttion was soon on my enemies again. Skybrine and WitherMU.My grasp on the weapon got tighter. I was afraid and I believe it could be seen on my face. But I was sure I had to win this fight. WitherMU had noticed my fear and the dagger resting in my palm as sell."Don't bother, we're not here to fight." He said coldly."You fight Ross, you fight all of us." I growled. Maybe I was a little over-protective. Oh well."Save your dumb heroic lines for our last battle, which isn't happening today." Skybrine said "We all know none of you is ready." Sadly that was the truth."We're giving you nine nights and nine days, on the tenth night, come and meet us." WitherMU explained. Then they walked over our camp, straight past all of us. As WitherMU walked past me, he looked at me and smirked. I held my breath in some kind of fear, as well as anger. But at last, they seemed to have disappeared back into the forest.I looked at Hawkfrost. He was the first person I wanted to see after this incident. Just like me, he was also shocked and afraid. Everybody else were also looking at us. That's right, we're the leaders or something. I was just a deputy we could say, while Hawkfrost was the one who led us all. And just like a real leader he sucked up his fear and raised his voice, hiding anxiety behind it."We've conquered and defeated every villain so far and I believe we will not fail to defeat WitherMU or Skybrine either." His words were motivational and gave us all some hope "I believe you're all a little shaken from what had happened. Get some sleep, tomorrow we'll plan things out." Olivia walked over to Ross and helped him get up. He smiled in appreciation. I felt on my own body that WitherMU's attacks were very painful but not permanent. Everybody found their place to rest around the big fire. I've always admired the way Hawkfrost led everybody, the decisions he made, how he always knew that fear is never the motivation. I quite often got called a decent leader as well but, I'd never have enough courage to take his place. I sat next to the fire and watched it. Hawkfrost sat down next to me but I didn't look at him. We were silent and waited for the rest of the team to fall asleep first."So what's your plan?'" I whispered."I think I'll use this night to make a simple basic plan, then we can discuss it with the rest of the team tomorrow. It's better that they give ideas as well, that way we'll cooperate better when it's time to." Hawkfrost explained. Another thing a good leader would do.He seemed to have read my mind "All though I never really was a leader before, I learnt a lot from observing other cats who got to be leaders at doing it." He explained. I always loved when he talked about his cat life, not only was it interesting, but very distressing as well."Which leader? Firestar?" Hawkfrost shook his head, smiling."Nah, Firestar is your type, but a little too friendly for me." He said "I've always looked up to Crookedstar actually." "Rude." I joked as I let my my head fall onto his lap. I heard him chuckle. I closed my eyes, finally relaxed. Then I remembered why I was so stressed out in the first place and the anxiety came back right away. I kept as still as I could, not to worry Hawkfrost. I didn't want to bother him. Luckily I wasn't facing him so he didn't notice the smile that disappeared from my face.
